She was born on July 26, 1918 in Detroit, MI and was a daughter of the late Claude Mary (Sharlow) Bates. Mrs. Jensen is a retired postal worker at the Fort St. Branch in Detroit. She is survived by a son Robert (Gloria) Jensen and their daughter Erin of Hersey; and her daughter Barbara Jensen and her daughter Deanna Attee of Plymouth.
