FRANCES I. WAGNER
Frances Irene Wagner, 70, Urich, Mo., died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Kansas City.
Mrs. Wagner was born in Independence and had lived in Overland Park, Kan., and Houston, Texas, before moving to Urich in 1981. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton, Mo.
Her survivors include her husband, Jim Wagner of the home; three sons, Mike England Sr., and Gary England, both of Independence, and Jeff Wagner, Miami, Fla.; a daughter, Jan Connor, Great Falls, Mont.; two brothers, K. Fred Heer, Blue Springs, and John Heer, Bentonville, Ark.; a sister, Helen Porter, Overland Park; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Clinton United Methodist Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Englewood cemetery, Clinton. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home.
FERN L. WAX
Fern L. Wax, 69, Independence, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Truman Medical Center.
Her survivors include her husband, Pete Wax of the home; and a daughter, Teresa Cunningham, Independence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Green Lawn cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Lawn Chapel.
IVAN B. IRELAND
Ivan B. Ireland, 69, Blue Springs, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mr. Ireland was born July 30, 1928, in Gallatin, Mo., and had lived in this area for 62 years. He had worked for Continental Baking Co. for 17 years in sales, and as a sales manager. He worked for Gaslight Realty for four years until opening Ireland Real Estate Co. in 1972. He was president of Jackson County Board of Realty in 1975. He was an active member of the Lions Club in Independence. He raised quarter horses on his farm in Grain Valley. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grain Valley.
His survivors include his wife of 48 years, Berniece Ireland of the home; two sons, Daniel Ireland of the home, and Jeffery L. Ireland, Blue Springs; two daughters, Janet D. Gillis, Blue Springs, and Leslie A. Birch, Kansas City; his mother, Opal Ireland; 10 grandchildren, Stephen, Christopher, Ryan, Dustin, Courtney, Tyler, Trevor, Michael, Stephanie and Lauren; and a great-grandchild, Zoe.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Grain Valley, 513 Capelle, Grain Valley. Burial will be in the Blue Springs cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the church. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
RUSSELL D. NORTHCUTT SR.
Russell Daniel Northcutt Sr., 65, Independence, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, at St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mr. Northcutt was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Kansas City. He lived in this area his entire life. He served in the U.S. Army. He was employed for 23 years as foundry supervisor at Prier Brass. He then worked at Easley Plastics, retiring in 1994. He was preceded in death by a son, Russell Northcutt Jr., on Oct. 5, 1994.
His survivors include his wife, JoAnn Northcutt of the home; a daughter, Dana Jensen, Grain Valley; a sister, Julia Bouque, Gladstone, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Miller, Jesse, Jacob and Annie Northcutt, all of Independence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
GAROLD A. SAPP SR.
Garold A. Sapp Sr., 71, Bates City, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mr. Sapp was born Aug. 14, 1926, in Elkton, Mo. He had been employed as a cab driver for Independence Cab Co., until retiring in 1986.
His survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sapp of the home; eight daughters, Teresa Blankenship, Buckner, Vicky Carrott, Montana, Helen Carpenter, Oklahoma, Diane Goppert and Susan Hutton, both of Independence, Tonie Brown, Minnesota, Dorothy Shahan, Oak Grove, and Rhonda Robinson, Kingsville, Mo.; a son, Garold Sapp Jr., Bates City; a brother, Donald D. Sapp, Greenwood, Mo.; a sister, Mary Rose, Independence; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were Sunday at the Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove.
HELEN M. SCHULLER
Helen M. Schuller, 89, Blue Springs, died Friday, July 17, 1998, at St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs.
She was born Nov. 29, 1908, in Jefferson City, Mo. She was a clerk.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John LaLande Catholic Church. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Gethsemane cemetery.
THOMAS R. "TOM" EIDSON
Thomas Ray "Tom" Eidson, 63, Windsor, Mo., died Friday, July 17, 1998, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Mo.
Mr. Eidson was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Camden County, Mo. He was an automotive technician for many years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Windsor, served as a councilman for the city of Windsor for six years, attended schools in Mack`s Creek, Mo., and Windsor, and was an Air Force veteran. He was also a member of the Ararat Shrine, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Kansas City Valley, Windsor Lodge 29 A.F.&A.M., Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge 187, Windsor, American Legion Unit 82, and the Disabled American Veterans.
His survivors include his wife, Carolyn Christy Eidson of the home; two brothers, Leon Eidson and Donald Eidson, both of Windsor; two sisters, Ada May Seaton, Windsor, and Karen Weno, Independence; maternal grandmother, May Eidson, Camdenton, Mo.; eight nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nephews.
Services were today at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial was in Laurel Oak cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the church or the cemetery, in care of the funeral home.

Russell Daniel Northcutt Sr., 65, Independence, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, at St. Mary`s Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mr. Northcutt was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Kansas City, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a foundry supervisor at Prier Brass for 23 years, then worked for Easley Plastics, retiring in 1994. He was an Army veteran. His son, Russell Northcutt Jr., died in 1994.

PAUL A. YEAROUT
Paul A. Yearout, 89, Kansas City, died Sunday, July 19, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center.
Mr. Yearout was born Dec. 28, 1908, in Herington, Kan., and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenter Union Local 61 for more than 50 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mildred Yearout of the home; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Paul D. and Wanda Yearout, Independence, Bobby G. Yearout, Kansas City, Raymond A. and Marie Yearout, Lee`s Summit, and David A. and Tanya Yearout, Kansas City; one brother, William A. "Bill" Yearout, Kansas City; two sisters, Dorothy Butler, Cole Camp, Mo., and Daisy Shaw, Shreveport, La.; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Park Lawn Chapel, Kansas City. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
ALMA F. POOL
Alma Floreine Pool, 91, Odessa, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital of Blue Springs.
Mrs. Pool was born July 10, 1908, in Elmont, Kan. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Adrian, Mo. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Lester Pool in 1934, and her second husband, Glen Leroy Pool in 1989.
Her survivors include a daughter, Alma I. Liley, Independence; a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford L. and Judy Pool, Deltona, Fla.; four grandsons and their wives, Donald L. and Deborah L. McGhee, Michael W. and Valeta A. McGhee, Matthew E. and Lynne Liley, and Clifford Lee Pool; two granddaughters and their husbands, Yvonne E. and Rick Foreman, and Glenda Susann and Rick Vega.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Meriden (Kan.) cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the George C. Carson & Sons Independence Chapel.
SANDRA J. BRITTAIN
Sandra J. Brittain, 64, Independence, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at Research Hospital.
Mrs. Brittain was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Laredo, Mo.
Her survivors include her husband, John Brittain, Independence; three daughters, Diana Warren, Overland Park, Kan., Joyce Freels and Johnna Qualkinbush, both of Blue Springs; two sisters, Debres Cummings, Blue Springs, and Olivia Allen, Raytown; a brother, Roger Davis, Kansas City; and grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jamie Warren, Jennifer, Rachel and Alyssa Freels, and Brandon and Crystal Bray.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the George C. Carson & Sons Independence Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at the chapel.
JAMES E. "JIMMY" WEBB
James Edgar "Jimmy" Webb, 81, Oak Grove, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Webb was born in Oak Grove Oct. 9, 1917, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a farmer and a member of the Broadway Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Elsie B. Webb of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Paula Webb, Oak Grove; one daughter and son-in-law, Berta and Richard Hartup of Ampthill, England; four grandchildren, Boyd L. Harris, Bradley L. Harris, Belle Schultz, Brian J. Snell; and one great-grandson, Shawn Klenke.

Delphia E. Bird, 71, Independence, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at The Groves.
Mrs. Bird was born Nov. 7, 1927, in Tina, Mo. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
Her survivors include her husband, Edward Bird of the home; one son, Glenn H. Bird, Independence; four daughters, Mona A. Lee and Carolyn K. Luttrell, both of Independence, Jeanne M. Westwood, Lone Jack, and Debbie E. Cromley, Blue Springs; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
