JACOB, JANET, The last survivor of a large merchant family she was the sister of Heim Jacob, Abraham Jacob, Reba Rashti, Irwin Jacob, Rose Schermer, Frieda Jacob and Morris Jacob. Aunt Janet sold hosiery at Cunningham s after World War II, then she sold fine women s wear at Belle Jacob s. She was born in Atlantic City, she lived in Detroit, St. Petersburg, and Sacramento. CARRUTHERS, GEORGE BARTLET on Friday May 26, 2000 at Chatham, Ontario, in his 74th year. survived by his wife Sewell Ann McKeough Carruthers; his sister Mardi Carruthers of Detroit; his daughter and son-in-law Lynn and John Park; two grandchildren Charlotte and George Park all of Detroit.
