SWANSON, WALTER, Age 87. February 2, 1998. He married Viola Marie Schroeder on November 25, 1936 in Detroit and she preceded him in death on November 14, 1958. He then married Dorothy L. Preibe (Pushman) on July 26, 1961 in Southgate and she preceded him in death on June 28, 1987. He was member of the Detroit Police Officers Association. Mr. Swanson was a Detroit Police Officer for 33 years.
