She was born on July 26, 1918 in Detroit, MI and was a daughter of the late Claude Mary (Sharlow) Bates. Mrs. Jensen is a retired postal worker at the Fort St. Branch in Detroit. She is survived by a son Robert (Gloria) Jensen and their daughter Erin of Hersey; and her daughter Barbara Jensen and her daughter Deanna Attee of Plymouth. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2000 at the Country Way Apartments Community Room in Big Rapids, MI.
