KORONA, HELEN D., age 80, passed away March 14, 1999. She was born on January 26, 1918 to John and Kathryn (Mesick) Waselewsky in Detroit, MI. She was a resident of Detroit for 75 years and a member of the Polish Legion of Veterans (PLAV) and a former member of St. Christopher. Helen was the loving mother of Kathleen (Wayne) (Sullivan) Crosato of Salem Township, and Christine (William) Hurley of South Lyon. Her two sisters Anna Gunn and Martha Korona, one grandson Martin Hurley also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin Korona in 1961, her son Richard Korona in 1943, and grandson Fredrick Sullivan in 1985.
