He is survived by his wife, Mariedta (Rita) Presson, by two sons, James Presson and wife Christla of Farmington, Curtis Presson and wife Judy of Wentzville, by a daughter, Sharon (Mrs. Charles (Bud) Kauffmann of St. Louis County, by a sister, Lorraine (Mrs. Gene) Wigger of Park Hills, by six step-children, by twenty-one grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive
He also served his nation with the U.S. Army during World War II
Before his retirement, Mr. Presson worked for the Wagner Electric Company as a machinist

Marie Thurman Elsie Marie Thurman of Farmington passed away on August 9, 2001, at the Parkland Health Center. She was born on September 29, 1918, at Bonne Terre, the daughter of the late George W. and Martha (Pinkston) Richardson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Fred Dennis Thurman, by a daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Maxson) Thurman, by two brothers, John and Damon Richardson, and by three sisters, Leona Pinkston, Pearl Bouchard, and Virgil Hubbard. Before her retirement she worked for P. N. Hirsch Clothing Store as a clerk. She was also a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and of the Eastern Star of Farmington. She is survived by her husband, Fred Thurman, by a son, Robert Thurman and wife Donna, by a sister, Goldie Mackley, by a daughter-in-law, Terri Thurman, all of Farmington, by four grandchildren, Kara Sue Thurman of Marshall, MO, Kevin Thurman and wife Karri of Farmington, Jody (Mrs. Doug) Hahn of Imperial, and Kelli (Mrs. Alex) Freitas of St. Charles, and by six great-grandchildren, Evan, Riley, and Sophi Thurman and Alison, Hannah, and Grant Freitas. Friends may call at the Cozean Funeral Home after 6 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2001. Funeral services will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Three Rivers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Reva Chapman, by three daughters, Barbara June Chapman, Corlis Gail Chapman both of Las Vegas, NV, and Patricia Ann Bigby of, by two step-daughters, and one special nephew, Dan Chapman of St. Louis. Many other nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
He served his nation with the U.S. Army during World War II.
Before his retirement, Mr. Chapman worked for the Trimfoot Shoe Company as a machine operator. He was also a member of the VFW Post 5896 and the American Legion

One niece, two nephews, and many friends also survive.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Buckley worked for the Biltwell Clothing Store as a sales person. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years.

Mrs. Gallagher worked for Fortune Properties as a real estate broker in Anchorage, Alaska for many years before moving to Farmington

She was the owner and operator of Thomure’s Disposal Service and a long - term member of the Doe Run Assembly of God
