Harold E. Butler, 74, of Davison, died Saturday (Oct. 12, 2002), at McLaren Regional Center.
He was born Nov. 14, 1927, in Latrobe, Pa., to Edwin and Elizabeth Butler.
He served in the Merchant Marines and the Army during World War II. He was a field engineer for the CHMP architectural firm. He was a member of the North Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Daniel; daughters, Judy Rucker, Sue Sharma and Betsy Felton; 11 grandchildren, brothers, Edwin T. Butler and Robert Butler; sister, Lois Worbois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie; daughter, Karen Dowling; a grandson, parents, Edwin and Elizabeth Butler; and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Baptist Church Building Fund.
Funeral services were Wednesday (Oct. 16) at the North Baptist Church, Flint. Dr. Thomas Kimbrough and Dr. Joseph Bower officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Madeline Joyce McCorry, 71, of Mancelona, died Oct. 9, 2002, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
She was born May 6, 1931, in Almont to Charles Ralph and Lila Bell (Corby) Stannard. She graduated from Almont High School in 1948. She married Thomas McCorry on June 3, 1950, in Angola, Ind.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Paul McCorry of Mancelona; children, Paul McCorry of Shelby Township, Dani (Glen) Trochelman of Hanover Park, Ill., Terry McCorry of Chicago, Ill, Doran McCorry of Romulus and Kevin McCorry of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon (Jerry) Mays of Orion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Christopher C. McCorry on Feb. 25, 1999.

She was born April 9, 1949, in Flint to William and May Ann (Hodges) Thompson.
She was a cook at the ColumbiaVilla Restaurant.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Dwayne) Burda of Lapeer, Patricia Svoboda of Prescott, Lee Warner of Columbiaville and Austin Warner of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Alyssa Burda, Jamie Burda, Chrissy Burda, Holly Burda, Andrew Tidrick, Rochelle Gothem, Casey Svoboda, Kaitlin Svoboda and Robyn Svoboda; siblings, Kathleen Osbun of Lapeer, William D. (Bethel) Thompson of Lapeer, Martha Hinds of North Branch, Peggy (James) Madden of Kentucky, Kay (Larry) Hazelwood of Lum, Tena (Terry) Meyer of North Branch, Harold Thompson of Columbiaville and Kelly (Sharon) Thompson of Lapeer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tena Tidrick on Jan. 31; and her parents.

Funerals services were Friday (Oct. 11) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The Rev. Don Hadley officiated. Burial was in Dawn Memorial cemetery, Elba.

Robert G. Curell, 51, of Clifford, died Wednesday (Oct. 9, 2002).
He was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Brown City, to Remy and Gladys (Hobson) Curell.
He grew up in the Fostoria area and graduated from North Branch High School in 1970. Before his illness he enjoyed working on cars. He liked to travel, watch movies and was a member of the Luzerne Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Nina Curell of Georgia; son, Randy Curell of Oklahoma; sister, Linda (Arthur) Crawford of North Branch; brother, Charles (Connie) Curell of Vassar; aunts and uncles, Mary (Merton) Hobson of Clifford; Lillie Mae (Jack) Main of South Lyon, Muriel Brannon of Florida, Eula Curell of Clifford, Jessie Curell of North Branch, Janet Curell of North Branch, Max (Jean) Curell of Mayville, Lawrence (June) Curell of Mayville and John Dallas (Elizabeth) Curell of Shelby Township; and many nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jewel Curell; two aunts and six uncles.
Funeral services were Saturday (Oct. 12) at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Curell officiated. Burial was in Deerfield cemetery.

Justin Ross Harrison, 18, of Imlay City died Friday (Oct. 4, 2002) at Lapeer Regional Hospital.
He was born April 26, 1984, in Lapeer, to Larry and Charlene Harrison.
He lived most all of his life in Imlay City and attended Imlay City Schools. He was employed by Webco Press and Crazy Mountain Imports. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Lapeer.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Charlene Harrison of Imlay City; brothers, Richard J. Harper of Lapeer and Brandon K. Harrison of Imlay City; and aunts and uncles, Katrina (Jerry) Meyers Johnson, Beverly (Virgil) Ryan, Jim Harrison, Janet (Elmer) Miller, Margaret McKim, Barbara (Jim) Nighswander, Carol (Wayne) Westbrook, Jerry (Jean) Harrison, Joan Weatherford, Richard (Dawn) Harrison, Donna (Jerry) Hill and Mary (Ray) Strickland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Darrell Curtis, 87, of Lapeer died Monday (Oct. 7, 2002).
He was born May 3, 1915, in Osakis, Minn., to Roy and Helen (Manchester) Curtis. He married Nora Christensen on Aug. 23, 1938.
Darrell was a member of the Roseville Lodge 522, the Free and Accepted Masons and Masonic Lodge 54.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Cathy) Curtis; daughter, Ardith (Dan) Sutter; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nora in 2000.
Funeral services were Thursday (Oct.10). The Rev. Todd Smith officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery in Lapeer.

Thomas P. Wudarcki, 35, of Fostoria and formerly of Ortonville, died Sept. 29, 2002.
He was employed by DaimlerChrysler Corp.
He is survived by his children, Zachary Paul Wudarcki and Mikayla Ann Cunningham; father, Carl Wudarcki of Ortonville; siblings, Dr. Norene W. (Dr. Kenneth) Miller of Vassalboro, Maine, Ann M. Wudarcki of Leonard and John C. (Debra) Wudarcki of Ortonville; and niece and nephew, Lawrence Wudarcki and Elizabeth Wudarcki.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean; sister, Carol Ann; and dear friend, Dusti M. Beebe.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Ortonville. Burial was in the Ortonville cemetery.

Claire E. Golinski

Claire E. Golinski, 85, of Lapeer since 1952 (formerly of Golconda, III), died Monday (Sept. 30, 2002).
She was born Jan. 1, 1917, in Bushman Island, Mo., to John and Bertha (Gullett) Bushman. She married Leo Golinski on March 4, 1939.
She was a member of the Cooperative Extension Homemakers, American Legion Post 16 in Lapeer, and sold Avon Products for over 20 years. She was a wonderful singer, guitar and piano player, and very musically inclined. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Pete) Headrick of Lapeer and David (Denise) Sloan of Colorado; grandchildren, Lea (Jason) Rood of Virginia, Elizabeth (Eric) Smith of California, Niki (Melvin) Schank of North Branch, Irene (Joe) Ladra of Caro, Patty (Jesse) West of Harrison and Amy (Carl) Gajeski of Manistee; 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Willene Ballard of Maryland and Catherine Sue Jennings of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo in 1981; parents; and special family friend, Matthew Waters.
Funeral services were Wednesday (Oct. 2) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lapeer. The Rev. Janusz Iwan officiated. Burial was in the Oregon Township cemetery.
