NEWMAN, CARL "JOHN" of Waterford died February 8, 2007 at 75 years of age peacefully with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Carol for over 52 years. Dear father of Vickie (Paul) Truelove, Valerie (Mike) Cristiansen and Steve (Sherry) Newman; grandfather of Orin (Staci), Jeremy (Cassandra), Anne-Abel, David, Sarah (Tom), Tia, Ian, Becky and Maia; special Papa John to great granddaughter Kayleigh. John was a veteran of the US Marines Korea. He retired from Division Printing in 1992 after 20 years of service. He and Carol lived in Palm Bay, FL for 14 years after his retirement. John will always be remembered for his devotion to his beloved family and his kind and loving way.

MITCHELL, LYNN WILLIAM of Waterford, Jan. 27, 2007 at age 61. Beloved husband of Wendy Snow Mitchell. Dear father of Robert (Rosemarie) Simpson and Kelly Simpson. Also survived by two grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Joshua Simpson and his canine buddies, Doc and Ferlie. Lynn was an automotive designer for many years. He was also an artist who most enjoyed working with oils. He was a kind, generous, honest and gentle man who will be deeply missed by many.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 5301 Hatchery Rd., Waterford. Fr. Chris Berg will officiate.

MADDOCK, LLOYD B. & MICHELLE Y., of Holly, died together, February 19, 2007, from injuries in an automobile accident. Great grandfather of Bailiee, Kirsten and Alexandra. Earl was a self-employed builder having operated Earl Ganther and Assoc. for a number of years. He was a former member and Elder at Waterford Community Church. He also enjoyed playing the trumpet having played in the Clarkston High School Band and in Church Orchestra�s.

(Alysia) Kretschmar, Melissa (Joey English) Nehr and Gina (David) Haney. Great grandmother of Alexander, Thressa, Connor, Michael, Kenyatta, and Joey Jr. Dorothy was a registered nurse, she worked at Pontiac General and St. Joes and later in her career as a visiting nurse for Pontiac Visiting Nurse Assoc, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pontiac and the Ladies Guild and Altar Guild there. She loved to travel, sew, paint scenery and read.
