ANDERSON, JUNE H., Age 71 of Southfield, formerly of Royal Oak died March 29, 2002. She was born March 27, 1931 in Detroit. Her husband Ivie "Andy" died in 1992. Surviving are her children Michael J. (Lorna) Anderson and Mark J. (Michele) Anderson. Brother, Adam (Naomi) Gray and grandchildren Chelsea, Lindsay, Michael Jr. and Morgan. BALL, CATHERINE E., Age 66. passed away March 30, 2002. She was born on July 10, 1935 in Carson City, Ohio to the late Julius and Lelia (Green) Osman. On Nov. 14, 1953 she married Larry Ball. Formerly of Redford Twp., she moved to South Lyon three years ago. She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church and a volunteer for South Lyon Ambulance Association. Catherine enjoyed fishing. She is survived by her husband Larry Ball; two children: Terry L. (Connie) Ball, Thomas P. Ball; one sister Margaret Osman; great-aunt Betty Mathews; two grandchildren: Bryan and Kayla; and dear friend Edward Gleason. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew's, 30900 Six Mile Rd., Livonia. Arrangements were made by Phillips Funeral Home, South Lyon.

DeGIULI, NATALIZIO, 80 of Bellaire, formerly of Southgate, died Saturday March 30, 2002 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born January 1, 1922 in Castro Dei Volsci, Italy the son of Ernesto and Frances (DeSantis) DeGiuli. A graduate of Detroit Public Schools, he served honorably in the U.S. Army as an interpreter in North Africa and Italy during World War 11. Following his discharge from the Army, he worked as a millright for Great Lakes Steel, retiring after 34 years. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Lincoln Park "Nat" recently moved from Southgate to live with his cousins in Bellaire. He is survived by his cousins Richard (Alice) DeGiuli of Bellaire, Julia DeGiuli also of Bellaire, Joan Linden of Cadillac, Loretta (Jack) Snyder also of Cadillac and a host of other relatives. Family will receive friends from 7pm to 9pm Wednesday April 3 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday April 4 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire. Interment will be in Southern cemetery, Central Lake Township.

DOUGALL, WILLIAM E., 75, of Detroit passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2002. He had been a resident of the Frederick House in Henry Ford Village in Dearborn for the last four and a half years. A. U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, he was employed by the Cadillac Motor Car Division of General Motors as a stationary power plant engineer at the time of his retirement in 1982. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Allen W. and Lillian M. Dougall and his brother John Gillisie. He is survived by his sister-in-law Lola Gillisie, longtime partner, Beatrice Rose of Oak Park, Michigan. Bill Dougall was a distinguished high powered rifle marksman who represented the United States on winning teams in the international Palma Matches several times in the 1960s and 1970s. After the conclusion of his GM and marksmanship careers, he established a rifle gunsmithing business which catered to his fellow marksmen. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the United States Shooting Team, in care of the NRA or the Michigan Alzeheimer s Assoc. Visitation will be at the Voran Funeral Home, in Dearborn on Tuesday, April 2, 2002 from 1-9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 3, 2002 from 1-7 p.m. A short memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the Voran Funeral Home, which is located at 23701 Ford Rd (Dearborn Chapel).

JASKIEWICZ, ZYGMUND F. "ZIGGY" Age 72. of Canadian Lakes passed away Wednesday March 27, 2002 following a brief battle with cancer. He was born May 17, 1929 in Detroit to Stanley and Anna (Dutka) Jaskiewicz. Ziggy attended Chadsey High School. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He married the former Geraldine Isenberg on June 2, 1962 at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church in Taylor, Michigan. Ziggy worked for A. T. Jones and Sons Locksmith for a time and later for the City of Detroit, Water Department. He retired in 1992 and in the fall of that year he and Geri moved to Canadian Lakes community. He was a member of their Senior Golf League, the Canadian Lakes Players, the Canadian Lakes Bowling League, and treasurer of the Canadian Lakes Fishing Club. He is survived by his wife Geraldine "Geri" of Canadian Lakes. Sisters Jean Dzbanski of Deroit, Stella Mytych of Dearborn Heights. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides his parents, Ziggy was preceded in death by a brother, Thaddeus "Ted" Jaskiewicz. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 6th at St. Michaels Catholic Parish in Remus, Michigan with Father Bill Zink officiating. Memorial contributions in Ziggy s name may be made to St. Michael s Catholic Parish, the Canadian Lakes Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to the Daggert-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
