SINGER, FERN L., 100, passed away on December 31, 2001 at Grayson View Assisted Living, Harrisburg, PA., where she resided. She is survived by 3 nephews: Richard J. Lamb of Brighton, MI; Warren Singer of Omena, MI, and David G. Lamb of Harrisburg, PA, as well as 10 grand-nieces and nephews, and numerous great grand nieces and nephews. Ms. Singer lived most of her life in Detroit and Harper Woods, MI, and retired in 1966 from Chrysler & Koppin in Detroit, MI where she had been office manager for 30 years. Throughout her life she was actively involved in her church, Bethany Christian Church, 5901 Cadieux Rd., Detroit, MI 48224, where she served as Church Secretary for over 40 years, as Secretary/Finance Committee and as "official hostess" for the church for numerous years. During her senior years she was an avid reader and spent much time assisting and caring for others. SULLIVAN, VINCENT M. As a major part of suburban Detroit's development, Vincent Sullivan was a principal in Sullivan and Smith, a major builder in the 70's and 80's. Over 35 years he helped develop hundreds of homes and apartments in the Southfield, Dearborn, Plymouth and surrounding communities. Upon retiring, he and his wife Marian moved to California. On Dec 20, 2001, Vincent passed at the age of 89. His wife Marion who still resides in Coronado, California survives Vincent; along with their five children, Christine Hoagland (Westland, MI), Dyane O'Sullivan (San Francisco, CA), Dori Sullivan (Coronado, CA), John Sullivan (Coronado, CA), Robert Sullivan (Dallas, TX); brother, Leo Sullivan (Brighton, MI), sisters; Dorothy Hopkins (Oceanside, CA) and Esther Choma (Grand Rapids, MI); and 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

KELLY, WILLIAM CHARLES 78, of Temperance, Michigan and North Port, Florida died Tuesday, February 10, 1998 in North Port. He was born December 2, 1919 in Washington, D.C. and was a long-term Michigan resident. He spent the past seven winters in North Port, Florida. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II from March 1942 to October 1943 as a Second Lieutenant. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in August 1947. A retired engineer during his career, he worked for Chrysler Corp., Gulf Oil, General Motors, Jeep, Wagner Electric, and AM General Corporation. He was a member of the American Society of Engineers. He married the former Faye Louise Burdick on September 5, 1942. She predeceased him on April 18, 1988. He had three brothers - Charles, Francis, and John. John has survived him and lives with his wife Charlotte, in North Port, Florida. He is also survived by four children - Flora Gibson of Ridgewood, New Jersey, Claire Kelly of Glen Echo, Maryland, Will Kelly of Tucson, Arizona, and Paul Kelly of Fairfield, Connecticut - two sons-in-law, Rob Gibson and David Chitwood, one daughter-in-law, Lynn McNamara, and six grandchildren - Rob and Hjordie Gibson; Drew, Ben, and Reed Kelly; and Ryan Chitwood. Visitation and services were held in North Port, Florida on February 12th and 13th. Burial and a graveside service are planned for Monday, March 2, 1998 in Grand Lawn cemetery in Detroit, Michigan through the Neely-Turowski Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan.
