Raymond H. Kutsi, 72, of Virginia died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in the Virginia Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 18 of Duluth.
Private family services were held Saturday at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia.
Anne Louise Marchand
Anne Louise Marchand, 45, of Grand Marais died Sunday, May 6, 2001.
She was born to Hildur (Bard) and W. Andrew Hedstrom in Grand Marais on June 30, 1955.
Anne graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in forest products.
She is survived by children David, Justin and Emily Bartz, and Franklin and Shelley Foster; brothers Tom Hedstrom, Jack (Gail) Hedstrom, and Howard (Bonnie Gay) Hedstrom, all of Grand Marais; plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Service: 1 p.m. Saturday in the First Congregational Church of Grand Marais. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery preceding the service. Gifts will be directed to an account to support Anne's children.
Bernie Max Gors
Bernie Max Gors, 99, of Cloquet passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2001, in the Cloquet Nursing Home.
Bernie was born March 6, 1902, in South Dakota to John and Minnie (Nielsen) Gors. He lived most of his life in Brookston and farmed for a living.
Bernie is preceded in death by brothers Frank and Edgar; sisters Frances Nielsen, Violet Bekker and Esther Merrier.
He is survived by his one remaining sister, Edith Blesener; three nieces; six nephews; 18 grandnieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation: noon until the 1 p.m. service Saturday in Wefelmeyer-Handevidt Funeral Home, 1506 Washington Ave., Cloquet. Private interment in Hillcrest cemetery.
Christian "Chrissie" D. Harrington
Christian "Chrissie" D. Harrington, 93, of Ranier, Minn., died Tuesday, May 8, 2001.
He is survived by his sons James, Carl and Curtis Ysen and daughters Genieveve Ziemba and Dot Glowack.

Lenore M. Steager
Lenore M. Steager, 81, of Coleraine died Monday, May 7, 2001, in the Itasca Medical Center.
Born Nov. 10, 1919, in Chisholm, she was the daughter of Alexander and Anna Hill. She grew up and lived in Chisholm, Blackberry and Grand Rapids, before moving to the Coleraine-Bovey area. She graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 1938. She married
Robert Steager on Jan. 11, 1941.
Lenore was a member of the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Coleraine, Council of Catholic Women, St. Catherine's Circle, and a volunteer worker at the Itasca Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; a daughter, Roberta Frances; a sister, Sylvia; and brothers Art, Al, George, John and Ernie.
She is survived by daughters Barbara Nelson of Grand Rapids, Roberta (James) Serich of Bovey and Marjorie (Duane) Bartz of Algona, Iowa; a son, James Steager of Proctor; six grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Pleszak of St. Paul; and several special nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. Friday in Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Coleraine, the Rev. Father Lloyd Mudrak officiating. Interment in Lakeview cemetery, Coleraine. Arrangements by Peterson Funeral Chapel, Coleraine.
Edwin "Bud" Roehr Sr.
Edwin "Bud" Roehr Sr., 77, of Barnes died Monday, May 7, 2001, in St. Mary's Hospital of Superior.
He is survived by his wife, Arline; sons Edwin Jr. (Tracey) and Richard (Beverly); a daughter, Barbara (Frank) Plachy; three grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. today in Brown Funeral Home, Solon Springs, and continues 10 until the 11 a.m. celebration of life service Friday in Barnes Community Church. Interment in Barnes Memorial cemetery.
Angele J. Haugen
Angele J. Haugen, 74, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Monroe, N.C., after a long illness.
Mrs. Haugen was born in Calumet on June 6, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Caroline Crottier. She was a 1944 graduate of Greenway High School, Coleraine, and also attended the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis. She and her late husband, Thomas L. Haugen, who died in 1987, owned and operated several Duluth travel agencies. She retired in 1990 the Minnesota Timber Producers Association, where she had worked since 1974. In 1995, she moved to the retirement community of Velda Rose in Mesa, Ariz., where she lived until April 2000, when she moved to Monroe.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Marcia (Arnold) Austin of Monroe; a son, Thomas (Edie) Haugen of Mesa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday in Sunrise Memorial Park Chapel with inurnment to follow. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110. Arrangements by National Cremation Service, Charlotte, NC.
Pearl Rosette Addleman
Pearl Rosette Addleman, 65, of Esko died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1935, in Winona, Minn. to Carl and Violet (Betts) Buggs. She grew up in Winona and married
Lawrence Addleman on Aug. 6, 1953. They lived in the Twin Cities from 1962 until 1966, at which time they moved to Esko.
Pearl enjoyed crocheting and doing art and craft projects.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Buggs.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of Esko; sons Tim (Shirley) of Barnum and Dennis (Sharon) of Mississippi; her mother, Violet Ives of Cochran, Wisc.; brothers Tom (Pam) Buggs of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Charlie (Betty) Buggs of Hastings, Minn.; sisters Pat Ives of Cochran, Wis., and Dolly (Al) Wilson of West St. Paul; and five grandchildren.

Adine Charlotte Wild, 86, of Virginia, formerly of Aurora, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, in Arrowhead Health Care Center in Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George King; her second husband, Carl Wild; a son, James; a brother, Howard; and a grandson, Justin King.
