SMITH, VINCENT ST.CLAIR Age 39. passed away Monday a.m. Feb.2, 1998 in Hermann Hospital, Houston, TX from complications with his lifelong battle with Juvenile Diabetes. Vincent was born Oct. 14, 1958 to the marriage of Martha L. Myers and Louis Butler Smith. Vincents mother and father preceded his death in recent years. A devoted and loving son, brother and uncle, Vincent never married but is survived by 3 sisters Tzena Maria, Dr.LaTisha Smith of Houston TX., Valencia Ann and her husband Timothy O'Connell; 2 brothers, Daniel Aaron and Louis Butler Jr. and his wife Lourie S. and their son Xavier Alexander and many relatives and a host of friends whom he loved dearly and mourn his loss. After his graduation from Michigan State Univ. and the Univ. of Ohio Graduate School, Vincent spent 17 yrs. of his life in San Francisco, CA, most recently as a Professor at San Francisco State University and also as the Personal Computer Manager at California Institute of Integral Studies, from where he also obtained his Master of Business Arts Degree. A memorial service will be held in the coming weeks at St. Colomba Church, Emeryville, CA. Visitation will be Saturday morning Feb. 7, 1998 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, 1000 St.Anne St., Detroit. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood cemetery in Detroit.
