MILLER, RALPH LOXLY, Age 88, of North Branch, formerly of Mt. Clemens and Madison Heights, died Monday, December 3, 2001 at the Fisher Convalescent Home in Mayville. Funeral services will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville with Reverend Terry Balogh officiating. Interment will take place at the Christian Cultural Memorial Center in Rochester, MI. Family will receive visitors from 12-9 P.M. Wednesday at the Avram Funeral Home, and from 10 A.M. until time of service at the Church Thursday. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund. Ralph was born March 23, 1913 in Detroit, MI to Roy and Hazel (Crosby) Miller and married Grace Harn. He worked at Pfeiffer Brewery and retired after thirty-eight years from the Pfeiffer Brewery and the Budweiser Brewery. He served in the Army and was a member of the #457 North Branch American Legion and also a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. He is survived by two daughters: Sandra A. (Vadeboncoeur) Battisti of Salinas, CA. and Pamela A. (Edward) Leplow of Sterling Heights, one son: Alan R. (Laura) Miller of North Branch, one sister: Lillian Carroll of Chesterfield Twp., nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Grace and also his parents.
