Charles Rogers
Funeral services for Charles 'Chuck' Rogers, 61, rural Little Falls, formerly of Anoka, took place Feb. 10 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Little Falls. Rev. Carl Larson officiated.
Rogers died Feb. 6, 2004 at his home. He was born Dec. 13, 1942 in Anoka to Harold and Anna (Hanson) Rogers. He served in the U.S. Army, operated a dairy farm and worked in road maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Rogers of rural Little Falls; brother, Doug Rogers and wife Geryl of Elk River; sisters, Karen Sonterre and husband George of Webster, Wis., Annie Gergely and husband Joe of Andover, Darlynne Lemieux of Anoka, Linda Irey of Mendota Heights; grandchildren, Corissa and Shawn Rogers. many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeff and Jim Rogers; parents, Harold and Anna Rogers; and brother-in-law, Steve Irey.
Pallbearers were Garrett and Adam Rogers, Jon Grubbs, Paul Lapos, Joe Gergely III and Brian Sonterre. Honorary pallbearers were Brent Sonterre, Chad Lemieux, Quentin Irey and Dee Ann Forrest.
Interment was at Bearhead Cemetery, Pillsbury. Arrangements were by Shelley Funeral Chapel, Little Falls.
Norma Antonsen
Funeral services for Norma J. Antonsen, 54, Andover, took place Feb. 7 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Sean Kelly officiated.
Antonsen died Feb. 4, 2004 at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1949 in Minneapolis and was a 37-year employee of Honeywell.
She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Michelle and Jeff; and grandchildren, Bryden, Taylor and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Dorothy McClellan.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Walter Bent
Funeral services for Walter D. Bent, 72, Andover, took place Feb. 13 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Ramsey. Revs. Blair K. Anderson, Hilton Hammer and Michelene Verlautz officiated.
Bent died Feb. 9, 2004 in Robbinsdale. He was born Aug. 2, 1931 in Rhinelander, Wis., and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a manager/inspector for a construction company.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; children, Kathy Neuberger (Joe), Greg Bent (Wendy Hanson); grandchildren, Angela and Jacob Neuberger; sister, Carol Erickson (John), brother, Raymond Bent (Wendi); and brother-in-law, Stanley Schacht (Dee).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Mildred,
Pallbearers were Joe and Jacob Neuberger, Greg and Raymond Bent, Warren Olson and Gene Malner. Honorary pallbearers were Don Gedatus and Darrell Dobe.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Robert Flanigan
Graveside services for Robert M. Flanigan, 81, Andover, took place Feb. 12 at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Rev. Joel Cycenas officiated.
Flanigan died Feb. 7, 2004 in Coon Rapids. He was born Jan. 9, 1923 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Maurice and Arvada Flanigan and was a retired supervisor for FMC.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Rose Greene
Memorial services for Rose L. Greene, 93, Anoka, will take place Tuesday, March 2, 11 a.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, Anoka.
Green died Feb. 13, 2004.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Don) McClure of Crystal, Chris (Peter) Arnott of Auckland, New Zealand; grandchildren, Monica (Rick) Boester, of Rockford, Ill., Mark Dillenburg of Crystal, Amy (David) Crilly of Ontario, Canada, John Dillenburg of Crystal, Greg (Liz) Arnott, Susan Arnott and Cathy Arnott of Auckland, New Zealand; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Ruth Hancock of El Campo, Texas; niece, Ruthie Sacco of El Campo, Texas, Paula Robinson of Victoria, Texas; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.W. 'Lonnie' Greene.
Arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Brooklyn Park.
James Hawkins
Memorial services for James F. 'Jim' Hawkins, 71, Blaine, took place Feb. 18 at King of Glory Lutheran Church, Blaine. Rev. David Hintze officiated.
Hawkins died Feb. 14, 2004 at Unity Hospital. He was born June 27, 1932 in Duluth to James Hawkins and Evelyn LeMay. He was a retired dock worker with American Freight and a military veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Tracy (Nancy Janssen), Lynn (Jerry) Johnson; grandson, Brandon Johnson; sisters, Pat (Al) Riensmann, Joanna Jackson; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine.
Jerry Jaros
Funeral services for Jerry J. Jaros, 75, Blaine, took place Feb. 10 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Jaros died Feb. 7, 2004 in New Brighton. He was born Sept. 11, 1928 in Minneapolis and worked for the Toro Company.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughters, Linds (Leonard) Keyes, Susan Hatley; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home.
William Jawor
Funeral services for William Paul Jawor, 75, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 11 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home. Rev. James Martin officiated.
Jawor died Feb. 6, 2004 in Coon Rapids. He was born Aug. 28, 1928 in Posen, Ill., to Frank E, . Jawor and Jeanette Wiezner, and was a financial controller.
He is survived by his wife, Della; children, Tim (Liz), Gret, Kim (Chuck) LaBeaux and Preston; grandchildren, Nicholas, Talia, Anthony, Garrett, Lindsy, Tyler, Angelina; and sisters, Genevieve Valenti and Virginia Liva.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
David Jenson
Visitation services for David Arthur Jenson, 63, Ramsey, took place Feb. 15 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Jenson died Feb. 10, 2004 in Madison. He was born April 16, 1940 in Madison to Gilbert and Josie Sophie (Nelson) Jenson.
He is survived by his children, Kim (Ryan) Lee of East Bethel and Michael (Cindy) Jenson of Annandale; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Josie Jenson.
Interment was private at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Jeanette Lind
Funeral services for Jeanette M. Lind, 76, Ham Lake, took place Feb. 16 at Constance Evangelical Free Church, Andover. Revs. Randy Discher and Fred Tuma officiated.
Lind died Feb. 12, 2004 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Rush City, She was born in Wentworth, Wis., Oct. 19, 1927. She and her husband Wallace settled in Ham Lake in 1961. She worked at Temple Book and Bible for 15 years as a sales clerk. At Constance Evangelical Free Church, she was a deaconess and active in Ladies Aid, Sunday School, choir and Bible School.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace Lind; sons, Steve Lind and Beverly of Bradford, Kenny and wife Yoon Hee Lind of Mora; daughters, Donna Heidelberger of Stanchfield, Susan and husband Bruce Holmquist of Boyds, Md., Carol Lind of Brattleboro, Vt., and Nancy and husband Gary Moss of Dekalb, Ill.; grandchildren, Rachel, Becky, Daniel, Katie, Foster, Jenny, Eric, Alan, Emma, Benjamin and Spencer; sister, Linda Wilox of South Range, Wis.; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Waldy; and sisters, Gerta, Astrid and Tilley.
Pallbearers were Steve, Eric and Kenny Lind, Bruce Holmquist, Gary Moss, and Dan Heidelberger. Honorary pallbearers were Ordean Stromgren and Richard Patrow.
Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wentworth, Wis., in the spring. Arrangements were by Rock Mankie Burial and Cremation Service, Braham.
Jacob Mars
Funeral services for Jacob 'Jake' Gerald Mars, 15, Blaine, took place Feb. 18 at Kingswood Church. Rev. David DeVel officiated.
Mars died Feb. 11, 2004 in Minneapolis. He was born March 12, 1988 in Robbinsdale and was a student.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Lisa; brothers, Josh and Jesse; grandparents, Jim and Marlene Mars, Jerry and Ruth Teschendorf; great-grandmother, Agnes Teschendorf; aunts and uncles, Kathy, John (Brenda), Jim (Dawn) and Doug; and family and friends.
Pallbearers were Josh, Jim and Jesse Mars, John and Jerry Teschendorf, and Jim Stroschein.

Travis Pederson
Funeral services for Travis A. Pederson, 18, St. Francis and Firestone, Colo., took place Feb. 18 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Dennis Perryman officiated.
Pederson died Feb. 11, 2004 in Bethoud, Colo., from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born April 22, 1985 in St. Louis Park to Richard T. and Diane J. (Otterstetter) Pederson.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Angela Pederson and brothers Dalton and Garret Pederson, all of St. Francis and Firestone; grand-parents, Joy Pederson of St. Francis and Sam and Regina Otterstetter of Richfield, Rhoda Boon of Montana, Roger Borchert of New Ulm; great-grandmother, Cleo Pederson of Cambridge; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Pederson; and grandfather, Richard Allen Pederson.
Pallbearers were Joe and David Otterstetter, Allen and Darek Pederson, Tab Flann and Joe Nieusma.
Interment was at West Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
