BONUS, ISABELLE J. "Toots" 71, of Shelby Twp. Died peacefully Thursday, April 12, 2001 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 24, 1929 in Detroit. Mrs. Bonus worked as an assistant buyer for Himelhoch s before becoming a homemaker who devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Later in life she returned to the workforce and was a proud retiree of Crowley s. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard E. Bonus; children, Janel A. (Stephen) Gessert of Midland, Richard A. Bonus of Paris, France, Jill A. (Thomas) Ignasiak of Macomb and Mark J. (Sharon) Bonus, also of Macomb; sisters Shirley Swanson and Jacqueline Skutar; grandchildren, Andrew and David Gessert, Nicole and Bryan Ignasiak, and Lauren and Megan Bonus. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Mylenek, and brother Gerald Mylenek. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Kieran s Catholic Church, 53600 Mound Rd., Shelby Twp. Entombment will be in Resurrection cemetery.
