Beverly J. Krantz
Age 77, of Lincoln Park, died, August 7, 2008. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM Thursday, at Open Door Baptist Church, Midland, MI. Burial will follow in Midland cemetery. Visitaion will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Arrangements under the direction of J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
Bobby J. Robison
Age 88, of Naples, Florida, formerly from Tecumseh, Michigan died July 15, 2008.
He was born September 15, 1919 in Britton Michigan, the son of Leo and Jeanette Robison.
On September 1, 1940 he married June Heath of Tecumseh, Michigan at her sister’s home in Howell, Michigan.
In 1937, Bob graduated from Tecumseh High School earning multiple letters in his favorite subjects of baseball, football, basketball and track.
He spent the next few years working for his father at the local International Harvester Implement business.
In 1953, he transferred his skills to Tecumseh Products and retired in 1981 as Corporate Director of Quality Control.
Bob and June relocated to Naples, Florida in 1981.
There he enjoyed golfing, fishing, attending various sporting events, traveling and spending time with family.
Bob was a Life Member of the Tecumseh Masonic Lodge.
Bob is survived by his wife June; two sons, Michael (Janet) Robison of Naples, Florida and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Robison of Vonore, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Adrienne (Terry) Lindgren of Naples, Florida, Capt. Samuel Robison, U.S. Army of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Benjamin (Kristin) Robison of Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his brother Lee (Doris) Robison of Saline, Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4,2008 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Interment will follow at Brookside cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Lilly Gailley, passed away, August 8, 2008 in Allendale, MI. Burial will take place in Alabama.
Victoria "Susie" Hottum
Age 59, of Adrian, passed away, August 9, 2008. She was born September 17, 1948, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Adam & Lillian (Bachorowski) Stempien. On February 14, 1994, She married Larry Hottum, he survives.
In addition to her husband Larry, she is survived by her children; Victoria Trent and Douglas Horeczko, her grandchildren; Lili-Anne, Alysia, Paige, Stephanie, Katrina and Rebecca, and two brothers; Richard (Patricia) Stempien and Leonard (Debbie) Stempien.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Stempien.
The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh, with Rev. Fr. Daniel Wheeler as Presider.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM in J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, and also on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Douglas Flora, 38, of Wyandotte, MI, passed away, August 11, 2008. Cremation has taken place.
Clyde Butler Spivey, Sr.
Age 90, of Blissfield, formerly of Tecumseh and Lakeland, FL, passed away, August 12, 2008.
He was born December 10, 1917 in Pike County, KY, the son of Charles and Alpha (Sargent) Spivey.
On September 22, 1939, he married Diane Collins in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Mr. Spivey was a resident of the Tecumseh and Blissfield areas since 1950.
He was a house painter for over 60 years. He also worked as a coal miner and Sheriff's Deputy in Kentucky.
He was a founding member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, MI, and now a member of th Adrian Freewill Baptist Church. and was a past president of the Blissfield Kiwanis Club. Clyde was a founding member of the Tecumseh Rotary Club.
Clyde has four children Nancy (Elmer) Seeburger of Palmyra, James (Regina) Spivey of Green Valley, AZ, Linda (Delmas) Dotson of Tecumseh and Clyde (Nancy) Spivey of Blissfield, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Ed Spivey, Mose Spivey, and Claud Spivey and four sisters, Gertrude Spivey, Edna Akers, Katherine (Raines) Owen, and Pearl Mead.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2008, in the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Rev. J.B. Varney officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeway cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.
Bernard "Ike" Isaacson
Age 74, of Adrian, passed away, August 12, 2008. He was born May 24, 1934, in Adrian, MI, the son of Thomas & Eleanor (Steih) Isaacson. On April 6, 1957, he married Patricia Nagel in Adrian, MI. She survives. Bernard was retired from the Ford Motor Co., Rawsonville Plant.
In addition to his wife Patricia he is survived by his children; Sheri (Stuart) Harman, Bernard (Kathy) Isaacson, Jr., Thomas (Dawn) Isaacson, Charleen (Mark) Machan-Garland, Wayne (Georgine) Isaacson, George (Crystal) Isaacson, Joann (Tom) Smith, and Kevin (Tonya) Isaacson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters; June (Ron) Shourds and Wanda Iffland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Charles and Thomas Isaacson, and one sister, Marjorie Franklin.
At his request, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will take place. Arrangements entrusted to J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.

Loarn LaMar "Bozo" Forrester
Age 85, of Tecumseh, passed away August 18, 2008 at Herrick Memorial Hospital. LaMar was born June 15, 1923 in Kenderhook, Michigan the son of John Gilbert and Jennie (Forker) Forrester.
On June 28, 1944 he married Elaine Ehlinger in Napoleon, Ohio. She survives. LaMar was retired from Tecumseh Products after 40 years of service where he was known as "Bozo" due to his fun personality. During World War II he served his country in the United States Navy as a gunnermate. La Mar was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tecumseh. He was an active member of the Tecumseh Masonic Lodge since 1947 and also served as a Worshipful Master. People will remember LaMar and his wife Elaine as the couple seen in Tecumseh walking hand in hand. Besides his wife of 64 years, Elaine, LaMar is survived by three daughters, Jan Ruhl of Manitou Beach, Joanne Miller of Delray Beach, FL and Jeanne (Bill) Ward of Greensboro. NC; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister Thadlla Hoard of Bronson, MI and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, LaVern; three brothers; four sisters and a grand daughter, Rhonda Miller.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held 1:00 P. M. Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the First Baptist Church, Tecumseh on Milwaukee Road with Dr. Kenneth Boyd officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers to the Tecumseh United Bank and Trust, Russell Road office; attn: Marri Chapman. Arrangements were entrusted to the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.

Robert Mastie
Age 48, of Onsted passed away August 21, 2008. He was the loving husband of Shelley (Fruitt) and the devoted father of two daughters, Lindsay and Melissa.
He is also survived by his parents Stanley and Jeanette Mastie, two sisters Geralyn Mastie (Tecumseh) and Cindy (Joe) Couchene (Iron River). He is also survived by his in-laws Don and Elaine Fruitt, Eric and Sara Fruitt (Indianapolis) John and Orena Kidder, Lori Marcum (Onsted). He was loved and cherished and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian. Visitations will be held Friday, August 29, 2008 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 preceeding the funeral which will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008.
Phyllis E. Morden
Age 93, of Brandon, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. Born in Ward, Iowa on July 20, 1915, daughter of Mrs. Addie Edwards Lindberts, she married Walter S. (Doc) Morden on August 6, 1934 in Angola, Indiana. married over 60 years to Doc, she lived most of her lifetime in Michigan. When Doc retired they moved to Valrico, Florida. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ch. #51, Tecumseh, MI and Fellowship Baptist Church, Valrico, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. (Doc) Morden and is survived by her sons, Walter Graham Morden and Terry Morden and daughter, Kay Phibbs, all of Tecumseh, MI. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at Brookside cemetery, Tecumseh, MI. J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home will be handling arrangements

Henry E. "Hank" Largin, Jr.
Age 56 of Adrian,went home to his Lord, September 2, 2008 at Toledo Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife, Becky of Adrian, MI, his daughter Jodi Largin (Brian Scholz) of Clinton, MI, his father Henry Largin (Linda St. Onge) of Morley, MI, his brother Larry (Karen) Largin of Saline, MI, their children, Melissa, Karrie and Kelly and her son Dylan, his sister Judy Gallrapp of Germany and her children, Christian and Catherine, step children, Robert Wilson, David Wilson, Anna Wilson, and Michelle (Devin) Prichard, two step grandchildren, Alexander and Margriet, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Largin and his grandparents.
Hank was currently employed by the ACH Plant in Saline and was an active member at The Lenawee County Conservation League. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing dominoes with friends, hunting and cooking. A memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church, 156 East Maumee St. Adrian, MI. Arrangements by J. GILBERT PURSE FUNERAL HOME, Adrian, MI.
