Jesus Frankcis Villar, 46, of Jerome, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at his home. He was born December 21, 1963 in Detroit to Arnaldo and Alejandrina (Martinez) Villar and they survive.
Frank was a 1982 graduate of Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights. Frank is survived by his father Arnaldo Villar of Greenacres, Florida; his mother, Alejandrina Reyes, of the Republic of Dominica; and a brother, Arnold 'Alex' Villar of Greenacres, Florida.
Graveside funeral services for Jesus 'Frank' Villar will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Jerome cemetery, Somerset Township, with Rev. Clyde Wonders officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home, Jonesville.

Sue Spencer, 81, of St. Helen passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, at the West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch. She was born on September 27, 1928, in Delta, Ohio, the daughter of Paul & Valleda (Bittikofer) Mizer. On September 26, 1953, in Delta, Ohio, she married Arlington "Wink" Frantz. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1980. On September 20, 1985, in Delta, Ohio, she married Merlyn "Bud" Spencer and he survives.
Sue had lived in the Morenci area most all of her life working at Toledo Trust in Toledo, Ohio, and then at 1st Federal in Wauseon, Ohio, from where she retired in 1984, after fourteen years of service.
Besides her husband, Bud, Sue is survived by three daughters, Debby (Rick) Gleckler of Wauseon, Ohio, Lynne (Kenneth) Shadbolt of Morenci and Karen (Tim) Donahue Pinkelman of Lyons, Ohio; two sons, Jeffrey (Lori) Frantz of Clinton and Michael Frantz of Morenci; fourteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Keller of Delta, Ohio, and Donna Ellis of Colchester, Vermont; and two brothers, Jack Mizer of Sylvania, Ohio, and Tom Mizer of Medina, Ohio.
Besides her first husband, Wink, Sue was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Iris Mizer; and a son in law, Dennis Donahue.
Funeral service will be on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Pastor Mitch Maxted officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove cemetery in Morenci. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2 until 8 PM.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.

Lee Pershing Branson, age 68, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at his home. He was born November 11, 1941 in Big Sandy, West Virginia to William Wolter & Maxine (Eggly) Branson. He was married January 31, 1983 to Lovern McKenzie and she survives.
Lee was a retired iron worker and a veteran of the United States Army.
Besides his wife Lovern, he is survived by a daughter, Nickie (Michael) Martin of St. Francis, Arkansas; a son Gaylon Walls of Redford; a sister, Donna Devins; three brothers, Lewis (Patty) Branson, Tommy Branson, and Buster Branson; two grandchildren, Jackie and Gayleen Fultz.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Branson.
There will be no services or calling hours at this time for Lee P. Branson. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.

Lyle J. Dopp, 75, of Fayette, passed away late Sunday evening, May 30, 2010, at Heartland of Wauseon. He was born on October 5, 1934, in Hudson, MI, to the late John William and Marvel (Osmun) Dopp. He married Lila Jones on March 1, 1984 in Wauseon, and she survives.
Lyle graduated from Chesterfield High School in 1953, and spent his life farming and working at various factories, most recently the Foundry in Lyons. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Nascar and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
Surviving Lyle besides his wife, Lila, are two sons, Nathan (Michelle) Dopp of Holgate, OH, and Doug Pfund of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Deb (John) Felix and Delene (Don) Toia all of Tucson, AZ; four brothers, Paul (Margaret) Dopp of Kosciusko, MS, William (Vickie) Dopp of Archbold, OH, Dale (Sherry) Dopp of Jackson, MI, and Roger Dopp of Findlay, OH; one sister, Judy Vanderveer of Morenci, MI; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Lyle Dopp will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette with Pastor Verne Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Union cemetery in Fayette. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

Dr. Lucio O. SayGan, 69, of Hillsdale, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born December 13, 1940 in the Philippines to Procopio & Rosa (Ong) SayGan. He was first married March 24, 1968 to Justina O. "Lily" Ong, she preceded him in death June 5, 1986. He was married July 30, 1988 to Jean Lim and she survives.
Dr. SayGan received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. His surgical training and residency were completed through the St. John's Hospital in Detroit. In 1974, he established his practice at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. Dr. SayGan maintained a thriving practice for 36 years in the Hillsdale community.
Outside of his family and work as a physician, Dr. SayGan was an avid golfer and former member of the Hillsdale Golf & Country Club. Dr. SayGan was an artist all his life, and in the last ten years enjoyed sharing his artwork with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Jackson and Hillsdale Art Guilds.
Surviving besides his wife Jean are five daughters, Jennifer SayGan and her husband Robert Bonham of Santa Monica, California, Jessica (Scott) Reno of Monterrey, Mexico, Jacqueline SayGan and her husband Jason Clark of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Joni SayGan and her husband Derek Stoffers of Royal Oak, Michigan and Jasmine SayGan attending college in Georgetown, Texas; four grandchildren, Ian & Lucas Bonham and Michael & Kate Stoffers; a sister, Myrna (Teddy) Ulep of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Robert (Doris) SayGan of Grosse Ile, Michigan, James (Astrid) SayGan of Columbus, Ohio and Mike (Cris) SayGan of Troy, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Lily.
A mass of Christian burial for Dr. Lucio SayGan will be Monday, May 24, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hillsdale with Fr. Thomas Butler as celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 P.M. and Sunday from 3-6 with a prayer vigil service Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.

Marilyn J. Campbell, 78, of Fayette, passed away Friday evening, June 4, 2010, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, following complications from a stroke. She was born on January 29, 1932, in Fulton County, OH to the late Harold and Geneva (Kline) Huntley. She married LaVon Campbell on August 15, 1978, in Tazewell, TN, and he survives.
Marilyn graduated from Gorham Fayette High School Class of 1950. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Dutch Village store in West Unity, and had previously worked many years at the former Foodland store in Fayette. Marilyn’s greatest passions in her life were her grandchildren and gardening.
Surviving Marilyn besides her husband, LaVon, are one son, Thomas (Bonnie) Berry of Bellefontaine, OH; five daughters, Sandra (Matt) Crommer of Waldron, MI, Brenda Richardson (Bill Dickey) of Waldron, Lisa Meyers of West Unity, Rebecca Metcalf of Cement City, MI, and Vickie Betz of Queens Creek, AZ; a sister Janet Crisenbery of Flippin, AR; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by two siblings, Martha Moore and Gene Huntley.
A funeral service for Marilyn Campbell will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette with Rev. Aden Porter and Rev. Winston Hatcliff officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant View Union cemetery in Fayette. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 4-8 p.m.

Melvin L. “Babe” Jones, 90, of N. Fayette St., Fayette, passed away early Friday morning, April 23, 2010, at his home. He was born July 24, 1919, in Dearborn, MI to the late William and Cora (Park) Jones. He married Pauline Bacon at the Wauseon Methodist Church on March 2, 1940, and they shared 70 years of marriage.
Babe grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, where he graduated from Henry Ford Trade School, and began his career as a Tool & Die Maker. He came to Fayette in the late 1930’s, assuming a role in the construction of the Fayette Manufacturing Plant. It was in Fayette where he met Pauline, the love of his life, and made countless friendships and bonds too numerous to name. Babe proudly served his country in World War II, serving two years in the United States Navy in the South Pacific. Babe later founded Quality Tube Service in 1970, and served as the President of the company until his passing. In 2008, Babe and Pauline were crowned King and Queen of the Fulton County Fair.
Babe, a true outdoorsman and avid sports fan, was a member of numerous organizations including Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Wild Turkey Foundation, White Tail Foundation, the National Firearms Association, and the Fayette Athletic Boosters. He collected art prints, duck decoys, and he enjoyed attending antique car shows, traveling, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving Babe besides his wife, Pauline, are one daughter, Joyce (Jim) Fruchey of Fayette; a son, Jamie (Sandy) Jones of Big Rapids, MI; a brother, Chester Jones of Leesburg, FL; two grandchildren, Brian (Lesley) Fruchey and Corey (Melanie) Fruchey all of Fayette; five great-grandchildren, Hailey (Dustin) Tuley, and McKenzie, Alexis, Kelsey, and Trista Fruchey; and two step-great grandchildren, Tyler and Katelyn Downing.
Babe was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Clifford, Merle, Harold, Donald, and Raymond; two sisters, Twila Jones in infancy, and Dorothy Brockmiller.
A funeral service for Babe Jones will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fayette United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Currier officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Union cemetery in Fayette. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette on Sunday, from 1-8 p.m., and on Monday, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church.

On June 2, 2010, our precious Angel Mattie Elizabeth Powell age 5 of Fayette, OH earned her wings and flew home to be with the Lord. Mattie had a great day. She played, did crafts, took pictures and gave Mommy and Daddy Hugs and Kisses all before taking a nap. When she woke up she was in the presence of the Lord. Mattie fought a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with brain and bone cancer. Mattie had a beautiful smile that filled the room with joy. She touched many lives in her short lifetime.
Mattie is survived by her Parents Duane and Sara (Aubry) Powell, Sister Hanna Powell. Grandparents: Carolyn Powell, Marie Aubry, Dave (Marcia) Aubry. Aunts: Ann Aubry (Ted Rundio), Beth (Ron) Black, and Becky Powell (Burt Hasch). Uncles: Marc (Sarah) Aubry, Kevin Powell. Cousins: Justin Dickerson, Katie, Reggie, and Payton Black, Raymond Powell, Jackson and Claire Aubry. Great Uncles & Aunts: David & Karen O'Grady, Kevin & Kay O'Grady, Dan & Cynthy Kleman, Larry & Joanne Barron, Chester & Grace Hartwell and all her special friends she has meet during her journey.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Toledo Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospice of Fulton County for everything they did to make Mattie's time during her journey special. The family would also like to thank everyone who sent Mattie Christmas and Birthday cards and all the support and prayers.

Celebration of Mattie's Life will be Monday, June 7th at 11 a.m. at St. Casper Church, 1205 N. Shoop Ave., Wauseon, OH with visitation one hour prior to service.
