DAY, LLOYD J., age 81 of Kewadin, formerly of Grosse Pointe Park, April 11, 1998. He was born April 16, 1916, in Detroit to Elizabeth Brannigan and James Day. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was educated at the University of Detroit in Engineering. He was a member of IBEW Local #58. After retiring in 1978, he made his home in Elk Rapids where he was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City and the Golden K, as well as Sacred Heart Catholic Church. On April 16, 1943, he was married to Marion Mullins, who preceded him in death in 1985. Father of Virginia Hauser, Marion (Peter Levine) Day, Kevin (Brenda) Day, Kathleen Day, Michael Day, Daniel (Paulette) Day and the late Patricia Day.
