Raymond Bohac
Services for Raymond Henry Bohac, 83, of Maple Grove were Monday, June 17, 2002 at New Life Christian Center, Trail Haven Rd., Hassan Township.
Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Mr. Bohac died Tuesday, June 11, in Maple Grove. He was born May 5, 1919, in Bristow, Neb.
He was a member of New Life Christian Center.
Survivors include his wife Bernice; daughter Tricia (Kerry) Johnson of Maple Grove; granddaughters, Christina and Sarah Johnson; brothers, Eddie of South Carolina and Leonard of Maryland; sisters, Evelyn Psaradis of Maryland and Sharlene Smith of North Carolina.
Memorials may be given to the Raymond H. Bohac Memorial Fund.
Eleanor Carroll
Services for Eleanor Cecelia (Sisson) Carroll were Monday, June 3, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Werness Brothers, Minneapolis.
She was born in Dayton Oct. 24, 1921, and died Wednesday, May 29 at Methodist Hospital.
She was preceded in death by mother, Cezarie Marie Plante and father Joseph Alfred Bernier.
Survivors include son, Gary Sisson (Mickey); brother, Albert Bernier; sisters, Lynn Sandell (Floyd), Lorraine Imsdahl (Jim), Mary Bergmann (Jerome); sister-in-law, Maurine Bernier; aunt, Adeline McCaffrey; many nieces, nephews and friends.
John C. Coleman
A Memorial Service for John C. Coleman, 60, of Rockford, formerly of Elk River, was Friday, June 14, 2002, at Central Lutheran Church, Elk River.
Friends and family gathered at the church one hour prior to the service. A Masonic Service was Wednesday, June 12, at the Sherburne Masonic Lodge, Elk River.
Mr. Coleman died suddenly of a heart attack June 10, 2002. He was born Aug. 9, 1941, to Edwin and Dorothy Coleman in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a member of the Bricklayers Local 2 for 40 years. He was a building inspector for the city of Eden Prairie for the past 18 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Elk River, and a member and past Master of Sherburne Masonic Lodge 95.
Mr. Coleman spent his life helping others and being of service to the community, family and friends. His friends and family were blessed with his presence for an extra 21 years after he survived cancer.
He is survived by wife, Norma, of 39 years; daughters, Kimberly (Brad) Hayes, and Jennifer (Joey) Jones; godson, Bob Braesch; grandchildren, Coleman and Marin Hayes; brothers, James (Connie) Coleman and William (Linda) Coleman and numerous nieces and nephews.
James Conzet
Services for James L. Conzet, 72, of Loretto were Friday, June 28, 2002, at 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Corcoran.
Mr. Conzet was formerly employed for more than 20 years by Midwest Irrigation and later worked 15 years for School Dist. 877.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Conzet and brothers, Glenn, Vernon and Floyd.
Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Jean Conzet; children, Catherine (Terry Shapiro) Conzet of Minneapolis and John (Brenda) Conzet of Buffalo; grandchildren, Zachary Shapiro, Todd and Troy Brueske; sisters and a brother, Alice Harff of Monticello, Russell (Eileen) Conzet of Maple Grove, Elaine Harff of Osseo and Carol (Dean) Dixon of Buffalo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Clarion Conzet of Rockford, Lillian Conzet of Maple Lake, Lois Conzet of Alexandria, Robert Roehl of Long Lake and Art (Gloria) Schoening of Milaca; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Clyde Cramer
Services for Clyde M. Cramer, 84, of Osseo are Friday, June 7, 2002, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. N.E., Osseo.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon, Iowa.
Mr. Cramer died June 3, 2002. He served over seas in World War II and was called back for service during the Korean conflict. He was a lifelong salesman, enjoying the variety of people, places and experiences the profession provided. He was active in the Osseo Senior Center and completed his third term as president of its board last December.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by loving wife Roberta.
Mr. Cramer is survived by son Greg and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren Stewart Cramer and wife Carolyn, and Stephanie Maitland and husband Monty; and great-granddaughter Heather Cramer.

Martin Czech
Services for Martin Czech, 85, of Rogers were Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Rogers. Interment followed at St. Martin Cemetery.
Michael, Ryan and Brandon Kostecka, Brian and Jared Czech, Andrew, Nicholas and Caleb Justen, Joshua Anderson and Luke Ogren served as casket bearers.
Laura Kostecka, Kayla Czech, Jessica Anderson and Greta Ogren were the gift bearers.
Mr. Czech died Friday, June 7, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was born in Holdingford Oct. 8, 1916, the son of Mike and Elizabeth Zwack Czech.
On Oct. 2, 1951, Martin Czech and Bridget Gapinski were joined in holy marriage at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. God blessed their marriage with six children. Bridget Czech preceded her husband in death in 1993.
Mr. Czech was formerly employed for 27 years at the Packaging Corporation of America. Following his retirement in 1981, he became the school custodian at St. Martin's Parochial School and had a lawn mowing service.
Mr. Czech was a faithful member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Rogers.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and playing both horseshoes and cribbage.
He is survived by children: Lucy (Roger) Kostecka of Norwood/Young America, Daniel (Karen) Czech of St. Stephen, Mary (Dan) Justen of Hamburg, Jean (Phillip) Anderson of Saginaw and Christine (Eric) Ogren of Elk River; 15 grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Ryan and Brandon Kostecka; Brian, Jared and Kayla Czech; Andrew, Nicholas and Caleb Justen; Jessica and Joshua Anderson and Luke, Greta and Marcus Ogren; 10 brothers and sisters, Jerome Czech of St. Cloud, Louis Czech of New Brighton, Raymond Czech of Brainerd, Lawrence Czech of Woodbury, Norbert Czech of Forest Lake, Alfred Czech of Grand Rapids, Catherine Otrembra and Angeline Studer, both of Sauk Rapids, Mary Lass of Grand Rapids and Magdalen Lang of St. Cloud; many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Czech was preceded in death by a son, Ronald in 1954; his parents, Mike and Elizabeth; brothers, Otto, Sam, Matthew, Roy and William Czech; sisters: Josephine Hiemenz, Ceil Zormeier and Louise Palme.
David Doten
Services for David Doten, 56, of Maple Grove will be today (Wednesday), July 3, 3002 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 Second St. N.E., Osseo.
Cremation at Lakewood Cemetery.
Mr. Doten, a teacher at Plymouth Middle School, died Sunday, June 30, in Robbinsdale.
He was a member of Minnesota Education Association.
Survivors include his wife Ione; sons Paul (April) of Sartell, Scott (girlfriend Kristen) of Maple Grove; mother, Signe Doten of Crosby; brother, James (Margo) of Cottage Grove; sisters, Lorelei (John) Kemmitt of Brooklyn Center; Linda (Larry) Oman of Little Falls.

Brandon Dubay
Services for Brandon J. Dubay, 19, of Corcoran, who died accidentally Friday, May 24, 2002, were Thursday, May 30, at the St. Anne Catholic Church in Hamel.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
He graduated from Delano High School Class of 2001. He was a student at Anoka Technical in construction, electrician and welding programs. He was employed the past three years at the Medina Ballroom and a recent member of the American MENSA. He enjoyed playing baritone saxophone, spending time at the lake and riding his "hog." He loved being mechanical saying, "If it's not broken, I'll fix it anyway."
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilton Dubay.
Survivors include his parents, Philip and Clarice Dubay; sister, Stephanie Dubay; grandparents, James and Sharon Gonsior and Phyllis Dubay; aunt, uncle and god parents, Clarence (C.J.) and Julie Gonsior; uncles, Greg (Kathy), Jon, Henry (Marie) and Francis (Joyce) Dubay; aunts, Michelle (John) Haeg, Monie Dubay Alice (Tim) Karels, Reenie (David) Nagel and numerous cousins and many friends.
George Eaton
Services for George Eaton, 66, of Brooklyn Park, were Monday, July 1, 2002, at Champlin United Methodist Church, with burial in Champlin Cemetery.
Mr. Eaton was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Dresser, Wis., to Archie A. Eaton and Irene M. (Williams). He was a parole and probation officer with the state of Minnesota and Hennepin County for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Louise; sons, Jonathon and Joel; brother, Richard (Linda); sisters, June (Glen) Hampton, Joan (Charles) Englert, Joyce (Edward) Wilson and Judith Eaton; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Eaton.
Jeffrey Ellis
Services for Jeffrey D. Ellis, 36, of Champlin were Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in Milbank, S.D.
He died Saturday, June 1, 2002, from a pulmonary embolism following knee surgery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Katie, 10, Stephanie, 9, and Adam 2; parents, Duane and Bonnie Ellis; brother, Doug (Jennifer); sister, Amy (Justin) Scepaniak; in-laws, Dennis and Arlene Fonder; grandmothers, Evelyn Muller and Caroline Ellis.
Catherine M. Fautsch
Services for Catherine M. Fautsch, 91, of Buffalo and formerly of Delano, were Friday, May 24, 2002, at St. Peter's Catholic School in Delano.
Fr. Michael Miller was the celebrant and interment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
Casket bearers were Geary Pettit, Dewey Pettit, Brad Chock, Ken Chock, Tierney Sisk, Brenda Lange, Shannon Pettit and Andre Thibault.
Mrs. Fautsch died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the Park View Care Center. She was born April 28, 1911, in Delano, the daughter of Andrew and Christine Czech Gnitka.
She was joined in marriage to Lawrence R. Fautsch Oct. 19, 1937, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Delano. The couple had four daughters. Mr. Fautsch preceded his wife in death in 1973.
Mrs. Fautsch was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Delano and its Rosary Society. She also belonged for many years to the Catholic Order of Foresters Council 1560.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fautsch was preceded in death by daughter, Delores Picard; grandson, Daniel Chock; brothers, John, Frank, Matt, Basil, Andrew and Sam Gnitka; and seven sisters, Mary Lyrek, Margaret Secora, Lucy Motzko, Florence Gnerer, Susan Styrbicky, Irene Capko and Genevieve Sobczynski.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne (Tom) Pettit of Buffalo, Marlene (Gene) Crepeau of Circle Pines and Judy (Greg) Chock of Maple Plain; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Klick of Minneapolis and Cecelia (Norbert) Barthel of St. Michael; sisters-in-law, Beatrice, Irene, Laura and Kate Gnitka; other relatives and friends.
Paul J. Fortin
Services for Paul J. Fortin, 92, of Hamel were Monday, June 3, 2002, at the St. Anne Catholic Church in Hamel. Interment followed at St. Anne's Cemetery.
Mr. Fortin ran Fortin Hardware in Hamel, started by his father in 1919. He was an active life-long member of St. Anne's Church and charter member of the Hamel Fire Department and Hamel Athletic Club. He was a member of the Northwest Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Hamel Lions Club.
He was a master electrician and a member of the University of Minnesota Gopher Dugout Club. He designed and built batting cages still used by area schools and colleges. He was a lifelong Dodge man, enjoying cars, trucks and school buses. The Hamel baseball field has been named in his honor.
He was preceded in death by wife, Isabel; and brother, Fr. Lloyd Fortin.
He is survived by daughter, Beverly (Roy) Nelson; son, Ron (Marityn) Fortin; daughter, Nancy Campbell; son, Albert "Butch" (Linda) Fortin; grandchildren, Terry, Pauline, Jacqueline, Connie, Bradley, Elizabeth, Matthew, Jason and Brian; great-grandchildren Melissa, Adam, Caitlin, Blake, Rebecca and Johnny; brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Fortin; sister, Joanne Torborg; nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Tabitha.
Duane A. Fries
Services for Duane A. "Dewey" Fries, 56, of Loretto were Friday, June 7, 2002, at Huber Funeral Home Chapel in Excelsior.
A private family interment followed at Maple Grove Cemetery, Frederic, Wis.
He is survived by mother, Gladys N. Fries of Spring Park; sister, Helen (Bill) Sauer of Tonka Bay; brothers, George (Linea) Fries of Fridley and Gaylord (Pat) Fries of St. Louis Park; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Walter; and sister, Carol Borgmann.
Hermes W. Gutzwiller
Services for Hermes W. Gutzwiller, 81, of St. Michael were Monday, July 1, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael in St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Mr. Gutzwiller's grandsons, Jeff Gutzwiller, Brady Neros, Dan Gutzwiller, Leon Gutzwiller, Troy Gutzwiller, Keith Gutzwiller, Kurt Gutzwiller, Joshua Cox and Chase Marx served as casket bearers.
Mr. Gutzwiller died at his residence Saturday, June 29.
He was born May 6, 1921, in St. Michael the son of Isadore and Lena Zachman Gutzwiller.
On May 30, 1944, Hermes Gutzwiller and Florence Micheau were joined in holy marriage at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton. God blessed their marriage with eight children.
He was a retired farmer and formerly worked as a security guard at FMC in Fridley for 20 years. He also formerly worked at Jubilee foods in St. Michael for 10 years.
Mr. Gutzwiller was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Through the years, Mr. Gutzwiller was an active church volunteer, an usher and a reader. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council #4174.
He enjoyed playing cards, telling jokes and dancing.
Mr. Gutzwiller is survived by his loving wife, Florence O. Gutzwiller; sons, Arvid (Bonnie) Gutzwiller of Anoka, Gerald (Lisa) Gutzwiller of Coon Rapids, Gregory (Zona) Gutzwiller of Monticello and Gary (Theresa) Gutzwiller of St. Michael; daughters, Annette (Paul) Goeb of Duluth, Joan (Red) Neros of Vergas, Clarice (John) Cox and Camille (Steve) Marx, all of Big Lake; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sally Ronning of St. Michael, Toots Hickler and Meralda Brandon, both of Monticello; many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
