Raymond Bernard Muller
Mr. Raymond B. Muller, age 87, of Maple Lake died Wednesday, March 12, 2003 surrounded by his family at Ebenezer Covenant Home, Buffalo
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2003 at St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Father Mark Huberty officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral chapel.
Raymond Bernard Muller was born May 11, 1915 in Maple Lake to Albert B. and Ethel A. (McAlpin) Muller. He was very active and excelled in all sports. He was a member of the undefeated 1931-32 Maple Lake football teams. He was also a member of the 1932 District Basketball Championship team. After graduating from high school, Ray completed Mortuary Science training at the University of Minnesota. He became the third generation of Muller`s to operate the Muller Mortuary in Maple Lake. Ray was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy; he was honorable discharged in 1943 after which he went to Alaska to work on the ALCAN (Alaska-Canadian) highway until 1945. After WW II Ray started his own plumbing and heating business in Maple Lake. He married Marilyn T. Schad September 9, 1949 in Plainview; she preceded him in death October 17, 1998. Ray lived in Maple Lake all his life where he was a member of St. Timothy`s Catholic Church, Father O`Brien`s Council Knights of Columbus # 3613, Maple Lake Lions Club, Maple Lake American Legion Post # 131, and served as Mayor of Maple Lake for one term. Ray loved his grandchildren and community, his generous nature, great wit, and sense of humor will be missed. He was a real man from the Greatest Generation.
Ray is survived by seven children, Alan (Michele) of Maple Lake, Chris Muller of Lexington, KY, Joe (Carol) of Monticello, Susan (Dick) Lehman of Cincinnati, Patty (Bob) Pritchett of Warsaw, IN, Dave (Kelli) of Minnetonka, Charlie (Aimee) of Rogers; 10 grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Aaron, Jonathan, Christopher, and Benjamin Lehman, Rob and Ryan Pritchett, and Sam Muller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Max Muller, and Earl Pettis.
Music for the funeral provided by Sarah Goelz, Maggie Muller, and Christine Muller.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
Arvilla Evelyn Schuldt
Mrs. Arvilla E. Schuldt, age 87, of Kimball died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Hilltop Care Center, Watkins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at St. John`s Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. Dave Milz officiating. Burial will follow in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials are preferred to St. John`s Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Arvilla Evelyn Schuldt was born September 14, 1915 at Becker to James and Jennie (Erickson) Leverton. She married Edward A. Schuldt August 20, 1932 in Foley and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1974. She lived in Minneapolis from 1945-1973, then in Kimball until becoming a resident of Hilltop Care Center 3 years ago. She was a homemaker, member of St. John`s Lutheran Church and St. John`s Quilting Group, volunteer for the Senior Dining Center and she loved to dance and play card games.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Kenneth & Jean Schuldt of Minnetonka, Irene & Carl Hoffman of Kimball, Dolores & Paul Holm of Aurora, IL, Donald & Darlene Schuldt of Elysian; two sisters, Ethel Danielson and Jennie Marie Clitty, both of Hopkins; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Her husband, brother, James, and two sisters, Irene and Pearl preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Todd and Bryan Hoffman, Gary Holm, Tanner Schuldt, Troy Hoekstra and Kenneth Zielke. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott and Dean Schuldt, Sandra Zagorski, Lori Zielke, Susan Hoekstra, McKenzie and Marne Schuldt.

Lila Polzin, 86
Lila Edith Polzin of St. Michael passed away in Buffalo, Minn. the morning of June 23, 2012 at the age of 86, after a long battle with numerous health issues. Lila was a butterfly that energized everyone her life touched.
Born in Dayton Township, Lila lived most of her life in Montrose where she was a devoted postal employee for the surrounding communities. She was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Corcoran where she had been confirmed more than 70 years earlier. Her faith was a significant part of her life and her trust in God’s will never waivered.
Lila was preceded in death by: her husband, Earle and grandson, Christian. She is survived by: sons, Richard (Connie), James (Ellen), and Todd (Lisa); grandchildren, Kelsey, Jessica, Mary Kate, Grace, Joshua, Sydney, and Cooper; great grandchildren, Devin and Dagan; and many loving relatives.
Funeral services for Lila will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Untied Meth-odist Church in Corcoran. Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in St. Michael with further visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment will follow.
Gwen Boltz, 65
Gwen Mary Moody Boltz, 65, of Hermiston, Oregon passed away on August 26, 2011.
She was born on December 19, 1948, in Buffalo, the daughter of Theodore T. and Bernice Demarais Moody Jr.
Gwen is survived by: husband, Rich Boltz; daughters, Tracy Meehan and Shawn Meehan; five grandchildren and a great grandchild; brothers, Ted Moody Jr., Rich Moody, and Mike Moody.
A Memorial Service for Gwen Moody Boltz was held on Thursday, August 16, at 2:00 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Pastor Jef Olson officiated.
Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.

Albert Deisting, 86
Albert Deisting, 86, of rural Buffalo passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012, at Park View Care Center.
Funeral services for Albert Deisting will be held on Friday, August 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Further visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, at the church one hour prior to services.

Harlen Frykholm, 80
Harlen DeWayne Fry-kholm, age 80, of Buffalo, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at his residence with many family members by his side.
Harlen was born on February 12, 1932, in Buffalo, the son of Axel and Ruth (Johnson) Frykholm. He was baptized by Reverend Callerstrom and received his confirmation by Reverend Pearson.
Growing up, he resided on a farm by Dean Lake and went to school in Buffalo. He later moved to Minneapolis and worked for Ralston Purina Feed. On April 23, 1952, he was united in marriage to Marilla Marquette.
In September of 1952 he was drafted into the Army. He did his basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky. In February he shipped out of Fort Louis, Washington, for Korea where he was stationed in heavy artillery until the peace treaty was signed. He was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, upon returning to the United States where he was honorably discharged.
After returning to his home town of Buffalo, he worked driving truck for a road construction company until he started working for Delano Granite. From there, he moved onto Neuman Plumbing and then started working for Culligan. Due to a back injury, he later became a sewing machine mechanic at Wonderalls until they closed their doors. Then he went to work for Butwin Manufacturing Company located in Litchfield, Minnesota, where they made jackets, and on February 17, 1995, he retired from Butwin Manufacturing.
In 1960, he and his wife bought a 40-acre farm southwest of the city of Buffalo where they raised their six children, two sons and four daughters. Harlen enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to their lake home on Smith Lake in Osakis, Minnesota. He was a man who loved to work with his hands, making many wood items for family members.
He is survived by: his wife of 60 years, Marilla (Marquette) Frykholm; his six children, Douglas (Janice) Frykholm of Howard Lake, Diane (James) Berscheid of Buffalo, Shelly (Steven) Nelson of Annandale, Steven (Teresa) Frykholm of Buffalo, Treina (Robert) Richards of Buffalo, and Tammy (Clayton) Prestidge of Waverly; his brother, Ronald (Patricia) Frykholm of Deer Wood; and his nephew, David (Corby) and their son (Yuri) Frykholm of Texas.
He also is survived by ten granddaughters, Tabatha (Brian) Borski, Candi Osberg (Erik Stumne), Angela Stenglein (James Ottenstroer), Jody (Kory) Schafer, Cari (Joshua) Erickson, Stephanie (Jesse) Korbel, Rachel Richards, Kayla Richards, Heather and Alyssa Prestidge; three grandsons, Jonathan Nelson (Crystal Logan-Friendshuh), Devon Prestidge, and Lucas Frykholm; one step-grandson, Jason Nelson; seven great-granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Harlen is preceded in death by: his parents, Alex and Ruth Frykholm; four grandsons (from birth); father and mother-in-law, Lester and Agnes Marquette; and step-father-in-law, Merle Triplett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Peterson’s Chapel in Buffalo from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo, August 24, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services and a luncheon will follow interment at St. John’s Church. Services officiated by Pastor James Disney. Pallbearers will be Harlen’s four sons-in-law James Berscheid, Steven Nelson, Robert Richards, and Clayton Prestidge, and his two grandsons in-law Brian Borski and Jesse Korbel.
Honorary pallbearers are his two sons: Douglas and Steven Frykholm; three grandsons: Jonathan Nelson, Devon Prestidge, and Lucas Frykholm; and one step-grandson: Jason Nelson.
Peterson Chapel of Buffalo, Minnesota, assisted the family with arrangements.
Ernest Johnson, 73
Ernest Everett Johnson, “Ernie” 73 of Delano passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to Mass in the church on Friday.

Margaret Klaers, 73
Margaret G. Klaers “Marge, ” 73 of Loretto, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was born January 10, 1939 to Sydney and Laura (Bokusky) Mitchell in Delano.
Marge was a longtime employee of Barrett Moving Company. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Marge was united in marriage on August 5, 1960, to Jerome A. Klaers “Jerry, ” at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto.
Marge was a lifetime resident of Loretto. She was a lifetime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto. Marge loved to spend time with family and friends, time at the cabin, but especially time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by: her husband, Jerry and a brother, Sidney “Sonny” Mitchell. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie (Jeff) Plzak and Lindy (Jim) Nelson; 7 grandchildren, Troy (Paula) Peeples, Abby (Tony) Jude, Brita (Jesse) Price, Curt (Lisa) Plzak, Chad Plzak, Kevin Plzak, and Elliot Nelson; 4 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Morgan, Alexandra, and Vincent; and sisters Betsy (Lloyd) Vergin and Carol (Jerry) McCann.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto. Visitation took place on Monday, August 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Visitation continued one hour prior to Mass in the church on Tuesday.

Kenneth Marquette Jr., 39
Kenneth Marquette Jr., 39, of Maple Lake passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012. Arrangements are pending at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
Kevin Alinder, 58
Kevin L. Alinder, 58, of Rockford died of leukemia on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
He was born on June 27, 1954 in Willmar, the son of Wendell and Margary (Ekblad) Alinder. Kevin graduated from Willmar High School in 1972 and later attended Willmar Vo-Tech for two years.
On June 24, 1972, Kevin L. Alinder and Cheryl Gulbranson were joined in holy marriage in Watertown, S.D. God blessed their marriage with two children.
Kevin was employed for many years as a tool and dye maker.
He was a member of the Tripolis Lutheran Church in rural Kandiyohi.
Kevin belonged to the Plymouth Gun Club and was a longtime Junior Member Coach. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survived by: loving wife, Cheryl; children, Michael Kevin Alinder of Anoka and Michele Marie Alinder of Annandale; 2 grandchildren, Noah Michael and Sophie Elise Alinder; siblings, Carolyn (Dr. Robert) Elkjer of Portland, Ore., Ardis Au of Shalimar, Fla., Dianne Abbott of Oakdale, and Dean (Marlys) Alinder of St. Paul; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Joyce Gulbranson of Belgrade; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Marjorie Alinder, and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Arthur) Theget.
Funeral services for Kevin Alinder took place Friday, May 24 at Tripolis Lutheran Church of rural Kandiyohi. A visitation was held on Thursday at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo and at the church on Friday an hour prior to services.
Casket bearers were: Cory Gulbranson, John Abbott, James Abbott, John Theget, Jason Alinder, and Jeremy Alinder; grandson, Noah Alinder; and son, Michael Alinder.
