BERZAC, ANDREW JOSEPH Age 89, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died December 29, 2001 in Castle Rock, Colorado. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Detroit, Michigan. Andrew was born on March 22, 1912 in Leckrone, Pennsylvania, the son of Andrew Joseph and Sophia (Kinnick) Berzac. On September 3, 1938 he married Pauline Louise Struhar in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Pauline preceded him in death on May 4, 1998. Andrew owned and operated several Service Stations in Detroit. A former Mason, he was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed pool, boating, baseball, yahztee and gardening. Andrew lived in St. Clair Shores, MI from 1940 until 1996 when he and his wife retired to Scottsdale, AZ. For the last two years he has lived with his daughter and son. Andrew is survived by his children: Susan Berzac and her husband Ralph Jollensten of Castle Rock, Colorado and Tom Berzac and his companion Gail Bluhm of Waterford, MI, one grandson Gunther Kenefic, of Birmingham, MI, three sisters: Helen Gorsuch of Louisville, CO, Sue McCulla of Clinton, Mass., and Sophie Batchik of Rochester Hills, MI. She was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and Women in Engineering. NEILL, EDWARD C., of Bloomfield Hills, formerly of Franklin, MI., died December 30, 2001. Preceded in death by wife Ruth. Age 82 years. Ed was a native of western Pennsylvania and a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College. Served in the Armed Forces during WWII with the rank of Captain. Employed by Armstrong World Industries: enjoyed his 40 year career in field sales management in Detroit, Atlanta and Milwaukee. He was very active in community affairs in Franklin for many years. Prior to his death, he was a member of the Bloomfield Hills Planning Commission and a volunteer history presenter at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Mr. Neill was a member of the Birmingham Senior Men's club as well as the Congregational Church of Birmingham. He is survived by his son, Tom and his wife Jane, and Grandson Dave, who reside in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Further survived by sister-in-law Mildred, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visitation Saturday January 5th, 2002 at the Congregational Church of Birmingham from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at 10000 Cranbrook Road, Bloomfield Hills. Friends may join the family at 11:00 for a Christian service with burial immediately following at the Franklin Community cemetery. We praise God for His wondrous blessings throughout Ed's life.
