ALLPORT, HAROLD S., Age 77, of Jacksonville, FL., formerly of Detroit, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 1998. He was born January 18, 1921 in Boyne City, MI. Mr. Allport had retired from the City of Detroit and had also been employed by the Duval County, FL. courts. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Eva; son, Bryan; daughters, Palma McConnaughey and Sheila Allport; and two grandchildren, Carrie and Sean, all of Jacksonville. Private services will be held.
