passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Emerald Crest in Shakopee, MN

Born March 9, 1917 in Glenwood, MN to parents Edward and Ann (Pladsen) Erno

She married Walter J. Scanlan on July 3, 1937 in Detroit, MI.

Loved and forever missed by children: Patrick (Gretchen) Scanlan of Golden Valley, MN, Michael Scanlan of Jordan, Tom (Chong) Scanlan of Eddy, TX, Susan (Roger) Pieper of Shakopee, Cathy (Artemerio) Rico of Mexico, Laurie (John) Williams of Shakopee, Carole (Mike) Maxwell of New Prague; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Simpson of CA; sister-in-law, Caryl Erno of Idaho

Preceded by: her husband, Walter; parents, brothers Lester and Yernon Erno

Visitation: Saturday, April 19, 2008, 11:00—12:30, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Shakopee, MN

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, April 19th, 1:00 PM, Church of St. Mary, Shakopee

Margaret enjoyed sports especially the Minnesota teams: MN Twins, Vikings, Gophers and Tiger Woods

Pallbearers: Zachary Gove, Ann Stafford, Megan Maxwell, Grant Maxwell, Amy Beer, Elizabeth Williams, Kristin Williams

Final Resting place will be Credit River cemetery, Credit River Township, MN

Henry “Hank” Walter Stock

Henry “Hank” Walter Stock, age 78 of Prior Lake passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 15th

Henry was born April 18, 1929 at Appleton, MN. His parents were Watler & Helen (Zager) Stock

Henry married Lillie (Schultz) Stock November 14, 1949 at Shible Immanuel Lutheran Church in Appleton, MN

He is survived by wife Lillie, children Kathy Tonne of Prior Lake. David ( Kim) Stock of Prior Lake, grandchildren Jason (Jennifer) Doble, Tara Stock, Trudi Stock, Trina Stock, great-grandchildren Samantha & James Doble, brothers & sisters Bernice (Harold) Van Winkle of Appleton, MN, Irene (Floyd) Johnson of Prior Lake, Harry (Betty) Stock of Appleton, MN, Wally (Julie) Stock of Prior Lake, brother-in law Wayne (Ardelle) Rohloff of Morris, MN, sister-in law Elly Rakowski of Appleton, MN.

He is preceded by parents Walter & Helen (Zager) Stock, sister Vera Rohloff.

After marriage Hank & Lillie took over the Stock farm & operated it for 10 years. Then he worked 30 years at Continental Machines. After retirement from Continental Machines he drove Bus for the Prior Lake School District. Hank loved fishing, hunting and going back to the farm.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 17th, 4 till 8 PM at Ballard– Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake. There also will be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to services.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, April 18th, 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake. With the Reverend John P. Vaughn presiding.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Van Winkle, Doug Johnson, Barry Stock, Lee Stock, Jerry Rakowski, Lanny Rohloff.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran cemetery in Prior Lake.

Funeral arrangements by Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake.

Barbara K. Pals

Barbara K. Pals, age 69 of Shakopee passed away on Wednesday, April 9th at Friendship Manor Care Center in Shakopee.

Barbara was born September 8th, 1938 at Belmont, IA. Her parents were Weston and Ada (Shahan) Hughes.

Barbara married Larry Palls on June 9th, 1956 at Belmont, Iowa. Larry died November 11, 1999.

Loved and forever missed by children Brian (Janice) Pals of Shakopee, Michael (Patricia) Pals of Brooklyn Park, Cynthia (Michael Kutscher) Pals of Shakopee, grandchildren Steven Pals, Kelly Pals, Courtney Skomars, Amanda Pals, Andrew Kutscher, Nicole Kutscher, Natalie Kutscher, brothers & sisters Gary (Jo) Hughes of Arizona, Lee (Phyllis) Hughes of, Iowa, Lyle (Margaret) Hughes of Iowa, Virginia Mennenga of New Jersey, Linda (Gene) Helland of Iowa, Keith (Suzette) Hughes of Iowa, Paul (Judy) Hughes of Iowa, Becky (Steve) Frerichs of Iowa, Darwin Hughes of Wisconsin, sister-n law Marilyn (Ray) Horstman of Forest Lake. Many Nieces, Nephews & Relatives.

Barbara is preceded by her husband Larry Pals, daughter Karen Pals, parents Weston & Ada Hughes, sister Lola May Hughes, sister-in law Joann Hughes, brother– in Law Kyle Mennenga.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 4 till 7 PM at Ballard– Sunder Funeral Home in Shakopee. There also will be visitation 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.

Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, April 12, 11 AM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Chapel, 833 South Marschall Road, Shakopee, MN 55379.

Final Resting Place will be at Valley cemetery in Shakopee.

Darin Landreville

Darin Landreville, age 45 of Los Angeles, CA, passed away April 8, 2008. Survived by parents, Roger & Marilyn Landreville; sisters, Kim Landreville and Kristin Landreville, and many relatives. Private memorial service will be held at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis. Memorials are preferred to the Diabetes Foundation, 2626 E. 82nd St., Bloomington, MN 55425. Evelyn E. Pitschneider

Evelyn E. Pitschneider, age 92 of Shakopee passed away on Saturday, April 5th at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.

Born June 10, 1915 in Jackson Township, MN to parents, Anton and Anna (Unterburger) LaTour.

She married Maurice H. Pitschneider on Nov. 14, 1934 at St. Mark’s Church, Shakopee. Maurice passed away February 1999.

Loved and forever missed by daughter Mona (Leon) Riesgraf of Chaska, son Mitz (Karen) Pitschneider of Jordan, nephew Leon Pitschneider of Shakopee, 4 grandchildren: Roger Riesgraf, Tammy Richmond, Penny Bartsch, Elizabeth Sipe, 7 great grandchildren, Charity Riesgraf, Eli Riesgraf, Caileigh Richmond, Courtney Richmond, Brooke Bartsch, Madison Sipe, Cavanaugh Sipe; brother: Donald (Mary) LaTour of Shakopee, sister, Bernie Thomas of Chaska; brother-in-law, Ed Wicklund of St. Louis Park, sister-in-law, Marie LaTour of Shakopee; many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandchild, Robin Pitschneider; brothers, Rhubert LaTour, Anthony LaTour; sister, Juliann Wicklund; brother-in-law, Alvin Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008, 9:30 -11:00 AM, Church of St. Mark, Shakopee, MN. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM

Final Resting Place will be Calvary cemetery, Jordan

Evelyn was a member of Shakopee Senior Citizens, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, St. Mark’s Ladies Auxillary, and CCW. She loved to play cards and enjoyed sewing fancywork and reading.

Pallbearers will be Tom Pitschneider, Daniel LaTour, John LaTour, Roger LaTour, Ken Thomas, Mark Wicklund

Roman R. Radermacher

Roman Radermacher, 96 of Jordan, MN died peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Gertrude’s Care Center, Shakopee, MN.

Roman was born October 24, 1911 at New Market, MN to Frank & Susan (Mahowald) Radermacher. He was married to Andrina Weckman on October 15, 1935 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan.

He is survived by wife Andrina Radermacher, children Lee (Marilyn) Radermacher, Kitty (Pat) Dolan, Sue (David) Suman, Mary (Joe) Benko, Allie (Bob) Cronk, Nancy Busch, Chipper (Todd) Perkins, Frank (Mari) Radermacher, 32 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, brothers & sisters Myron (Cathy) Radermacher, Agnes Sweiger, Harriet Boetcher, Ruth Giehtbrock, Roger (Jo) Grommesch, Evie (Norb) Wesley, Marie Daigle.

Visitation will be Monday, April 7th, 4 till 8 PM and also 1 hour prior to Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 8th, 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan.

Burial will be at Calvary cemetery in Jordan. Pallbearers are Steve Radermacher, John Dolan, Nancy Wickard, Jenny Newton, Ramsey Cronk, Matt Busch, Scott Quisling & Jamee Stasik

Roman owned and operated Red Owl in Jordan. He was a member of the Catholic Aid Society, the Jordan Commercial Club, the Knight of Columbus, the Jordan Fire Department & the Scott County Fair Board.

Roman enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening and card playing.

Memorials are preferred to St. John’s Catholic School.

Roman came to Jordan in 1933 and worked as a bookkeeper for his father-in-law, Jacob Weckman at Scott County Oil Co. which he later bought with Pete Pauly. In 1954, he bought the Red Owl Business on Water Street. Another change came in 1960 when he moved the store to a building he bought from Loren Habegger on First Street. Roman later bought and built on the property on 2nd Street (current post office). Roman retired in 1973.
