Mary Ann Riesgraf
Mary Ann ‘Mitzi’ Riesgraf, age 81, of Maple Lake passed away peacefully on June 18, 2010.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, Minnesota.
Mitzi was born September 30, 1928 to the late Benjamin and Mathilda (Bruggeman) Dickmeyer in Fairfax, Minnesota where she married Roger Riesgraf on November 25, 1950. She was a kindergarten teacher in Minneota, Sleepy Eye, Watertown, and Buffalo for 26 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Church, St. Timothy’s Resurrection Choir, Council of Catholic Women, and the Minnesota Education Association. Mitzi was active throughout her life with traveling and spending time at the lake with family & friends. Her favorite pastime was cooking and hosting parties for the family.
She is survived by her husband Roger of Maple Lake, six children & their spouses William Riesgraf of Maple Lake, Elizabeth Riesgraf-Wyman MD & Dick of St. Cloud, Patrice Curtiss & Len of Grand Rapids, Robert Riesgraf & Mary of Buffalo, Susan Anderson & Dave of St. Michael, Jennifer Eichten & Steve of Mounds View, sister Barbara (Gene) Heymans of Homosassa, FL, brothers Jim Dickmeyer of Maple Grove, Ben (Darleen) Dickmeyer of Lakeland, FL. Mitzi was a wonderful inspiration and role model for her children, twelve grandchildren Jason, Sarah, Dan, Matt, Chris, Annie, Joe, Bob, Ellen, Steve, Carly, Andy and four great grandchildren.
The pallbearers will be Jason & Bob Wyman, Dan & Joe Curtiss, Matt & Chris Riesgraf, Steve Anderson, and Andy Eichten. The music for the service will be provided by Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox, Sarah Goelz, Marge Pavlik, and St. Timothy’s Resurrection Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
Ellen Thomas Wilder
Ellen T. Wilder, age 92, of Annandale passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Annandale Care Center surrounded by the love of her family and caregivers near and far.
Visitation will be from 10:15-10:45 a.m. at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale followed by Graveside Services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Pastor Connie McCallister will officiate and the pallbearers will be Brad, Scott, Jeff & Doug Grabham, Peter Wilder, and Chris Paulson.
Ellen Thomas Wilder was born July 4, 1917 in Portland, Maine to Edward and Jane (Sandison) Thomas. She was united to Guy Earl Wilder in Oakland, CA on October 1, 1938 beginning seventy-two wonderful years of marriage. They have enjoyed a cabin on Clearwater Lake since 1986 and have lived in Annandale the past 10 years. She was employed by San Mateo County, California retiring in 1980 as the Parole Department Manager.
She is survived by her husband Guy Earl ‘Pete’ Wilder of Annandale, son Peter Earl Wilder & his wife Mary of North Canton, Ohio, daughter Judith Wilder Grabham of Annandale, five grandchildren Peter Wilder Jr., Brad (Robin) Grabham, Kristie (Chris) Wilder Paulson, Scott Grabham (Tracy Rameil), & Jeff Grabham, and six great grandchildren Curtis & Nathan Wilder, Mathew & Mikael Paulson, Riley & Ella Grabham and her many special relatives across the country. She was preceded in death by her parents, son in law David Grabham, brother Edward, and sisters Phyllis, Doris, Jane, & JoAnne.

Helen Marie Johnson
Helen M. Johnson, age 91, of Kimball died Monday, May 24, 2010 at Heritage House of Kimball.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Kimball. Father Thomas Olson will officiate and burial will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery.
Helen Marie Johnson was born November 5, 1918 in Corinna Township, Wright County to Ernest and Anna (Bayless) Rosenow. She married John L. Johnson on November 5, 1955 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1983. From 1950-1980 they resided in Minneapolis where for many years Helen was employed by Dayton’s Department Store.
She is survived by several nieces & nephews and was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Evelyn Stelten, and brothers Clifford & Dale Rosenow.
The pallbearers will be Ryan, Adam & Kurt Stelten, Jim Strohmeier, Shawn Fast, and Brent Olson. The music for the service will be provided by Frosty Schiefelbein, organist and the St. Anne’s Choir. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Arsene J. Provo, age 90, of Annandale passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 9, 2010.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and Wednesday at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Arsene James Provo was born April 10, 1920 to Jule & Bernadette (Martin) Provo at Maple Lake and graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1938. He married Freda A. Konz on November 10, 1956 in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Pearl Lake. Arsene worked for Lakedale Telephone Company for 26 years, retiring in 1985 as a line foreman. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and Father O’Brien Council Knights of Columbus #3613. He enjoyed flying, sports (especially bowling) and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Freda of Annandale, children John (Marlene) of Clearwater, Sharon (Sandy Rosploch) of West Palm Beach, FL, Greg (Kathy Berthiaume) of Minnetonka, Dean (Sandy) of Cold Spring, Bob (Terry) of Brooklyn Park, Tim (Bette) of Annandale, Chad (Ann) of Annandale, sisters Marie Remund of Coon Rapids, Lucille Smith of Maple Lake, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. His brother Joe preceded him in death.
The pallbearers will be his six sons and the music for the service will be provided by the St. Ignatius Guitar Group. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
Peggy Jewel Bronson
Peggy J. Bronson, age 70, died Monday, May 24, 2010 at her residence, Centennial Villa Apartments, Annandale, MN. Funeral services will be held in Plant City, Florida with burial at the Garden of Peace Cemetery, Plant City.
Peggy Jewel Bronson was born May 4, 1940 at Ocala, FL to Clement Bronson & Carrie Sudduth. For 35 years she was a Speech Pathologist employed by Clayton County, Iowa. She enjoyed golfing & playing games at Centennial Villa and was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Maple Lake, MN.
She is survived by aunts Lurena Moore of South Haven, MN, Ida Hawkins of Plant City, Rowena Frisco of Los Angeles, CA, Arleathia Brown Carr of Plant City, uncle Robert Adams of Plant City, brother Michael Marshel of Daley, CA, sisters Joellen Ray of Ogden, UT, Natalie Sims of Little Rock, AR, cousin Darlene Alexander of Lithonia, GA; also many other cousins, relatives and friends. Her brother Floyd Scofield preceded her in death.

Daryl Joseph Scanlon
Daryl J. Scanlon, age 76 of Augustana Health Care Center, Minneapolis died Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Fr. Michael Izen will officiate and burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Chatham Township.
Daryl Joseph Scanlon was born October 26, 1933 to Harold and Dorothy (Ferrell) Scanlon. He graduated from Maple Lake High School. Daryl enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Scott; brothers and sisters, Keith of Cohassett, Rosie Bakker of Bloomington, Clyde (Barb) of Monticello, Jan (Gene) Kuhlman of Buffalo, Mike (Joyce) of Buffalo and Dianne (Dave) Ristau of Clear Lake, brothers-in-law, Warren Starry and Dick Wurm, both of Maple Lake. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Starry and Jackie Wurm; brothers-in-law, Dale Bakker; sisters-in-law, Audrey and Esther Scanlon.

Hermeonie Fern Pippo
Hermeonie F. Pippo, age 94 of Buffalo Lake, formerly of Annandale died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Buffalo Lake Health Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church. Pastor Dennis Johnson will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Thursday at the church.
Hermeonie Fern Pippo was born February 18, 1916 to Herman and Hattie (Olson) Zabel at their home in rural Cedar Mills. She graduated from Alexandria High School with the class of 1934 and from Valley City Teacher’s College in 1937. Hermie was a teacher at Howard Lake Country School and in South Haven and Annandale. She married Oscar Pippo on January 20, 1944 at Westmoe Church in Brandon and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2003. She was a member of the Annandale Evangelical Free Church, a sewing club and a former member of the Annandale V.F.W., where she served as President, Secretary and Treasurer. Hermie enjoyed sewing, gardening, ceramics, painting and doll collecting.
She is survived by her children, Stacy (Darrel) Worden of Silver Lake, Tim (Michelle) of Maple Lake and Roger of Young America; sisters, Patricia LeMere of Richfield and Noi Dawn Zabel of Edina; daughter-in-law, Sharon of Shakopee; sister-in-law, Lee Zabel of St. Paul; 8 grandchildren, Gretta, Frank, Sheila, Rachel, Denise, Amanda, Alison and Emily; and 7 great grandchildren, Simon, Mona, Helena, Hale, Pela, Rory & Henry. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Hattie; husband, Oscar; son, Rory; sisters, Adeline and Izola; and brothers, Herman, Jr., Selvin, and Edwin.
Pallbearers will be Emily, Frank and Alison Pippo, Darrel Worden, Rachel Ronning, Daniel Cram and Geoffrey Davis. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Annandale.
Luella Francis Theis
Luella F. Theis, age 90, of Country Manor, Sartell formerly of Kimball died Friday, May 21, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Thomas Olson and Deacon Steve Yanish officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Luella Francis Theis was born March 28, 1920 at Kimball to Henry and Lucinda (Curtis) Dahnke. She married Oscar J. Theis on September 17, 1940 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church where she was a lifetime member. Oscar preceded her in death on August 5, 2003. Luella was a homemaker and for 26 years a cook for Kimball Area Schools. She enjoyed bowling, card playing, bingo and watching the Minnesota Twins.
She is survived by her children Audrey Anders of Litchfield, Don Theis & his wife Liz of Ramsey, Doris Mead & her husband Arnie of Clear Lake, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son in law Del Anders, brothers George, Chet & Eldon, and sister Agnes Boos.
The pallbearers will be Steve Mead, Brad, Scott & Duane Theis, Barrett & Bruce Anders, and Brad Shropshire. The music for the service will be provided by St. Anne’s Choir and Frosty Schiefelbein, organist. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
Zelda Jane Stein
Zelda J. Stein died at the age of 107 as a resident of the Cokato Manor, Cokato on Monday, May 10, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Church of Christ, Kimball. Pastor Jon Albert and Pastor Jerry Albert will officiate and burial will be in Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Friday at the church. Memorials are preferred to Cokato Charitable Trust, Kimball Church of Christ or to the donor’s favorite charity.
Zelda Jane Stein was born January 17, 1903 at the railroad station hotel in Glenwood to I.N. and Luella (Greely) Petty. She married David Stein on February 7, 1928 in Kimball and spent their entire married live together in the Kimball Area. Zelda enjoyed reading, playing cards and making crafts.
She is survived by her twin sons, Dale F. (Audrey) of Tucson, AZ and Donald E. of Sun Lakes, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Pam of Tucson, AZ, Derek (Kimberly) of Kalamazoo, MI, David (Jenny) of Madison, WI, Paula (Greg) Clark of St. Paul and Daniel of Minneapolis; 5 great grandchildren, Emilie, Katherine, Peter, Evelyn and Claire; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, I.N. and Luella; husband, David on October 28, 1998; infant son, Milo; daughter in law, Norma; brothers, Fred, Charles, George and Percy Petty; and sisters, Inez Finley, Eunice Bullivant Hesse and Dorothy Sommers.
Pallbearers will be Derek, David and Daniel Stein, Paula Stein Clark, Travis Kent and Richard Eckman. Joyce Albert and Lori Miller will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.
Henrietta Katherine Thomas
Henrietta K. (Stelzer Sinkel) Thomas, age 55 of Buffalo, formerly of Watertown and Delano, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at her son’s home in Buffalo surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Bob Leinberger will officiate and burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo.
Henrietta Katherine Thomas was born December 3, 1954 to Henry Bromo and Mary Bernice (Robertson) Stelzer. She graduated from Delano High School with the class of 1972. Over the years, Henrietta worked as a nursing assistant at numerous locations in the area. She spent her entire life doing what she loves … caring for others. Henrietta’s family was everything to her.
She is survived by her children, Elijah (fiancé, Kendra) Sinkel of Delano, Aaron (fiancé, Alissa) Sinkel of Delano, Jesse (Nicole) Sinkel of Buffalo, Rachel Thomas of Montrose, Anna Thomas of Waverly, Danielle Thomas of Waverly and Mariah Thomas of Buffalo; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Aaron, Jesse and Elijah Sinkel, Dustin Vergin, Bill Hanson and Jason Wehr. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
