Marlene Georjean (Walberg) Ryti
Marlene G. Anderson Ryti, age 75, of Annandale, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Rev. Peter J. Martinson will officiate and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Marlene Georjean Ryti was born on April 28, 1937 in Minneapolis to Clarence and Ellen (Buranen) Walberg. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis. On November 28, 1980, she was united in marriage to Leslie Ryti at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale. Marlene was a homemaker and worked at the Red Owl Bakery in Annandale. She enjoyed being outside, going to the lake, watching the birds, going to the casino, playing bingo and cards, watching the Minnesota Vikings and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Jeri (Mark) Nyren of Annandale, Jackie (significant other Mickey Snabb) of Annandale, Joel (Robin) Anderson of Fridley and Jill Anderson of Buffalo; step child Patricia Ryti; 8 grandchildren Julie (Joe), Shana (Jason), Danielle (Tyler), Jennifer, Kory, Samantha, Megan and Andy; eight great grandchildren; sisters in law Jeanette Walberg of Maple Lake and Jan Walberg of Annandale. Marlene is preceded in death by her husband Leslie; parents Clarence and Ellen; daughter Jan Olson; and brothers Ron and Gary Walberg.
The urn bearer will be Joel Anderson. Honorary urn bearers will be Julie Jablonski, Shana Gemaehlich, Danielle Anderson and Jennifer Olson. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services, Annandale.
Howard Gale Ingles
Howard G. Ingles, age 51, of Waverly died suddenly on Monday, February 11, 2013 in Faribault.
Funeral Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be 10:15 a.m., Friday at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, assembly area 4.
Howard Gale Ingles was born June 15, 1961 in Galesburg, Illinois to Terry and Sandra (Scholl) Ingles. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1979. Howard enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as an M.P. in Germany and finished his duty at Ft. Snelling. On April 11, 1992 he was united in marriage to Tracy Aurentz Stroud at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in rural Annandale. Howard went back to school and graduated from St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in Graphic Design in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, boating and making his family happy.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy; children Brandon (Lisa) Stroud of Annandale, Ivy (Jeremy) Marquette of Becker, Khristeen (Shawn) Smith of Forest Lake and Jayme Ingles of Forest Lake; mother, Sandra Ingles of Abbington, IL; grandchildren Jade, Christian, Taryn, Megan, Jocellynne and Colten; brothers and sisters Lynne (Chris) Spring, Kevin Ingles, Brian (Sara) Ingles, Michael (Jenny) Ingles, Matthew Ingles and Kristi (Jeff) Kramer, all of the of Galesburg, IL area. He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Ingles.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Stroud, Jeremy Marquette, Shawn Smith, Kevin Ingles, Brian Ingles, Michael Ingles and Matthew Ingles. Lisa Stroud and Sharon Planer will provide the music for the service. The Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will provide Military Honors at the cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
Bernadette Betty (Nathaniel) Johnson
Bernadette B. Johnson, age 66, of Annandale died Friday, February 1, 2013 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.
Memorial Services will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale. Deacon Ronald Freeman will officiate and Brian Johnson will give the Eulogy. Friends may call from 3:00 - 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bernadette Betty Poli Johnson was born January 21, 1947 in Hilo, HI to Harry and Katherine (Nascimento) Nathaniel. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Hilo with the Class of 1965. On March 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to Ronald Allan Johnson at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church in Honolulu, HI. Bernie worked as a cosmetologist at Honolulu Salon for 7 years and as a para professional at Annandale Schools for 20 years. She enjoyed taking trips to Hawaii, spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends.
Bernie is survived by her husband Ron; sons Brian & his wife Melissa of Big Lake and Keola of Ningbo, China; two grandchildren Noah and Malia Johnson; brothers and sister Harry of Spokane, WA Violet (Conrad) Nathaniel of Hilo, HI and Frank (Cheryl) Nathaniel of San Antonio, TX; and sister-in-law Betty Nathaniel of Honolulu, HI. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry & Katherine Nathaniel and brother, Richard Nathaniel.
Fern Francis (Repke) Rhoe
Fern F. Rhoe, age 90, of Annandale died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Annandale Care Center.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with Funeral Services held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. The Rev. Martin Langemo will officiate and burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale.
Fern Francis Rhoe was born June 19, 1922 in Silver Creek Township, Wright County to Julius Ernest and Daisy Mae (Sutton) Repke. She was raised on a farm in Silver Creek Township and graduated from Annandale High School in 1941. She married Gilbert Frank Rhoe on February 28, 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1993. She was a homemaker, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Quilting Group, and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She enjoyed sewing, canning, cooking, baking, fishing, the cabin near Cass Lake, & gardening, and loved to share her produce with family, friends & neighbors.
She is survived by her children Dale (Carol) Rhoe of Osceola, WI, Joyce Wadman of Annandale, Renea (Brian) Miller of Kansas City, KS, grandchildren Michael, Janell, Christopher, Becky, Jeffrey, Peter, Steven, Erin, & Nathan, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters Ione Fowlwick of Blaine, Lila Paumen of Annandale, and brother Russell (Sandra) Repke of Clearwater. She was preceded in death by her husband, son in law Lanny Wadman, brother Donald Repke, and sisters Ellen Klemz, Gail Wipper, June Wipper, Lois Wipper, & Ruby Steiskal.
The pallbearers will be Kevin Olson, Peter & Steven Wadman, Nathan Miller, Christopher & Jeffrey Gilchrist. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Edith Marie (Hines) Hoffman
Edith M. Hoffman, age 95, of Annandale died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake with Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Edith Marie Hoffman was born June 27, 1917 in Rockford to Fred and Josephine (Carpenter) Hines. She married Erwin C. Hoffman on January 22, 1938 and for the next 40 years they farmed in Albion Township, Wright County. Edith would proclaim that when she married Erwin and the birth of each of her children were the greatest moments of her life. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2008 concluding their 70 years of faithful marriage. Edith was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, the Women’s Guild, & Annandale VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, crocheting, dancing, and most of all spending time with family & friends.
She is survived by children Sandra (Charles) Julian of Hutchinson, Larry (Marlene) Hoffman of Annandale, Jerry (Catherine) Hoffman of Sherwood, OR, Carol (Al) Mattila of Annandale, Cindy (Chris) Reuter of Maple Grove, Shelly (Jeff) Lersch of Monticello, sisters in law Evelyn Mosher of Buffalo, Laura Nieson of Watertown, brother in law Ronald Hoffman of Annandale, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Al & Bill Hines, sisters Myrtle Wright, Dorothy Elfstrand, & Marge Bagley, and sister in law Virginia Sullivan.

Timothy George Lantto
Timothy G. Lantto, age 60, of Elk River died Monday, December 10, 2012 at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice, Brooklyn Park.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, French Lake Township, Wright County with Rev. Edward Groop officiating and burial following at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church.
Timothy George Lantto was born May 23, 1952 in St. Cloud to George and Irene (Forare) Lantto and graduated from Annandale High School in 1970. He married Pamela J. Miller on September 20, 1975 and for the past 19 years they have lived at Elk River. He worked as a carpenter for Osborne Construction in Plymouth the past 9 years and previously for Proco Construction in Osseo. He was a member of the Carpenter Union and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and time spent at the Lake and with family & friends.
He is survived by his wife Pamela of Elk River, children & their spouses Charlene & Ryan Streifel of Lakeville, Joshua & Elizabeth Lantto of Maple Grove, granddaughter Natalie Streifel, brothers Todd (Gayle) of Chanhassen, Curt (Chris) of Chaska, Tom (Lilia) of Buffalo, sisters in law Marcia Lantto of Buffalo, Gerry Lantto of Golden Valley, mother in law Lorraine Miller of Annandale, sister & brother in law Gloria & Les Nelson of Maple Grove, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paul & Joe, and father in law Russel Miller.
The pallbearers will be Joshua Lantto, Ryan Streifel, Les Nelson, Curt Lantto, Todd Lantto, and Dave Lantto. The organist will be Margaret Groop and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Martin Joseph Mooney
Martin J. Mooney, age 59, of South Haven and formerly of Maple Lake, died at his home on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Marty died the way he lived his life, gracefully, quietly and with great dignity.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as the Celebrant. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 9-10 a.m. Friday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Martin Joseph Mooney was born April 22, 1953 in St. Cloud to Clayton and Helen (Happe) Mooney. He graduated from Maple Lake High School with the class of 1971 and went on to Anoka Technical College where he received a degree in Heavy Auto Mechanics in 1973. On June 8, 1985, Marty was united in marriage to Jill Farrell at their farm in South Haven. Marty and his brother, Phil, owned and operated Mooney Bus Service in Maple Lake for 29 years. He formerly served as a volunteer firefighter with the Maple Lake Fire Department. Marty enjoyed his hobby farm, where he was a bee keeper, raised sheep, chickens, a turkey, a cow, two llamas, a goat and two pigs. He loved to ride is Harley Davidson motorcycle and he especially loved his family. Marty was a quiet, humble and gentle man.
He is survived by his wife Jill of South Haven; son Joe of Mankato; daughter Sarah (Jeremy) Nelson of Hutchinson; granddaughter Morgan Nelson; mother Helen Mooney of Monticello; brothers and sisters Raymond (Gloria) of St. Michael, Alice Shafer of Annandale, Phil (Theresa) of Maple Lake, Pat (Eileen) of Clear Lake, Lori (James) Buckholz of Burnsville and Carmen (Ken) Prine of Katy, TX. He is preceded in death by his father Clayton.
The urnbearer will be Jim Kojola. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
Donald William Anderson
Donald W. Anderson, age 78, of Annandale died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, French Lake Township, Wright County. Friends may call at the Church from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and also one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Donald William Anderson was born April 27, 1934 at Dassel to William and Dorothy (Gobel) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1952. He then served as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. He married LaVerna Opsahl on June 29, 1957 and they lived in St. Louis Park before moving to Annandale in 1971. Don was a foreman and supervisor of tool & die at Safetran Systems in Fridley for 44 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, making rugs, and time spent with his family especially the grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife LaVerna, sons Steve & Tom (Jackie), grandchildren Nichole, Brandon, Morgan & Alyssa, all of Annandale, brother Jerry (Mary) of Osceola, WI, and nephews Joe & David (Kristy).
The pallbearers will be Dave Linn, Jeff & John Nicka, Paul Waataja, John Fink, and Jim Marohn. Don's grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Ruth Agnes (Kaiser) Wolf
Ruth A. Wolf, age 83, of Annandale died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis after a massive stroke.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Pastor Dave Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the funeral home.
Ruth Agnes Wolf was born April 19, 1929 in Columbia Heights to Charles and Nettie (Meachum) Kaiser. She married Clarence Henry Wolf on November 3, 1951 in New Brighton. Ruth worked as a factory worker at Fabritech in Cokato and Universal Circuits in Buffalo. She enjoyed bowling, painting and sewing.
Ruth is survived by her daughter & her husband Sandee & Joe Byrd of Annandale; grandson John Paul Wurzinger II; sister Phylis Mecuro of Waseca; brother Duane DeMars of White Bear Lake; and sister in law Audrey Kaiser. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence; daughter Darla Jean Wolf; son Timothy John Wolf; and brother Charles Kaiser.
Erma Helen (Richman) Stevens
Erma H. Stevens, age 93 of South Haven, formerly of Redfield SD & Tower City, ND, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 28, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 411 Becker Ave SW, Willmar, MN with Pastor Mari Thorkelson officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Buffalo Cemetery in Buffalo, ND. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services.
Erma Helen Stevens was born on February 6, 1919 in Tower City, ND to William and Dora (Bruns) Richman. Erma grew up in Tower City, ND. She was united in marriage to Allan Clayton Stevens on October 11, 1938 in Sisseton, SD. Erma was a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed many church activities at Messiah Lutheran Church in Redfield, SD. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, socializing, gaming, & spending time at Cotton Lake. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Robert (Karen) of Sioux Falls, SD, Gerald (Mary) of Faulkton, SD, Douglas (Deb) of Lakeville, MN, Michael of South Haven, MN and James (Sandra) of St. Louis Park, MN; sister Darlene Iverson of Mound, MN; brother John Richman of Tower City, ND; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents William & Dora; husband Allan; grandson Ladell Thomas Stevens; brothers William, Werner, and George Richman; and sister Esther Zimmerman.
Deborah Faye (Anderson) Sorgert
Deborah F. Sorgert, age 56, of Annandale died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasantview Cemetery, Annandale. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Deborah Faye Sorgert was born December 5, 1956 to Allen and Johnnie (Hunter) Anderson in Duluth and graduated from Hermantown High School in 1975. She married Paul E. Sorgert on March 7, 1986 and she worked for Nash-Finch in St. Cloud. She was a member of Annandale Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed bowling, crocheting, sports, camping, being on the Lake, and spending time with family & friends.
She is survived by her husband Paul of Annandale, daughters & their husbands Brandy & Isreal Hoffman of Kansas City, MO, Kristy & Adam Fieldseth of Princeton, Reinell & Jackson Helstad of South Haven, Kelly & Matt Dvorak of Milroy, Stacy & Dan Lorentz of Big Lake, 9 grandchildren Sadie, Raven, A.J., & Ava Hoffman, Jaeden Fieldseth, Anna, Oscar, Lizzy, & Elijah Helstad, parents Allen & Johnnie Anderson of Duluth, and sister Linda Tallakson & her husband Bruce of Duluth.
