Beulah M. Cooper, 88, of Lapeer, died Saturday (April 6, 2002), at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
She was born June 18, 1913, in Saginaw, to Bernie and Ethel (Anderson) Lochwood. She married Cecil George Copper in Pontiac on Sept. 30, 1933. She was a member of the Beulah Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Marvin Ray (Loretta Muzzy) of Charleroi, Pa., Kaedonna L. Spear of Flint; daughter-in-law, Bonnie of Lapeer; grandchildren, Ted, Lori, Angela, Tammy, Beverly, Chris, Steve, Mark and Willie; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Cooper in 1973; son, Roy L. in 2000; brothers, Don and Eugene; sister, Eleanor.

Funeral services were Wednesday (April 10, 2002) at Baird-Newton Funeral Home, Lapeer. The Rev. Robert W. Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Ottawa Park cemetery, Clarkston.

Gerald E. Budreau, Jr., 35, of Fostoria, died Saturday (April 6, 2002).
He was born Aug. 6, 1966 in Royal Oak.
He lived in Fostoria all his life. He loved snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, motorcycling and bowling. He was a carpenter and belonged to the Mayville Eagles.
He is survived by his fiancˇ, Alisa Maxson of Fostoria; brothers, Steve of Fostoria, Jonathan of Fostoria and Tony of Grand Blanc; sisters, Brenda (Frank) Buhl of Mayville and Tori of Mayville; parents, Gerald Sr. and Karen (June) Budreau; nieces, Jenna and Bobie Su; nephews, Justin, Frankie and Zack; and special companion, Brandy.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Meleny Johnson; and grandparents, Raymond and Marie June, and Nora Budreau.
Memorials may be made to the Family Trust Fund.
Visitation was Wednesday (April 10, 2002) at Avram Funeral Home, Mayville. Funeral services were Wednesday (April 10, 2002) at Avram Funeral Home, Mayville. The. Rev. John Ball officiated. Burial was in the Watertown Township cemetery.

Jack Leroy Cobb, 65, of Ferndale, died Friday (April 5, 2002) at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
He was born June 24, 1936 in Ferndale.
He served in the Army from 1959-1961. He owned Cobb Plumbing in Ferndale.
He is survived by his children, Tracey L. (Kirk) Featherston of Oxford and Shannon M. of Royal Oak; and grandson, Nathan.

Davison
Marion Urquhart, 91, of Davison (formerly of Ashland and Washburn, Wis.), died Thursday (April 4, 2002).
She was born Aug. 15, 1910, in Ashland, Wis., to Jim and Carry (Hoston) Culhane. She married John Urquhart.
She taught school in Ashland, Wis. for a while. When she moved to Washburn she worked in the meat department, often managing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Diane) Urquhart of The Villages, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Urquhart in 1976; daughter, Karen Scheaffer in 1990; sisters, Amy, Helen and Rae.

Theresa Gillmore, 88, of Lapeer (formerly of Davison), died Thursday (April 4, 2002) at McLaren Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 12, 1913.
She operated Potters Lake Grocery Store and Gas Station for several years.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Kevin (Trudy) Allen of Davison, Christina (Douglas) Clark of Davison, Kelly (Derek) Clark of Grand Blanc; great-grandchildren, David Allen, Kevin Allen II, Eric Allen, Scott Clark, Christopher Clark, Jazmine and Nathan Clark; great-great-granddaughter, Rebekah Belle Allen; and sisters, Helen (Dan) Kriener of Billings, Mont., Gertrude St. Onge of Whitefish, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steven; mother, Alice; daughter, Geraldine Marston; and brothers, Joe and Steven.
Visitation were Sunday (April 7, 2002) at Allen Funeral Home, Davison. A scripture service also was Sunday.
Funeral Mass was Monday (April, 8, 2002) at St. Johns Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. The Rev. Leroy White officiated. Burial was in St. Johns Catholic cemetery.

Henry J. Cheney

Henry J. Cheney, 61, of North Branch, died April 2, 2002 at Harper University Hospital.
He was born Dec. 23, 1940, in Lum, to Clarence and Mabel (Schalau) Cheney. He married Mary Olson in Lapeer on May 21, 1962.
He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He attended North Branch Baptist Church. He was a carrier for The County Press.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Corinne (Todd) Enright of Louden, Tenn., Mary (David) Balkevitch of Warren, Becky (Todd) Kleinknecht of North Branch, Henry II (Jennifer) of North Branch, Pamela of North Branch, Ivi (Ryan) Goss of North Branch, Violet of North Branch; grandchildren, Heidi, Becky Sue, Michael, Rachel, Heather, Stephanie, Brandi, Bryan, Henry III, Dustin, Tami, Tyler, Katie, Kevin, Kyle, Jacob and one grandchild yet to be born; step-father, Earl McInnes of Clarkston; sisters, Alice (Bob) Dwyer, Clara Dotson, and Nancy (George) Wright; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Craig Burch and Scott Walthers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel McInnes in March 1991; father, Clarence Cheney; sisters, Marsha Snyder and Dora DeGroat; parents-in-law, Elizabeth Olson and Wilbur Olson.

Rebekah Ann St. Clair-Wildfong, 24, of Mayville, died Tuesday (April 2, 2002).
She was born April 23, 1977, in Rochester, to Cheryl Sherwin. She married Steven Wildfong at the Deerfield Church of Christ on Aug. 31, 1996.
She graduated from Mayville High School in 1995 and was a past president of the Mayville FFA and a regional officer. She received her bachelor's degree in 2000 and master's degree in 2001 from the Saginaw Valley State University. She was planning to attend law school in August. She enjoyed raising pigs, roller-skating, scrap books and stamping.
She is survived by her husband, Steven of Mayville; daughters, Alexis and Morgan; parents, Chuck and Cheryl Sherwin of Mayville; sisters, Dawn (Warren) Short of Lapeer, Jennifer (Richard) Soye of Forest Lake, Minn. and Rachel (Michael) Gonzales of Caro; brother, Nathan Sherwin of Mayville; three nieces; six nephews; parents-in-law, Bob and Anna Wildfong of Lapeer; grandmothers, June McWethy of Evart and Marian Sherwin of Imlay City.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kyle McWethy and Jim Sherwin.

Christine Hill, 72, of McEwen, Tenn. (formerly of Capac), died Tuesday (April 2, 2002) after a long illness.
She was born July 9, 1929.
She was a homemaker, she enjoyed bird watching, reading romance novels and golfing.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Cheryl) of Clio, Harold (Judy) of Florida, Deborah (Larry) Davidson of Tennessee, Landres (Robert) Skornicka of Oxford; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert on Jan. 11, 2002; and great-grandson, Shaun Gallagher.
Funeral services were Friday (April 5, 2002) at Christian Memorial cemetery Chapel. Burial was in Christian Memorial cemetery, Rochester Hills.
