Myrtle Crawford Shelley
(April 30, 1921 - June 26, 2015)
Myrtle Emaline (Shockley) Crawford Shelley, age 94, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 30, 1921, in McDonald County, Missouri, the daughter of Bert and Maude (Lee) Shockley. In September, 1937, she was united in marriage to John Crawford, who preceded her in death on December 23, 1972. Born to this union were five children, Bob, Janice, Shirley, Connie and Johnny. She married
Carl Shelley, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were four brothers, Everett Shockley, Wilbur Shockley, Charley Shockley and Wayne Shockley; four sisters, Hazel Young, Bonnie Woodward, Minnie Davis and Norma Catron; one grandson, Jeffrey Quick and one great grandson, Nathan Hopkins.
Surviving are her children, Bob Crawford and his wife, Brenda of Rogers, Arkansas, Janice (Crawford) Quick and her husband, David of Exeter, Missouri, Shirley (Crawford) Hopkins and her husband, Gary of Exeter, Missouri, Connie (Crawford) Faucett and her husband, Bill of Elkland, Missouri and Johnny Crawford and his wife, Debbie of Washburn, Missouri; one brother, Marvin Shockley of Wheaton, Missouri; one sister, Irene Kimbrough of Carthage, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; three step-children and several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Myrtle was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church. For over twenty years she worked at Armour’s and Tyson Poultry Plants. Some of her favorite pastimes were camping, fishing, playing Bingo, sewing and reading. She was a homemaker and a very good cook. She also loved to feed anyone that came visiting. Most of all she loved her family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2015, in Maplewood cemetery, Exeter, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Linda Ann West
(September 30, 1944 - June 27, 2015)
On a sunny day in Southern California, September 30th, 1944, the blonde curly headed spitfire who would later become my mother, Linda Ann Ross West, came into this world body and spirit. On a calm cloudy morning in Southwest Missouri, June 27th, 2015, with her family at her side, her spirit peacefully left this world. Linda Ann Ross West was born in Southern California in 1944 to Linus and Alma Dibble Ross, who preceded her in death. She had one sibling, Rita Jo Fuller, who preceded her in death. She attended and graduated from Lynwood High School, Lynwood, CA. She was married
to Jim Cleary in Southern California in 1960. He preceded her in death. She married
Norman West in Southern California in 1969 and was married
to him until 1977. Two children, Leslie Ann and Aaron Ross, were born of that union, they survive.
Norman and Linda and their 4 children, Robert, Lori, Lisa and Leslie and two dogs, Louie and Pugs, moved to Southwest MO in 1972. Aaron Ross West was born to them in Monett, MO in 1975. Linda remained a resident of Purdy and Southwest MO the remainder of her days. She was a talented artist and loved calling the Ozarks her home. Linda worked for the Los Angeles Police Dept.; VB Hall Produce, Monett, MO; the Courthouse in Barry County MO at Cassville; Transpro, Inc., Mt. Vernon, MO; she painted items to sell to Bob and Dixie Dillow at the Painted Pony in Eureka Springs, Ark; and finally, she was the Corporate Metal Control Secretary for (Hydro) Wells Aluminum in Monett, MO for 25 years, retiring in 2005. The men and women at Wells will never forget her.
She leaves behind her 5 children, one fantastic daughter-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one niece and her husband, one nephew, cousins in Illinois and Indiana and a host of other beloved family and friends. We will miss her greatly.
She went on to be with her Lord; her parents, Linus and Alma; her birth mother, Levada Brown of Indiana; her sister, Rita; her first husband, Jim; her father and mother-in-law, Leslie and Eva J. West; her Aunt Thelma; her daughter-in-law, Diana West; her son-in-law, Bill Thomas; her son-in-law, Jim Tindle; her nephew, John; and her beloved friend Dan Towers.
There will be no formal services for Linda. At her request, her earthly body will be cremated by Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, MO and her ashes scattered by a small gathering of family and friends in Eureka Springs, Ark at a later date. Donations can be made in Linda’s name to the Susan G Komen breast cancer foundation. Mom had Kidney cancer, but we all have lovely ladies in our lives we cherish and Susan G Komen is a worthy cause.
The family wishes to extend special Thanks to all of our friends and family who have reached out to us and Mom and provided support along this difficult journey. Terry Sondermann for being an Angel to our Mom as well as a fantastic physician. Dr. Robert Ellis and his staff, Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO, Washington University surgeons and their teams, Hospice Compassus and Cassville Health Care and Rehab and all of their amazing staff for making the end to this journey peaceful and bearable. I will never forget any of you!

Robert "Bob" Ed Angle
(September 30, 1939 - June 26, 2015)
Robert Ed “Bob” Angle, age 75, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in Cox-Monett Hospital.
He was born September 30, 1939, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Edwin Shirley and Edna (Cox) Angle. On December 21, 1961, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Anne Weaver, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Robert Breton Angle and his fiancée Lori Jane Johnson of Nesbit, Mississippi; two daughters, Shanna Lea Angle of St. Louis, Missouri and Elizabeth Anne Angle of Puyallup, Washington; three grandchildren, Stephen Andrew Tyson, Grant Todd Angle and his wife, Jessie and Robert Adam Leach and two great grandchildren, Luke Tyson and Spencer Angle.
Bob grew up and received his education in El Paso, Texas, where he graduated from high school and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). In 1976, he and his family moved from El Paso to Missouri and began teaching biology at Pierce City. He then taught for eighteen years at Washburn. His other full-time job was raising cattle and chickens. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville and the Masonic Lodge in El Paso.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial will be in Gunter cemetery at Butterfield.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in Cassville First Baptist Church.

Beverly Maher
(April 15, 1938 - June 26, 2015)
Beverly Maher, age 77, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born April 15, 1938, in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Ira and Fern (Thompson) Sparks. On July 5, 1956, at Camp Pendleton, California, she was united in marriage to Ignatius “Big Al” Maher, who preceded her in death on November 20, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one sister.
Surviving are three sons, Jeff Maher of Franklin, Tennessee, Marty Maher of Cassville, Missouri and Chris Maher and his wife, Amy of Shell Knob, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Briley of Springfield, Missouri and Nancy Foley of Republic, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Bev also leaves behind her cat Muffin who she adored.
Beverly grew up and received her education in Cherryvale, Kansas, where she graduated from high school. In 1956, she and her husband moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, remaining there until 1979, when they moved to Shell Knob to make their home. For several years she was secretary for Shell Knob Elementary School. She was an active member of Shell Knob First Baptist Church, was on the Kornerstone Board, delivered home meals for Shell Knob Senior Center and active at the Farmers Market. Some of her favorite pastimes were arts and crafts, which she sold at Silver Dollar City and was an avid Cardinals fan.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, June 29, 2015, in Shell Knob First Baptist Church, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor Bob Gaddis will conduct the services. Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic cemetery, Cherryvale, Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until service time Monday in First Baptist Church, Shell Knob.

Terry Wade DeGraffenreid
(July 5, 1949 - June 28, 2015)
Terry Wade DeGraffenreid, age 65, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 28,
2015, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born July 5, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Bates) DeGraffenreid. On July 16, 2011, he was united in marriage to Brenda (Keys) Brattin, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Terri Lynn DeGraffenreid Brattin and her husband, Mike of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and Laura Simac and her husband, Jason of Madison, Wisconsin; one stepson, Rob Brattin and his wife, Taylor of Wheaton, Missouri; four brothers, Kelly DeGraffenreid and his wife, Donna of Monett, Missouri, his twin brother, Jerry DeGraffenreid and his wife, Marian of Forsyth, Missouri, Rick DeGraffenreid and his wife, Alexis of Ava, Missouri and Randy DeGraffenreid and his wife, Linda of Pilot Point, Texas and six grandchildren, Allie, Emma, Luke, Bentley, Camren and Zoey. Terry is loved by many nieces and nephews, and his faithful friend, Kenny Perriman.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Dr. Ron DeGraffenreid.
Terry grew up and received his education at Bolivar, Missouri, where he graduated from high school and was a graduate of Southwest Baptist University. For a few years he was employed for Colonial Bread Company and then began working for Shelter Insurance in Warrensburg, Missouri. In 1986, he became the Shelter Insurance Agent for Cassville. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cassville. Terry currently serves on the Freedom Bank Board and Mercy Hospital Board, and previously served on the Cassville Golf Course Board. He received many Shelter Insurance Awards including runner up for Agent of the Year in 1987, twenty-eight Conference of Champion Awards and eighteen Millionaire’s Trips. On November 2, 2011, Terry and his brothers were inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and were presented the Filbert 5 Award, for basketball.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 2, 2015, in the Cassville
Family Life Center, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort cemetery, Rocky Comfort, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Dorthy Jean Park
(July 25, 1933 - June 28, 2015)
Dorthy Jean Park, age 81, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Cox-Monett Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1933, in Cicero, Indiana, the daughter of John O. and Mabel (Siscoe) Anderson. On October 20, 1951, in Stevenson, Washington, she was united in marriage to Wallace Raymond “Bud” Park, who preceded her in death on July 27, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are five children, Wallace “Bud” Park and his wife, Debra of Wheaton, Missouri, Terri Lynn Lee and her husband, Rick of Lake Forest, California, Debbie Kay Arvidson and her husband, Wayne of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Barbara Sue “Barbie” Feld and her husband, Stephen of Simi Valley, California and Robert Raymond “Bobby” Park of Hemet, California; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Dorthy grew up and received her education in Arkansas. She and her husband had resided in California and Oregon before moving to Wheaton to make their home. She was a proud mom, loving grandmother and great grandmother. She always said “I love my kids so much”. She was blessed with many friends. Some of her favorite things to do were visiting with family, going out to eat and going on scenic drives, even though she didn’t drive. She always said “keep a tidy house because you never know when Jesus will knock at your door”. Her house was always open for anyone that needed to talk or just a place to stay. She had a generous heart, was a loving wife, precious mom and grandma and was loved by all.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2, 2015, in Wheaton Southern Baptist Church. Pastor Paul Wahlert will conduct the services.

Donna Jean Dodson

Donna Jean Dodson, age 71, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born September 25, 1943, in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Don Roller and Irene (Roden) Roller. On August 10, 1962, she was united in marriage to Morris Dodson, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donnie Dodson and his wife, Monica of Purdy, Missouri and Tommy Dodson and his wife, Mardi of Cassville, Missouri; two brothers, Bill Roller and Ted Roller both of Purdy, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Cody Dodson and his wife, Ashley, Cory Dodson and his wife, Candance, Matthew O’Leary and his wife, Rochelle, and Angela, Taylor, Annie and Issac Dodson; thirteen great grandchildren and countless babysitting kids.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Donna grew up and received her education in Purdy, where she graduated from high school and then attended Draughon’s Business College. She was a life-long resident of Purdy, before moving to Cassville four years ago. For several years she was a cashier at Wal-Mart and also baby sat in her home for many years. She was a member of Ridgley Assembly of God Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were studying her Sunday school lesson, going to church, being with family and talking on the phone. She loved and cared about all the people she knew which are too many to number.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 3, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Dan Watson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Butterfield, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Douglas "Doug" Wayne Holman

Douglas Wayne “Doug” Holman, age 40, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, in his home.
He was born May 29, 1974, in Monett, Missouri, the son of William Holman and Bobbie (Pippin) Holman.
Doug grew up and received his education at Cassville, spending his entire life here. For several years he was assistant manager at Ramey’s in Cassville and was currently employed at Arning. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his mother, Bobbie Holman of Cassville, Missouri; his father, Bill Holman and his companion, Phyllis Cunningham of Cassville, Missouri; twin sons, Shane and Alex Holman of Cassville, Missouri; a son, Gage McClelland of Seligman, Missouri and one brother, Alfred “Al” Holman of Mountain View, Missouri.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Russell Bishop will conduct the services.
