Elizabeth Ann Johnson
Age 60 of Fountain Hills, AZ died Thursday, April 5th, 2007 at Scottsdale Osborne Hospital. She was born Oct. 14th, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Glen and Marie Johnson. She is survived by her son Ronald (Stephanie) Chambell, Jr. and grandson Dohonvan and daughter Theresa Chambell and grandson Paul. She is also survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. James (Rita) Hines, Elaine Johnson, Mrs. William (Jane) McCarthy, and Mrs. Kim (Ann) Pelky, dear friend Dan Beck, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Virginia, MaryEllen, and Carolyn and brother Paul. She was a graduate of South Lyon High School.
Albert Lee Jr.
Age 75, passed away April 21, 2007. A Memorial Service will be held on Sat., April 28 at 11 a.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 10774 Nine Mile Rd. Whitmore Lake. Phillips Funeral Home, South Lyon.
Kenneth L. Kahrl
Age 91, of Monroe, formerly of Plymouth, died May 8, 2007. The son of the late Herbert and Lillian (Krumm) Kehrl, he married the former Marvel Boyd, June 1939, in Plymouth. She died August 22, 1996. He was a car salesman at Atchinson Ford and a self-employed farmer, retiring in 1982. He was a life member of the Elks; member of Plymouth Rock Lodge #47 F & AM, Shriners and Monroe Moose Lodge #884.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Karen S. Kehrl of Monroe and two granddaughters, Katie and Erinn Kehrl of Monroe. He was preceded in death by a son, Herb S. Kehrl, and a sister, Phyllis Henry.
Visitation 3-8 PM Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM Friday. Memorials may be made to Frenchtown Senior Citizens Center or Herb Kehrl Memorial Scholarship at Monroe County Community College.

R. DUANE ADAMS, age 78, died January 20, 2004 at William Beaumont Hospital-Troy. He was born April 24, 1925, in Harlan, Kentucky. Resident of Troy.
Mr. Adams was self-employed as a Legal Support in the legal administration field. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Beloved husband of Jo Nell for 53 years.
Dear father of Kim O’Hara (James).
Loving grandfather of Jessie and Rachel.
Brother of Rodney (Joy), Paul (Darlene) and Helen Ambergy (James).
Funeral Service will be at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple and Big Beaver) Saturday, January 24, 2004, at 11 AM.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 23, from 2-8 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Bardha was a resident of Birmingham for 27 years.
He was the co-founder of Bardha Salon in 1963 and he retired from the salon in 1983.
Landlord and property owner in Birmingham and the Flint area.
He was a very devoted supporter of the Albanian community and an avid golfer and life member of Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak
He was a very loving grandfather

MATTHEW ALEXANDER CALDERWOOD, age: 89, died January 24, 2004, at Lourdes Nursing Home, Waterford Twp., MI. He was born January 16, 1915, in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan (NY). Resident of Troy, Michigan, and former resident of Huntington Woods, Michigan.
Occupation: Advertising Executive with J. Walter Thompson, from 1931 until retirement in 1973.
Mr. Calderwood began his career in advertising with J. Walter Thompson in 1931 as a messenger. He was then promoted to proof router, type desk, assistant production manager, and finally, Traffic Group Head. As Traffic Group Head, he was responsible for all Ford Motor Company work in New York. After serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II, Mr. Calderwood came to Detroit in November, 1949, to head up J. Walter Thompson’s Traffic and Production Department. He was later promoted to Vice-President and then retired from J. Walter Thompson in 1973.
Throughout his life, Mr. Calderwood was an active member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). He was a founding member and active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Oak Park, MI since 1950. He was the former President of Advertising Agencies Production Club of Detroit, a member of the Raccoon Sportsmen Association, a longtime supporter of several charities, particularly the Special Olympics and the American Lung Association. Mr. Calderwood enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbors.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, January 28, 2004 – 10:00 AM – at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 13500 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, with Rev. Paul Chateau officiating. Visitation at church begins Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
