KULLMAN, EDNA WARNER, of Ann Arbor. Born on December 13, 1906 in Shiawassee County to the late Warren B. and Lola Parsons Warner. In 1918 she moved with her parents to Ann Arbor, where she was graduated from Ann Arbor High School and the University of Michigan in 1927. Edna married Dr. Harold Kullman of Detroit in 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1972. Edna is also preceded in death by a brother Ralph P. Warner, and a sister Beulah Warner. She was a long time resident of Dearborn before returning to Ann Arbor in 1978. Edna is survived by two nieces Bonnie (Mark) Mathisen and Sandra (Edward) Weinthaler. Inurnment will take place in Union Plains cemetery. Arrangements by Muehlig Funeral Chapel.

PAPINEAU, LeROY "LEO" FRANCIS passed away Friday, March 2, 2001 after a brief stay at Tendercare of Gaylord in Gaylord, Michigan. Since 1946, LeRoy had lived in Detroit. He was born June 12, 1914 in Ontonagon, MI, son of the late Andrew and Mary (Charboneau) Papineau. After graduation from Ontonagon High School, Leo enrolled as a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps ("CCC s") at Camp Mackinac. Less than one year later he accepted employment with the Ford Motor Company in Detroit and remained there until 1942 when he joined the United States Army. Leo served in the 81st Quartermaster Company in the southern Philippines. In January, 1946 he was honorably discharged and nine days later on January 19, married Mary Gertrude (Dillon) Herzog. Gertrude preceded Leo in death November 15, 1986. After his military service he became an employee with the Detroit Postal Service as a letter carrier. He retired from the postal service 26 years later. Leo s interests included flower gardening, dancing, bowling and swimming. During his retirement, the Farmington Hills Senior Center and the North American Indian Association became his favorite places to be enjoying his many friends and all the activities. Also preceding in death were brothers, Joseph, Andrew and Ellis Papineau, Norman and Eugene Knickerbocker and sisters, Mary (Papineau) Kangas, Josephine (Papineau) Hegna, Emaline (Papineau) Shay, Agnes (Knickerbocker) Nordin and Arbella Knickerbocker. Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Grant Papineau of Beulah, MI, Arnold Knickerbocker of Wauneta, Nebraska and Ruth (Knickerbocker) Killoran of Ontonagon, MI. One step-sister, Christana (Knickerbocker) Listerman of Midland, MI and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a spring burial will be at Fort Custer National cemetery in Augusta, MI.
