Bond, Darlene Joyce
August 29, 1952 - January 31, 2006
Darlene J. Bond, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at her home with her family by her side, after a 2 ½ year battle with breast cancer.
A Memorial service for Darlene will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 6 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church with Pastor Scott McKee and Pastor Ralph Fisher officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan or to the family for a scholarship fund at Mt. Pleasant Fancher Elementary School. Envelopes will be available at the church and the Clark Funeral Chapel.
Darlene was born August 29, 1952, in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Rosel) Tisron. She married
Terry Bond on August 8, 1970 in East Jordan, Michigan. Darlene worked for Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, Fancher Elementary as a secretary. Working with the kids at Fancher meant a lot to her. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church. Darlene coached Pom Pon at Mt. Pleasant High School for seven years. She enjoyed her flower garden, her lawn, reading, and her “crown achievement” her grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Terry Bond of Mt. Pleasant; son, Chris (Kristin) Bond of Edenville, MI; daughter, Kelley (Eric) Borodychuk of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Sydney and Nicholas Bond of Edenville; Kyle and Logan Borodychuk of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Mary Tisron of East Jordan; brother, Bill (Patti) Tisron of East Jordan.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Tisron and two brothers.
Molnar, Josephine
May 15, 1927 - June 21, 2006
Josephine Molnar, 79, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Central Michigan Community Hospital.

Morrison, William "Willard" D.

William “Willard” D. Morrison, 89, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
Memorial services for William will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Boley officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24 from 1 p.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church. William was born on February 8, 1917 in Isabella County, the son of William and Clara (Swindlehurst) Morrison. William married
Bernice (Roethlisberger) Morrison on November 26, 1942. William was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. William was a diary farmer for most of his life, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Michigan Milk Producers Association. William enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Nomads Traveling Club. He spent several years traveling through out the United States as well as countries in Western Europe, plus several cruises. William enjoyed spare times at the Moose Lodge 195 playing cards with his friends and the special morning club coffee group.
William is survived by his wife, Bernice Morrison; one son-in-law, Lewis L. Foster of Broomfield, Colorado; grandchildren, Elizabeth “Lisa” (Pat) Schwinghammer of Denver and Michael John (Molly) Foster of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren, Mia Schwinghammer and Dmitri Foster and sister, Rowena Diehl of Mt. Pleasant.
William was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marietta; two brothers, Ivan Morrison and Archy Morrison.
Beaudette, Marion Charlotte
March 22, 1924 - June 18, 2006
Marion Charlotte Beaudette, 82, of Rodney passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2006 at her home.
Memorial services for Marion will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayne Cash officiating. Marion was born on March 22, 1924 in Broomfield Township, the daughter of Russell and Mary Margaret (Metcalf) Galer. She was the supervisor of the payroll department for Central Michigan University for 18 years. She also worked for the State Home and Training and after retirement she worked as private duty nurse. Marion also worked as a seamstress and she was a great cook.
Marion is survived by her children, Galer Marine (Linda) Schell of Baker, LA; Judith (Keith) Houghtaling of Rodney, MI and Jennifer Beaudette of Ypsilanti; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard (Nancy) Galer of Illinois.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Mefford, Nikki Lynn

Nikki Lynn Mefford, 55, of Weidman passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at her home.

Nikki was born on July 9, 1950 in Lakeview, the daughter of Kenneth McConnell and Frances Ilene (Carr) Wolfgang. She worked as a direct care worker for Listening Ear. Nikki married
William G. Mefford on October 26, 1996 at Weidman Baptist Church. She was a member of the Weidman Baptist Church and spent time volunteering for the Red Cross and United Way. Nikki enjoyed painting.
Nikki is survived by her husband, William; daughter, Tina Yuncker of Weidman; step-children, Mike (Kim) Mefford and Sandy (Marty) Anthony both of PA; grandchildren, Barry Yuncker, Brittany Patterson, Kevin and Rachael Anthony and Carley Mefford; brother, David (Ronda) McConnell; sisters, Kenneal (Rex) Finch, Elaine (Bruce) Black and Joetta (Steve) Thren and half siblings, Delwin and Veryna Wood.
Nikki was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Danny McConnell and Del Wood.

Walter John Onstott, age 57, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, June 9, 2006, with his family at his side.

Walter was born August 26, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to Donald and Helen (Baronik) Onstott. He worked at Hitachi for 25 years. Walter enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.
Walter is survived by two daughters: Susan (Greg) Bellinger and Mary (Jim Storms) Onstott; grandchildren; Caitlyn and Zachary Bellinger; Amber and Britiney Storms; brothers, Norman (Noni); Ronald (Kay); Richard (Susie); Kenneth (Marilyn); Phillip (Karen); Thomas (Linda); Terry (Lynn); Dennis (Barb) and Greg Onstott; sisters, Sandra (John) Manley; Sharon (Ronald) Horning; Cindy (Michael) Smith; Kathy (Jon) Spiris and Patsy Gross; many nieces and nephews.

Howard Lilly, Sr., age 82, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 9, 2006, at Central Michigan Community Hospital.
Funeral services for Howard will be held on Tuesday, June 13 at 2 p.m. at Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Ives officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 12, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 13, from 1 p.m. until time of service at Clark Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a Memorial Fund in remembrance of Howard. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Howard was born July 10, 1923, in Shepherd, Michigan, the son of Benjamin and Catherine (Gilson) Lilly. Howard retired as the Superintendent for the City of Mt. Pleasant Water Works after 34 years. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and then later transferred to the Sea Bees. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a loving husband, a good father, and loved all his grandchildren.
Howard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel Lucille Lilly; children Carol (Jack) Parker of Mt. Pleasant, Barbara (Butch) Segelstrom of Muskegon, Howard (Robin) Lilly, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; 8 grandchildren Kim (Roy) Hibbs, Mary (Mark) Conroy, Jacklyn Howard, Richard (Shawn) Howard, Jr., Tracee (Matt) Wilson, David (Candy) Howard, Rachel (David) Wieten, Amy (Ben Labo) Lilly; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister Mary Ann Farrell of Lowell; brothers Lloyd Lilly and Dean Lilly, both of Florida;.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Catherine Lilly; brothers Merle and Al Lilly; and grandsons Patrick “PJ” Parker and Jon Roy.
Howard will forever be remembered as a kind and special man.

Ruth was born on May 30, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Oscar and Linda (Huber) Maeder. She married
Ivor Stork on August 1, 1935. Ruth worked for Gulf Gas Station in Rosebush with her husband, Central Michigan Community Hospital as an insurance clerk and Central Michigan University in the payroll department. After retiring, Ruth worked as a receptionist for the Isabella County Commission on Aging. She was a member of the Rosebush Presbyterian Church.
Ruth is survived by her children, Jim (Ruth Ann) Stork of Milford, IN, Margaret Huffman of Weidman, Doug (Millie) Stork of Clare and Nancy (Doug) Jackson of Weidman; Eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; sisters, Florest Ardursere of Tulsa, OK, Burness Nethers of Mt. Pleasant, Jeanette Smith of Texas and Catherine Evans of South Bend, IN and her 2nd family “The Medical Care Facility” and the cats, Jake and Fluffy.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ivor Stork in 1973; son, Ron Stork on August 19, 1955; son-in-law, Dan Hoffman on August 26, 2002; sisters, Evelyn Bozer, Elva Nothstine and Belva Moore and brothers, Jay C. Forney and Bob Forney.

David Alexander Domerese, 16, of Rosebush passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services for David will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. at the Swarey Farm Community Building in Rosebush. Interment will follow in the Rosebush Amish cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8th, from 2-8 p.m. at the Swarey Farm Community Building.
David was born on July 2, 1989, the son of Louie Don and Sandra (Alexander) Domerese. He worked as a cabinet maker for Alvin Coblentz and Wayne Helmuth. David enjoyed horses, farming, and woodworking.
David is survived by his parents, L. Don and Sandra Domerese of Rosebush; grandmother, Robbie Domerese of Flint; brothers, Louie (Kristy) Domerese of Kimble, MI, Alvis Todd (Marti) Domerese of Tennessee, Robert Ryan (Sarah) Domerese of Idaho and James Kendrick (Amber) Domerese of Rosebush; one sister, Carrie Kay (Andy) Kurtz of Rosebush and seven nieces and nephews, Louie Domerese III, Jackson, Benjamin, Ryan, Ayden, Hannah and Melinda Kurtz.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Mae Domerese; grandparents, Gladys and Donald Alexander and grandfather, Alvis Treiber Domerese.
McBride, Barbara Kay

Barbara Kay McBride, 58, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on March 10, 1948, the daughter of Elton and Francis (Holp) Watson. On June 15, 1968 Barbara married
Jack McBride at First United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of the Mt. Pleasant area.
Barbara worked with her husband Jack, at Jack’s Auto Glass, Inc. a family owned business for 30 years. She enjoyed listening to music and shopping for antiques. Barbara loved her animals, the outdoors and all water sports. Most of all she loved being a wife and mother and just recently a grandmother to her “little sunshine” Connor. Barbara loved to cook and bake for her family. Bringing everyone together for holidays and special occasions meant so much to her and gave us all many treasured memories. She especially enjoyed the times she, Jack and family spent at their “Special-Second Home” on Long Lake in Traverse City, MI usually taking along grand dogs Abie and Rusty.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Jack of 38 years; daughter, Stacey McBride and friend, Rhonda Haught of Midland; daughter, Kari and Garrett McBride-Hoormann of Mt. Pleasant and Son, Bryan (Ashley) McBride of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson, Connor Jack McBride-Hoormann; Mother, Francis Watson and mother-in-law, Vivian McBride; sisters, Glenda (Gary) Labadie, Merriejo (Chuck) Fortino and Patti Cook and nieces and nephews, Kelly and Nick, Chuck and Julie and Max. Her family and many friends, who knew how very special she was, will sadly miss Barbara.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Elton Watson; father-in-law, Merritt McBride and brothers-in-law, Roger McBride, Kevin Swan and Paul Kraft.

Jane Elizabeth Hartupee, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at her home.
A Memorial Mass for Jane will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Robert Byrne officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date in Calvary cemetery. The family will gather with friends on Tuesday, June 6, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday, June 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Sacred Heart Church. There will be a prayer service Tuesday evening, June 6, at 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice or Community Cancer Services. Jane was born June 29, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Bernard and Ruth (O’Brien) Miller. She married
John James Hartupee, Sr., and was a loving housewife and mother and as well worked as a beautician.
Jane is survived by her husband John “Jack” Hartupee of Mt. Pleasant; her four children, John James Hartupee, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, Jackie Lynn Shaw of Mt. Pleasant, Janice Marie Fortino of Big Rapids, and Jerry Thomas Hartupee of Blanchard; her six grandchildren, John James Hartupee III of Montreal, Canada, John Edwards Evans of Lansing, Jacob Arthur Evans of Big Rapids, Chad Thomas Hartupee, Kara Ann Hartupee, and Chelsea Jane Shaw, all of Mt. Pleasant; and one great-grandchild, John James Hartupee IV of Montreal, Canada; her brother Gene Miller of Beal City and her sisters Alice Reihl of Beal City and Irene Barnard of Mt. Pleasant.
Jane was preceded in death by her brothers Patrick and Wayne and her parents, Bernard and Ruth.
