Mrs. Lila Marie Owens, 78, of Swartz Creek and formerly of Grayling & Lennon, MI and Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2008.
Lila was born in Grayling, MI on July 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Russell and Idessa (King) Beck.
She married Edwin L. Owens on August 21, 1948 in Flint, Michigan.
Lila and her late husband Edwin owned and operated Willow Crest Mobile Home Park in Durand, MI.
She also worked as a gravel truck driver, school bus driver

Richard James (Jim) MacQue, 83, of Grayling passed away on Thursday, July 24th, 2008.
Richard was born in Detroit, MI on November 24, 1924, the son of the late Joseph and Jennie (Schuski).
He served in the U.S. Marines during W.W.II.
He was a member of the Grayling Eagles, VFW, and American Legion.
He married the former Josephine Virgilio on Nov 11, 1965, she preceded him in death in 2004..
Richard is survived by
Daughters: Jacqueline (Thomas) Beck of Florida.
Debra (Douglas) Mowery of Johannesburg, Michigan.
Leslie (Kirk) Soule of Cadillac.
Stephanie (Dennis) Rochette of Gaylord, Michigan.
Sons: Timothy Raybould of Boyne City, Michigan.,
Frederick (Teresa) Raybould II of Grayling.
He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren

Jack Thomas Schmidt, 31, of Grayling passed away on July 14, 2008.
Jack was born on October 28, 1976 in Houma, Louisiana to
Timothy & Ann (Dutile) Schmidt.

Sister: Kelly (Claude) Halstead of Central Lake and her children Kalani, Max, & Mailee.
Jack was preceded in death by: Grandparents; Levine Lee & Toxie Lee Schmidt and Desire' Joseph, Sr. & Loretta Lynn Dutile. Aunt: Diane Schmidt
& Cousins: Donna Prince & Brian Schmidt.
A private family memorial service was held.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday July 19, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the family's home located at 5960 W. Fletcher Rd.

Brian Holley Hundley, 48, of Roscommon, MI., formerly of Waterford, MI passed away Thursday, July 10th, 2008.
Brian was born in Pontiac, MI on May 3, 1960, the son of Holley F. and Leona M. (Davis) Hundley.
He resided in Roscommon since 1990 moving from Waterford area.
He married Debra J. Loomis in 1992 in Waterford, Michigan .
Brian was an avid sportsman.

Mildred Harmer, 84, of Frederic passed away on Thursday, July 3rd, 2008.
Mildred was born in Grayling, MI on March 19, 1924, the daughter of
the late Emery and Gladys Craft.
She was currently employed as an assembly worker at AuSable Woodworking. She previously served Frederic Township as the Clerk.
She was the widow of Eugene Harmer.

Gregory Joseph (Greg) Petrie, 21, of Grayling passed away due to natural causes in a swimming accident while swimming with friends. on Tuesday, July 1st, 2008.
Greg was born in Grayling, MI on June 3, 1987, the son of David Glenn and Kay Marie (Ely) Petrie of Grayling..
Greg was employed in the dietary department at Mercy Hospital. He attended Kirtland Community College and his career goal was nursing. He also enjoyed basketball, soccer, and swimming.

Burial will be at the Elmwood cemetery.
