Eric John Paul Halvorson, 26, formerly of Winona, died Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato, MN.

Pratt, Stephanie Marie
Stephanie Marie Pratt, infant daughter of Curtis James and Geraldine Marie (Devine) Pratt, 652 East Broadway, was stillborn on Monday, February 21, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital.
Services were held Wednesday, February 23 at the Pleasant Valley Evangelical Free Church. Officiating was Rev. Rick Iglesias. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
Bambenek, Sister Felicia SSND
Sister Felicia Bambenek SSND, 84, died Sunday, February 6, 2000 at Good Counsel Convent, Mankato, MN.
Services were held Saturday, February 12, at Good Counsel Chapel, with Rev. Ted Hottinger, SJ officiating. Burial was in Good Counsel Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary handled burial arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Good Counsel Health Care.
Sister Felicia (Florence Bambenek) was born to Joseph and Mary Bambenek at Winona. She entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1934 and took her vows in 1937. She received a bachelor's degree in music from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She had been a piano teacher at Good Counsel for the past 27 years. She was a member of Minnesota Music Teachers' Association, The National Federation of Music Clubs and Minneapolis Music Forum.
Members of the Metropolitan Boys' Choir of Minneapolis under the direction of Bea Hasselman sang hymns during the funeral service. Mr. Norman Hasselman played the trumpet during the service. Piano students of Sister Felicia carried up musical symbols during the Offertory Procession. The Boys' Choir and Mr. Hasselman gave a final musical tribute at the Good Counsel Cemetery.
Sister Felicia is survived by four sisters, Sister Marilyn and Sister Joel, both of Good Counsel, Connie Kiedrowski of Galesville, WI, and Martha Wilson of Carmichael, CA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Bambenek of Winona.
Burmeister, Ralph Edward
Ralph Edward Burmeister, of Sauer Memorial Home, died Friday, February 25, 2000.
Ralph, a lifelong Winona resident, was born May 26, 1936. His parents were Fred and Leona (Stuhr) Burmeister, who preceded him in death.
God granted Ralph a full life in a caring community of family, church, friends and neighbors, special teachers and social workers and finally, caregivers.
He is survived by one brother, Richard W. (Doris) Burmeister, Goodview, MN..
The funeral will be held at Goodview Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, February 28 with pre-service visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the service at 10:30 a.m., with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Goodview Trinity, Sauer Memorial Home and the Winona DAC.

Halvorson, Eric John Paul
Eric John Paul Halvorson, 26, formerly of Winona, died Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at Immanual St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato, MN.
Eric is the son of John "Jack" and Sue Halvorson, born on October 17, 1973 in Winona. He is a graduate of Winona Senior High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a B.A. in 1998.
He had been a beverage trainer for Cactus Pete's Hotel and Resort in Jackpot, Nevada.
Eric is survived by his parents, Jack and Sue Halvorson of Burnsville, MN; a brother, Brian Halvorson of Burnsville; paternal grandmother, Ruth Benson of Apple Valley, MN; and his maternal grandparents, Conrad and Catherine Kreidermacher, Altura, MN.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Halvorson.
A Funeral Mass for Eric will be held on Sunday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winona, with Rev. James Hennessy officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Winona.
Friends may call at the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. where there will be a family prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call on Sunday up to the time of the preliminary services at 1:30 p.m.
Casketbearers are Rich Burr, Damon Anderson, Jeremy Judy, Jeff Vranak, Bart Fansler and Dan Blank.
A memorial is being arranged.

Burkholz, Lorayne Louise
Lorayne Louise Burkholz, 92, of the C&R Unit of Community Memorial Hospital, Winona, and formerly of Milwaukee, WI, died Tuesday, February 29, 2000 in Winona.
Lorayne was born February 21, 1908 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Mary (Schubring) and Arthur Philip Senft. She married Bernhard F. Burkholz on June 25, 1927 at Siloah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Bernhard died in 1980. She moved to Winona in 1988.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winona, and its Ladies Aid and the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Miesbauer of Winona; two grandchildren, Steven (Vicki) Miesbauer, Clemson, SC and Alison (Tom) Plemmons of Winona; four great-grandchildren, Mark and Jeffrey Miesbauer and Andrew and Melissa Plemmons; and one sister-in-law, Lillian Senft, Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ray, and a son-in-law, R.E. "Rudy" Miesbauer.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 2 at the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home. Burial was in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, WI.
Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church or to the C&R Unit of Community Memorial Hospital.

Vondrashek, Irene L.
Irene L. Vondrashek, 94, died Monday, February 28, 2000 at St. Anne Hospice.
She was born June 4, 1905 in Winona to Thomas H. and Regina (Miller) Vondrashek.
Prior to her retirement, Irene was employed at the J. R. Watkins Company for 42 years. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Parish.
She is survived by a sister, Grace V. Edel of Fountain City, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Thursday, March 2 at St. John Nepomucene Church with Rev. Robert G. Meyer officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
