MUNROE, HELEN MAE, Age 90 of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Detroit, died Friday, December 29, 2000 at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Born in Detroit, she has been a winter resident in St. Petersburg since 1948 and moved to St. Petersburg permanently in 1983 from Ferndale, MI. She worked as the assistant to the City Manager for the City of Ferndale for 20 years. She was then the Court Clerk for the City of Royal Oak, MI for 15 years until her retirement. She was a Charter & Life member of Chapter #460 O.E.S. in Ferndale, where she served as the chaplain and secretary for many years. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg and a volunteer for both Neighborly Senior Services and the Apollo Hospital (now Vencor). She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, James J. Munroe. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Munroe of St. Petersburg, FL. STEPP, ASHLEY MARY Born May 13, 1986. Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on January 2, 2001. Dearest daughter of John and Debbie (nee Bugaj). Beloved sister to Emily, Zachary and Jacob. Grandparents Judith Stepp and Jean Bugaj. Waiting in Heaven with open arms are grandfathers John Stepp and Fred Bugaj, and godfather Vince Marinelli. Ashley was our angel on Earth, a gentle blessing from God whose courageous spirit inspired all around her. Although her life was too brief, her effect on us was profound. WILSON, GEORGE M., 82, of Port Richey, FL, formerly of Royal Oak. passed away on December 30, 2000 at Bear Creek Nursing Center, Hudson, FL. He was born in Toronto, Canada and lived in Michigan for 60 years before moving to Port Richey in 1979. He was a retired purchasing agent for Chrysler Corp. He was a member of St. Mark s Presbyterian Church, Hudson. He was a member of the Timber Oaks Civic Assoc. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, two sons, Daniel G. of Waterford and David Anthony of Munith. Daughter Suzanne Smith of Lake Orion. Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
