Ruby Lester Stanley

Ruby Lester Stanley, age 95 of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011, in Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cassville, Missouri.
He was born July 30, 1916, in Busch, Arkansas, the son of James Leonard and Josephine (Call) Stanley. On March 11, 1939, he was united in marriage to Ersie Marie David, who preceded him in death on October 10, 1973. In 1979, he married
Ona Taylor, who also preceded him in death. Others preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Lynn Stanley; a daughter, Wanda Jean Stanley and one sister, Bernice Tilley of California.
Surviving are three sons, Raymond Lester Stanley and his wife Pat of Seligman, Alvin Leon Stanley of Seligman and Neal James Stanley and his wife, Cleta of Seligman; one daughter, Eldora Ann McCarty and her husband, Jim of Farmington, Arkansas; one sister, Cordie Forgey of Rogers, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Ruby received his education at Egypt School near Busch, Arkansas, Seligman is where he spent most of his life. He was a long-time cattle farmer, which he loved. Logging was also a part of his life. He also helped build Beaver Dam. He was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church. Some of his favorite pastimes were singing and playing the dobro.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri. Pastor Carroll Williamson will conduct the services. Burial will be at Gateway cemetery, Gateway, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Red Rose Health and Rehabilitation Center or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Ruby.

Charles Junior Morris
(October 9, 1947 - November 10, 2011)
Charles Junior Morris, age 64, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011, in his home.
He was born October 9, 1947, in Aurora, Missouri, the son of Charlie and Fern (Stienert) Morris, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Jimmy Morris and Jerry Morris and one sister, Maxie Graham.
Surviving are his companion, Loretta Clark; three sons, Charles David Morris of San Francisco, California, Dennis Morris and Danny Morris both of Aurora, Missouri; two daughters, Melinda Morris and Mellissa Pritcherd both of Aurora, Missouri; three brothers, Kenneth Morris of Reno, Nevada, Truman Morris of Marionville, Missouri and Terry Morris of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Mara Jensen of Aurora, Missouri and Betty Gonsalez of Reno, Nevada and one grandchild, Dylan Andrus.
Charles grew up and received his education at Reno, Nevada, graduating from Wooster High School. He then went on to Oklahoma Technical College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Most of his life was spent as an over the road truck driver, working for Trail Liner in Springfield, Missouri. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting and he loved working in his flower garden.

Wanda Darlene Johnson
(October 5, 1953 - November 9, 2011)
Wanda Darlene Johnson, age 58, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in her home.
She was born October 5, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Walter Robert and Darlene (Linder) Wagner, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Ron Young and Robert Young and one sister, Luella Kemphor.
Surviving are her ex-husband, Bobbie Johnson of Wheaton, Missouri; two brothers, Martin Wagner and his wife, Debbie of Kentucky and Ray Young and his wife, Debbie of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Alethea Cash of Jay, Oklahoma and Norma Webb and her husband, Clint of Eucha, Oklahoma and a sister-in-law, Kelly Johnson of Rogers, Arkansas.
Wanda received her education in Dover, Arkansas. She lived in Rogers, Arkansas several years before moving to Missouri seven years ago. She had a love for animals and enjoyed taking care of her plants, keeping house and playing on the computer.

Nancy Jean Henbest
(October 4, 1933 - November 24, 2011)
Nancy Jean Henbest, age 78, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011, in Cassville Health Care and Rehab.
She was born October 4, 1933, in Springfield, Colorado, the daughter of Lloyd R. and Rena (Powell) Ward. On May 23, 1952, she was united in marriage to Raymond E. Jagger and to this union three sons were born. Raymond preceded her in death on October 11, 1962. On January 29, 1966, she married
James Albert Henbest and to this union one son was born. James passed away September 9, 2008. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Richard Ward and Lloyd Austin Ward.
Surviving are four sons, Raymond Jagger and his wife, Charlene of Kirksville, Missouri, William Jagger and his wife, Dana of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Rick Jagger of Cassville and James E. Henbest of Cynthiana, Kentucky; two sisters, Kathryn Beck of Cassville and Gordona Robbe and her husband, Bill of Pueblo, Colorado; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Nancy grew up and received her education in Springfield, Colorado, where she graduated from high school. She was a dispatcher for the sheriff’s office in Springfield and later became an Avon representative. Throughout her career she received many awards from Avon. Over forty years ago she moved from Springfield to Cassville to make her home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting, knitting and reading.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in Horner cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Bob Neeley will conduct the services.

Halena "Kaye" Long
(January 18, 1954 - December 16, 2011)
Halena “Kaye” (Schnake) Long, age 57, of Cassville, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2011, in her home, after battling cancer.
She was born January 18, 1954, in Verona, Missouri, the daughter of Lloyd John, Sr. and Opal Faye (Witthaus) Schnake. On May 18, 1971, she was united in marriage to Chuck Long, from this union three sons were born. She is survived by her husband, three sons and nine grandchildren: Dean Long and his fiancé Vicki Litchfield and their children Tyler, Dalton, Dustin, Pake and Maddison of Granby, Missouri, Derrik Long and his wife, Karen and their children Kody, Hallie and Kyle and Dustin Long and his wife, Katherine and their son, Mason all of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, John Schnake and his wife, Margie of Pierce City, Missouri; four sisters, Dorothy Doennig, Faye Swearengin and her husband, Bill and Erma Langley all of Ozark, Missouri; Linda Fry and her husband, Jerry of Washburn, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Earl Schnake; one sister, Jean Evans and one nephew, George Schnake.
Kaye who was of the Christian faith attended school at Freistatt, Missouri and graduated from Monett High School in 1972, grew up in the Freistatt area and has lived in Barry County for many years. Over the years Kaye worked at Justin Boot and Wells Hydro. She was a member of the Ride for Life, which raises money for the Kidney Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. She enjoyed riding horses, riding her Harley and spending time with her family and friends. She was like a second mother to several kids and her home was always open to anyone. A special thanks to Sara Lay, Bill Freeman and Danny and Radonna Fancher.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2011, in Faith Worship Center, Aurora, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Arnold Ray Evans and Robert Long will conduct the services. Burial will be in Orange cemetery, Aurora, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

DeElda Mae Brown
(July 1, 1935 - December 16, 2011)
DeElda Mae Brown, age 76, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011, in St. John’s Hospital, Cassville, Missouri.
She was born July 1, 1935, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Michael D. and Bernice (Thompson) See. On December 29, 1956, she was united in marriage to Wayne Lee Ellison and to this union two children were born. On June 24, 1987, in Miami, Oklahoma, she married
Vance Brown, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2006. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Surviving are one son, Wayne L. Ellison, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of McCloud, Oklahoma; one daughter, Cathy Ellison of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; one brother, Max See of Washington, Iowa; one sister, Helen Gildersleeve of Washington, Iowa; seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
DeElda grew up and received her education in Washington, Iowa. In 1969, she moved to the Rocky Comfort area to make her home. She was a member of Chapel of the Ozarks.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Gene Robinson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort cemetery.

Mary Allen Lyon
(June 27, 1935 - December 16, 2011)
Mary Allen Lyon, age 76, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011, in her home.
She was born June 27, 1935, in Palm Desert, California, the daughter of Thomas and Nancy (Stedham) Cornell. On December 24, 1957, in Mexicali, Mexico, she was united in marriage to Billy Joe Lyon, who survives. Mary and Billy have a family of ten children, yours, mine, ours and somebody elses, who also survive. Five sons, Michael Lyon of El Cajon, California, Kerry Hayes of Wheaton, Missouri, Mark Lyon of Tonopah, Arizona, Steven Lyon and his wife, Lee of San Diego, California and Lynni Lyon of Cassville, Missouri; five daughters, Randa Bertram and her husband, Gary of Wheaton, Missouri, Enola Berker and her husband, Robert of Brawley, California, Lori Lyon of Brawley, California, Shawnna Wright and her husband, Michael of Boise, Idaho and Rayni Lyon of Branson, Missouri; three sisters, Verna Stewart and her husband, Edward of Banning, California, Faye McCulley of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Betty Weston of Chino Valley, Arizona; one sister-in-law, Sybil Cornell of Wentworth, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Mary grew up and received her education in California, graduating from high school in El Centro. She loved antiques and old furniture, which led her to own and operate antique stores. Being near water such as the ocean, rivers and lakes was also a life-long joy. First and foremost was her family and she was an avid lover of dogs. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 24, 2011, in the Kingdom Hall at Monett, Missouri. Elder Robert Gray will conduct the services.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.

William "Bill" Andrew Row, Jr.

William Andrew “Bill” Row, Jr., age 61, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011, at the home of his step-daughter in Eagle Rock, Missouri.
He was born in Fredonia, Kansas, on September 29, 1950, the son of William Row, Sr. and Billie (Palmer) Row. He was united in marriage to Karla (Davis) Miner on April 16, 1994.
Bill is survived by his wife, Karla; his mother, Billie Kidd of Fredonia, Kansas; two daughters, Sara Powell and Lori Flores both of Montezuma, Kansas; two step-daughters, Sarah Roper of Eagle Rock, Missouri and Kristin Stettnisch of Cassville; two brothers, Robert Row of Fredonia, Kansas and Jack Row of Golden City, Missouri; one sister, Rosemary Rhodes of London, Arkansas and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Victoria, Zachary, Andie Lee, Danny, Eli, and Sahara.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Margaret Row.
Bill, as most family and friends called him, grew up in Kansas and graduated from Fredonia High School. He continued his education at Missouri Southern Law Enforcement Training at Joplin, Missouri. Bill served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked in law enforcement most of his life and also did horseshoeing for many years. Bill’s greatest love of all was his family.
Memorial services with military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2011, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend Bob Scott will conduct the services.

Michael Ray Priest
(May 13, 1952 - December 18, 2011)
Michael Ray Priest, age 59, of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Longmont United Hospital after multiple health issues.
He was born May 13, 1952, in Springfield, Colorado, to Murl and Wilma (Robb) Priest. In 1971, he graduated from Ulysses High School in Ulysses, Kansas. On May 31, 1980, In Platteville, Colorado, he was united in marriage to Deborah Norgren, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Misty (Douglas) Everett of Youngsville, Louisiana, Sean Priest of Purdy, Missouri, Levi Priest of Ft. Lupton, Colorado and Alexandria Priest of Greeley, Colorado; two grandchildren, Taylor and Aidan Everett of Youngsville, Louisiana; one sister, Murlene Priest of Topeka, Kansas; two brothers, Melvin and Bobby Priest of Wheaton, Missouri and many extended family members.
Michael worked for Amoco, Golden Aluminum, KN Energy and Xcel Energy. Farming, ranching and fishing were some of his favorite pastimes and he especially enjoyed his family and his dog, Porter. He was a retired firefighter for the Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Protection District.
Preceding him in death were his father, Murl Priest and his mother, Laura Lee Troxel.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 7, 2012, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri. Reverend John Duncan will conduct the services. Burial will be in Quaker cemetery, Cassville.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the “Platteville-Gilcrest Fire Department” in memory of Michael.
