Carole June VanHoye of Farmington passed away on April 4, 2004, at Lake Regional Hospital of Osage Beach, at the age of 54 years. She was born on March 4,1950, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Chester and Norma (Hicks) Cornman. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Ray Smith, Sr., sister, Judy Conway and brother, John Cornman. Beloved wife of Victor VanHoye, dearest mother of Leonard Ray Smith, Jr. of Farmington, Scott and Kimberly VanHoye of Wentzville, Sheila and Ray Galvan, Connie and Marty Hodge, both of Farmington, Karen Wadlow of Park Hills, Melinda and Randall Stevens of Annapolis, Becky Smith of Farmington and Christy and Allen Galvan of Park Hills, dear sister of Glenda Hanks, Kathryn Hedgepath, Deborah Elliott, Gail Mackley, Chester Cornman and Darrell Glore. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her church family also survive.
Mrs. VanHoye was a devout member of the East Side Church of God in Leadwood. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

William L. Donnelly

William L. Donnelly of Farmington passed away on April 3, 2004, at his residence at the age of 82 years. He was born on May 15, 1921, in St. Louis, the son of the late John and Goldie (Yeager) Donnelly. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary “Bobbie” Donnelly, by his sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Fred Goforth, and by a brother, Norman. He is survived by four children, Tim and Sheryl Chuchian of Farmington, Dennis Donnelly of St. Louis, Steve and Linda Donnelly of Drexel, and Glen and Annette Sutton of St. Louis. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert and wife Bernice Donnelly of St. Louis and Harold Donnelly of DeSoto, sister-in-law, Evelyn Holland of Farmington, twenty-two grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
Before his retirement, Mr. Donnelly was employed for more than 30 years by the Veterans Administration. He was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church and former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer, Sunday School and Church Training director, and as a deacon. He adored his grandchildren.

Melvin Parrott

Melvin Parrott of Farmington, formerly of Doe Run, passed away on March 29, 2004 at St. Francois Manor, at the age of 83 years. He was born on September 15, 1920, at Fredericktown, the son of the late Earnest E. and Grace F. (Irvin) Parrott. He was also preceded in death by his dear wife of fifty-two years, Essie Mae (Thomas) Parrott, infant son, Norman Earl Parrott, and sister, Hilda Smith. He is survived by two sons, Walter Parrott of the State of Alabama and Darrell Parrott of Doe Run, three daughters, Janet (Mrs. Charles) Skaggs of Doe Run, Nancy (Mrs. Jerry) Hassell of Farmington, and Carol (Mrs. Hank) Meador of Republic, MO, two sisters Nettie Underwood, of Fredericktown and Jean McDaniel of Granite City, IL, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Mr. Parrott served his country proudly in World War II with the U.S. Army. He was awarded three Bronze Stars for the Campaigns including: Luzon, Bismark Archipelago and New Guinea. He also received the following: Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Campaign Ribbon, American Theatre Campaign Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Victory Ribbon, three Overseas Service Bars and a Good Conduct Medal.
He was a member of the VFW Post at Desloge and Carpenter's Union Local 1795. In his spare time Melvin enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, and loved spending time with his family and many friends. He will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Jack Miller of Farmington, formerly of Bismarck, passed away on March 27, 2004, at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Center at Potosi, at the age of 88 years. He was born on May 25, 1916, at Annapolis, the son of the late Cicero and Clursie (Lucy)Miller. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lovel, Cecil, Woodrow and Eddie Miller, and two sisters, Zella Scaggs and Dorothy Markillie. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years and 10 months, Betty J. (Mason) Miller, three daughters, Sandra Fantini, Jacqueline Mueller and Gwendolyn Miller-Ha, two sisters, Carrie Rayfield and Golda Randall, brother, Gene Miller and wife Elizabeth, and five grandchildren, Tracy, Jason, Julie, Jackson and Ariana. He also leaves many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.
During World War II, he served four years and nine months in the Army Anti-Aircraft Division.
Mr. Miller was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 5 for 55 years. He was a great hunter and fisherman.

Ernest P. Neiheiser of Farmington passed away on March 27, 2004, at Presbyterian Manor, at the age of 93 years. He was born on September 18, 1910, in St. Clair, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neiheiser. He was also preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty (Curtis) Neiheiser, son, Eric Neiheiser of Fredericktown and his fiancee Mary Beth Bender of Farmington, granddaughter, Felicia Neiheiser and grandson, Jerome Norton both of the State of Maryland. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
Mr. Neiheiser served his country proudly with the U. S. Army in World War II.

Robert Wayne Cozort, Sr. of Farmington passed away on March 21, 2004, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 53 years. He was born on July 4, 1950, in Long Beach, CA, the son of Patricia (King) Gregory and the late Roy Robert Cozort. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Duke and Allie King, sister, Patty Cozort and daughter, Cassandra Cozort. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Gregory of Riverside, CA, son, “Duke” Robert Wayne Cozort, Jr. of Farmington, two daughters, Shawna Cozort of Desloge and Shantilly Cozort of Bonne Terre, step-son, Tyler Cozort and step-daughter, Shantell Cozort, sister, Nina Cozort of Hanford, CA and favorite sister, Mary Cozort of Riverside,CA,four grandchildren, Miranda Govreau, Kane Moody, Jacob Cozort and Trinity Fiori. Several nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.

Ronald Woodrow Hibbits of Farmington passed away on March 17, 2004, at Harlingen, TX, at the age of 66 years. He was born on August 7, 1937, at Farmington, the son of the late Gussie Woodrow “Woody” and Reva (Byington) Hibbits. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lee (Womack) Hibbits, two sons, Steve Hibbits and Scott Hibbits and wife Molly, all of Farmington, two daughters, Rhonda Hibbits of Springfield, and Laura West of St. Louis, brother, Darrell Hibbits and wife Judieth of Farmington, and two grandchildren, Zachary Hibbits and Halle Hibbits. Also surviving, one niece, two nephews, several cousins and many cherished friends.
Mr. Hibbits was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. He was also a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge #1765, the St. Francois Country Club and Laborers Local #916.

Kenneth “Randy” Raggo of Farmington passed away on March 17, 2004, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, at the age of 47 years. He was born on July 2, 1956, in St. Louis, the son of Kenneth N. Raggo and Ramona (Boomershine) Amell. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Mae Raggo. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Colleen (Patrick) Raggo, six children, Crystal R. Raggo Stevens, Kimberly D. Raggo, Jason R. Raggo, Zachary J. Shaw, Josh R. Lawler and Thomas M. Lawler, sister, Mona S. Capkovic, two brothers, Paul H. Raggo and Ray Baker, and four grandchildren, Madison, Jonathan, Joshua and Jacob. Several other relatives and many friends also survive.

Joshua Owen Kennedy, beloved son and brother, of Farmington passed away on March 17, 2004, at the age of 21 years, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on September 12, 1982, beloved son of Ralph and Penny (Kennedy) Fulk. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Eva Fulk. Beloved brother of Lucas Fulk and Emmili Fulk, both of the home, and dearly loved grandson of Troy and Gloria Kennedy of Farmington. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

Sitler and the late Betty (Heintzelman) Sitler. He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Ransom) Sitler, father, Richard L. Sitler of Callahan, FL, step-daughter, Amy Johnson of the home, brother, Brian Sitler and wife Debbie of Callahan, FL, sister, Susan Deyo and husband Ed of Jacksonville, FL, three nieces, Pam (Mrs. Corky) Harvey, Jennifer (Mrs. Kenny) Guthrie and Sheila (Mrs. Todd) Plunk, all of Jacksonville, FL. Gene Antoinette Lockridge of Farmington passed away on March 16, 2004, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 75 years. She was born on May 26, 1928, at Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late Eugene E. and Wilma (Beckerman) Wilder. She is survived by her husband, George Lockridge, daughter, Linda L. Patton and husband Andy of St. Louis, sister, Sue McCormick of Montgomery, AL, two grandchildren, Jessica of New Jersey and Evan of Seattle, WA, and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Lockridge was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington. In 1993, she retired as the Director of Nursing at Farmington Community Hospital, having served in that position for 23 years.
