Clara Matson

Clara M. Korach Voges Matson, age 101, of O’Fallon, Missouri, formerly of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in O’Fallon.
She was born January 19, 1914, in Arma, Kansas, the daughter of Otto and Lean (Ott) Osana. On November 2, 2004, in Shell Knob, she was united in marriage to Arnold Matson, who survives. Also surviving are one son Terry Korach and his wife Janice of Shell Knob; step children, Larry Matson and his wife Sally of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Charles Matson and his wife Judy of Myakka City, Florida, Kevin Matson and his wife Shari of O’Fallon, Martha Eiter and her husband Art of Decatur, Illinois and Karen Tipple and her husband Dave of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Mary Morrison of Arma, Kansas and Louise Casaletto and her husband Kas of Franklin, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband Joe Korach; second husband Alvin Voges; two brothers, Otto and Joe and two sisters, Lena and Emma.
Clara grew up and received her education in Kansas and attended Business College. For several years she was manager of Montgomery Ward’s catalog department in Wichita, Kansas. In 1975, she moved from Wichita, Kansas to Shell Knob to make her home. She was a member of Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob. Some of her favorite pastimes were entertaining friends and family, traveling, cooking, working in the garden, restoring furniture and she loved to play cards.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 19, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob, Missouri. Reverend Bill Kenagy will conduct the services. Burial will be in McGuire cemetery, Shell Knob, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.

Clara Jean Reed

Clara Jean Reed, 86, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
She was born March 26, 1929, in Baxter Springs, Kansas to the late Maurice and Clara (Phillips) Gifford. She was a graduate of Berryville H.S., Berryville, Arkansas and was a former Chartroom Supervisor for the Central Ohio Medical Clinic. Family and friends were very important her. Clara was a member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church and the Happy Homemakers Club. She was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reed; 4 brothers; and 5 sisters.
Clara is survived by daughters, Debbie (David) Crites, Theresa (Bryan) Van Dine, and Roberta (Brian) Breneman; grandsons, Robert Crites, David (Kim) Crites, Brandon (Mandie) Breneman, and Douglas Breneman; great-grandchildren, Payten, Reagan, and Ryder Crites; sisters, Marcella (Don) Graves, Anita (Frank) Belluomini, and Carolyn (Dick) Wells; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, Grove City, Ohio where the funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2015, at Viney Creek cemetery, Golden, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri.

Dorothy Hazel Lyall
(July 11, 1928 - September 20, 2015)
Dorothy Hazel Lyall, age 87, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 11, 1928, in the Oak Ridge Community, the daughter of Everet and Edna (Noble) Beeson. On October 12, 1946, in Columbus, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Earl Lyall, who preceded her in death on December 19, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Leonard Beeson and Lawrence Beeson; a sister-in-law, Dortha Beeson; a brother-in-law, Ray Harris; one grandson, Jimmy and a great granddaughter, Justine.
Surviving are one daughter, Judy Creech of Cassville, Missouri; two sons, Jim Lyall and his wife Sharon of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Loy Lyall and his wife Holly of Neosho, Missouri; one brother, Noble Beeson and his wife Kathleen of Ottumwa, Iowa; two sisters, Mildred Harris of Monett, Missouri and Eunice Moreno and her husband Joe of Salisbury, Maryland; a sister-in-law, Alma Beeson of Cassville, Missouri; seven grandchildren, John Holman of Republic, Missouri, Shelly Meltabarger and her husband Derek of Cassville, Missouri, James Lyall and his wife Barbara of Littleton, Colorado, Hayley Strickling and her husband Brian of Joplin, Missouri, Josh Lyall of Warrensburg, Missouri, Chris Stogdill of Exeter, Missouri and Chase Mattingly of Exeter, Missouri and nine great grandchildren.
Dorothy received her education at Oak Ridge School and was a life-long resident of the Oak Ridge Community. She was a homemaker and loved working in her yard, especially her rock garden. Some of her other favorite pastimes were quilting, canning, going to garage sales with Earl, listening to Bluegrass music, talking on the phone for hours, spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, and was lovingly known for “giving orders”. Before entering Cassville Health Care she attended Community Faith Chapel in Cassville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell and Pastor Jerry Nickle will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery, Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Robin DeAnn Kroll
(September 25, 1963 - September 19, 2015)
Robin DeAnn Kroll, age 51, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Branson.
She was born September 25, 1963, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Dema (Zwirn) Palmer. On January 14, 1984, she was united in marriage to Kevin Kroll, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents; her step-mother, Ruth Palmer; one son, Skyler Mikel Kroll and one sister, Sharon Dugan.
Surviving are one son, Terry Palmer of Gentry, Arkansas; two daughters, Jessica Waldron and her husband, Robert and Kayleen Kroll all of Branson, Missouri; one brother, Harry Palmer of Eagle Rock, Missouri; one sister, Linda Ball and her husband, Denny of Eagle Rock, Missouri; a step-sister, Sharon Doble of Little Flock, Arkansas; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robin was a graduate of Harry S. Truman High School in Independence, Missouri and took some online classes from Kaplan University. She moved from Independence to Eagle Rock, Missouri and then lived several years in Arkansas. She also resided in Florida and South Carolina for a while. For several years she was a cook for fast food restaurants and at one time she was a truck driver, which she really enjoyed. For seven and a half years she was a volunteer firefighter for Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Some of her favorite pastimes were fishing, doing computer graphics, her facebook support groups and being with her grandkids.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 24, 2015, in Concord cemetery, Exeter, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Thursday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Ralph Stanley Conrad,Jr.
(June 23, 1947 - September 20, 2015)
Ralph Stanley Conrad, Jr., 68, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away from this earthly life on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at his home. Arrangements are under the care of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville, Missouri. The family will meet and greet visitors at Fohn Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2015. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2015, at Fort Gibson National cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
Ralph was born on June 23, 1947, in Norwood, Massachusetts to Ralph and Mildred (Nobles) Conrad. Ralph attended Wilson Junior High and graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1965, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following high school, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he was a starter on the OBU Men’s Basketball team that won the NAIA National Championship in 1966.
In 1968, Ralph was called to serve in the United States Army. He was deployed to Vietnam where he served from May of 1968 until December of 1969. He received many honors while serving his country, including; National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Marksman Medal (M-14/M-16), Vietnam Campaigne Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and two overseas service bars.
On January 30, 1970, he married
Vicki Ruth Douglas in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they raised two daughters, Michelle and Jennifer.
Ralph was a master carpenter in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years before going to Oklahoma State University, Physical Plant in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he was employed from 1984 until 2006.
Following retirement in 2006, Ralph and Vicki moved to Seligman, Missouri where they live on their farm, enjoying morning coffee on the porch and watching wildlife.
Ralph was a member of several organizations and was also a Cherokee Citizen. He won the Cherokee National Holiday Cornstalk Bow Shoot several years.
Ralph was an avid bow hunter. He was a bow builder for many years and also picked up the art of flintknapping; this allowed him to hunt primitively with stone points. Ralph was known all over the United States for his flintknapping abilities and his interest in showing others what he knew.
He also had a passion for fishing which began when he was a child at his grandparents farm in Checotah, Oklahoma. As the years went by, he picked up fly fishing and the knack of fly tying. He greatly enjoyed the many friends who shared his passion for fishing.
Ralph and Vicki traveled through the years to many Flint Knap-Ins and loved to fish together at Roaring River State Park in Missouri. Most recently they were able to go to Orofino, Idaho where he reeled in a number of salmon.
Ralph was blessed with being called “popie” by four grandsons and two granddaughters. He passed onto them his love for life, knowledge and wisdom, and the importance of working hard and being responsible.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Vicki; daughter Michelle Jardot and husband Jason of Ripley, Oklahoma; daughter Jennifer Williams and husband Orlando of Stillwater, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Mitch Jardot, Todd Jardot, Brady Jardot, Hope Williams, Addie Jardot and Lanny Williams; one brother, Glen Conrad of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Conrad.

Barbara Ann Heath
(June 13, 1942 - September 21, 2015)
Barbara Ann Heath, age 73, of Jenkins, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born June 13, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Madeline Graham and raised by her adopted parents, Tom and Alice McFall. In June, 1987, in Ormond Beach, Florida, she was united in marriage to Eugene Leslie “Gene” Heath, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Susan Merritt-Stevison of Alexandria, Louisiana; three sons Barry Merritt of Aurora, Missouri, Anthony Merritt of Cassville, Missouri and Michael Merritt of Daytona Beach, Florida; five step-daughters, Linda Rowsey and her husband Ken of Baltimore, Maryland, Nancy Williams and her husband Lane of Salem, North Carolina, Mary Jo Gordon of Daytona Beach, Florida, Brenda Wiggins and her husband Mike of Daytona Beach, Florida and Lisa Becker and her husband Jeff of Wilmington, Ohio; one step-son, Eugene Heath, Jr. of Daytona Beach, Florida; one brother, Allen Graham of Windsor, Canada; one sister, Carol Duncan and her husband Dave of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Barbara grew up and received her education in Detroit, Michigan. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Verona, Missouri and Ormond Beach, Florida. In 1992, she returned to Jenkins, Missouri to make her home. She was an excellent artist, especially oil paintings. Some of her other favorite pastimes were quilting, needle point, cross stitch and gardening. She loved animals, music and never met a stranger. She was an active member of Studio 55 Guild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2015, in Clio cemetery, Jenkins, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Mary E. Lowe, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri, entered her heavenly home, Monday, September 28, 2015, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born February 26, 1939, in Cassville, the daughter of Henry and Goldie (Daum) Ennis. On January 26, 1957, she was united in marriage to Bud Lowe, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Mike Lowe and his wife Carleen of Exeter, Missouri; two daughters, Diana Lyons and her husband Les of Cassville and Karen Shuey and her husband Dale of Purdy, Missouri; one brother, Rod Ennis of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Barbara Warren and her husband Charles of Exeter, Carol Parscale and her husband Zack of Independence, Missouri and Terry Scofield and her husband Tim of Quinter, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Brian Lyons and his wife Margaret, Chris Lyons and his wife Tamara, Nick Lyons and his girlfriend Jamie Wilson, Jennifer Talbert and her husband Josh, Matthew Shuey, Michael Shuey and his wife Abby, Dusty Brooks and Jodi Crumpler and her husband Boyce and sixteen great grandchildren.

Mary grew up and received her education at Cassville and graduated from Exeter High School. She had been a school assistant to the principal at Cassville and then worked for the V.A. office until it closed in Cassville. After that she became a homemaker and did bookkeeping for her husband Bud. She enjoyed Cassville Cruisers Car Club and she loved being with family. She was a long time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church since the 1970’s.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Lawrence Shuey and Pastor Doyle Russell will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery, Cassville.
