Marilyn Heikkila
Funeral service for Marilyn Ruth Heikkila (Frank), 80, Coon Rapids, took place May 13 at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church. Rev. William Reinhart officiated.
Heikkila died May 10, 2005 at Cambridge Health Care Center. She was born April 22, 1925 in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her husband, Russell; daughters, Katherine Motherway, Susan Ebert (Greg), Avie Martin (Jack), Lori Ghassemiou (Bahram); sister, Janet Anderson (Robert); grandchildren, Wendy Morina (Besnik), Andrew Motherway, Jeff Ebert (Deborah), Kristen Blinkhorn (Tim), Amy Rich (Scott), Jessica Floding, Kara Kuykendall (Shawn), Justin Sibben, Shadon Ghassemiou; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Ebert, Grace Ebert, Michael Rich, Jacob Floding, Samuel Blinkhorn, Ella Jane Blinkhorn and Heidi Kuykendall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ersie Frank; sister, Harriet Johnson; daughter, Heidi Renee Sibben; and grandson, William Motherway.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Dorothy Heille
Funeral service for Dorothy Ruth Heille, 76, Fridley, formerly of North Branch and Spring Lake Park, took place May 12 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. James Martin officiated.
Heille died May 8, 2005 in Fridley. She was born June 1, 1928 in Ryder, N.D., to Samuel and Isa Shattun.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Barbara (John) Byrne, Nancy (Barry) Miller, Jo Heille, William E. Heille, Jeri L. Heille, James J. (Crystal) Heille, Derek D. Heille, Paul A. (Teresa) Heille and Paula A. (Archie) Netteberg; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Marian (Duane) Leigh; and brothers, Robert (Shirley) Shattun and Leroy (Diane) Shattun.
She was preceded in death by her son, Walter G.

Rosemary Ingebredsten
Memorial service for Rosemary Ingebredsten, 85, Coon Rapids, took place May 14, 2005 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur James; eight children; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Barry Miller
Memorial service for Barry A. Miller, 54, Isanti, took place May 16 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. John Kramer officiated.
Miller died May 13, 2005 at Unity Hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1951 in Albert Lea and was a security guard.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy E.M. (Heille); stepsons, Jacob Peterson (Tawnjai), Michael and Benjamin Watercott; stepdaughter, Dorothy Peterson; and brothers and sisters, Gordon D. (Bethel) Miller, Marlene Tufvander, Edward Miller and Sheila Miller.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Kilmer Moe
Private family funeral service for Kilmer R. Moe, 71, Andover, will take place.
Moe died May 10, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1934 in LaCrosse, Wis.
He is survived by his son, John; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Amanda and Shawn; sisters, Carol Shake (Gary), Joanie Bowlby (Albert) and Jerri McFarland (Patrick); and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elfie; and nephew, Mark.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Thomas Mooney
Funeral service for Thomas O. Mooney, 64, Andover, took place May 13 at Gearhart Funeral Home. Rev. Hilton Hammer officiated.
Mooney died May 8, 2005 in Andover. He was born Feb. 5, 1941 in Minneapolis to Thomas and Mable Mooney and was an engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Paula and Tracy; son-in-law, Troy; grandchildren, Jason, Kara, Dominic, Dante and Tre; nieces and nephews, Pam, Debbie, Tom, Brian, Colin and their families; sister-in-law, Debbie; and brother-in-law, Chuck.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J.; mother, Mabel; and sisters, Teddy and Pat.

Kenneth Peterson
Kenneth E. Peterson, 80, Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Anoka, died May 11, 2005.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran in World War II, worked for KSTP Radio as a sales executive in the late 1950s and 1960s and owned Peterson Shoes in downtown Anoka until his retirement.
He is survived by his second wife, Wanda; stepchildren, Joe, Phil and Kathy; first wife, Florence; sons, Scott and Belinda, Randall and Jackie, Brad, Martin, Kevin and Denise; Christopher and Christina; daughter, Kelly Stamper; grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Holly, Cheryl, David, Ashley, Justin, Sarah, Zach, Sasha, Dylan, Nicole and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Max, Gavin and Beatrice; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Dorothy; sister, Joan Vevea; and brother, Jerry.
Andrew Rubis
Funeral service for Andrew L. Rubis, 87, New Brighton, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place May 16 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fridley. Rev. Sean Kelly officiated.
Rubis died May 12, 2005 in Brooklyn Center. He was born March 19, 1918 in Mason City, Iowa, and was a retired teacher and coach in Anoka-Hennepin School District 11.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie; son, Lonnie (Connie) Rubis; daughters, Vicki (Joe) Pung, Andrea (Dale) Arnold, Joy (Jim) Sovada, Marsha (Tom) Lehn and Jeanne (Ross) Edmundson; grandchildren, Jarrett (Kristin) Rubis, Jason (Jennifer) Rubis, Jessie (Shannon) Brewer, Derek Rubis, Hans (Caroline) Pung, Jorn (Stacie) Pung, Willi (Mary) Pung, Wade (Sharon) Arnold, Christopher (Jennifer) Sovada, Mandy (Nbal) Jabbour, Jeff Lehn, Mike Lehn, Emily Lehn, Krista Edmundson and Matthew Edmundson; great-grandchildren, Ali, Trent, Sydney, Isabella, Harrison Lydia and Jack; and sisters, Joyce Bonn, Regina Beatty and Shirley Mikael.

Guy Smith
Funeral service for Guy B. Smith, 27, St. Paul, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place May 16 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wyoming.
Smith died May 12, 2005. He was born Dec. 1, 1977.
Her is survived by his parents, Kirby and Marcia; sister, Brenda (Jeff) Anderson; brother, Neil and fiancee Janet Brownawell; grandparents, Harlan and Rita Brown, Donna Smith; nieces, Ella and Paige Anderson; uncle, James Brown; aunts, Mary (Jake) Murray, Glenda (Steve) Sims; and cousins, Grant and Laura Sims.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Burton Smith.

Adeline Brom
Funeral service for Adeline Inez Brom, 88, Orange Park, Fla., formerly of Anoka, took place May 27 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Deacon Dominic Ehrmantraut officiated.
Brom died May 21, 2005 at Hadlow Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Fla. She was born Aug. 15, 1918 in Delta, Colo., to Walter J. and Hazel A. (Shauer) Reeder.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Ranjana Swenson of Florida; grandchildren, Anne Swenson, Amy Varchek and Gerald and Chris Timmers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Harold Hagle
Funeral service for Harold Hagle, 73, Blaine, took place May 28 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Mark Hellman officiated.
Hagle died May 25, 2005 in Blaine. He was born Feb. 24, 1932 in Binford, N.D., to Henry and Anne Hagle. He was a retired supervisor for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Ron (Tara), Dave (Connie), Jim (Char), Marvin (Donna), Al (Cindy), Terry (Kim), Doug (Carri) and Julie (Shane) Otten; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters; and other relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; two sisters; sons, Butch and Jeffrey; and daughter, Judy.
Pallbearers were Randy, Brian, Josh, Nicholas, Stephn, Mike and Jimmy Hagle and Josh Nave.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.
Gerald Norberg
Funeral service for Gerald Gene "Jerry" Norberg, 64, Coon Rapids, formerly of the Anoka/Champlin area, took place May 31 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Roy Karner officiated.
Norberg died May 25, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1940 in Thief River Falls to Milton Henry August and Agnes Louise (Nissen) Norberg. He was a steel worker.
He is survived by his daughters, Lanette (Brent) Hillebrand, Dolores (Kurt) Koppi, Dawn (Todd) Pearson, Joy Thompson, eight grandchildren; mother, Agnes Norberg; brothers, Charles (Rae Ann), Milton (Ruth), Jon (Mary), Lyle (Linda); and sisters, Sarann Nordhausen and Verna (Dwight) Goor.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
