JONES, EDWIN BOYD, On Thursday, September 3rd, 1998, our beloved Edwin Boyd Jones passed away from injuries sustained in an accident near his home in Kanesville, Utah. He was born February 14, the son of Thomas R. and Sadie Wade Jones. On June 27, 1950, he married Mildred Salisbury in the Logan LDS Temple. hEd served in the Army for five years during World War II, achieving the rank of Captain. After earning his Doctorate degree from Michigan State University, he worked for Michigan National Corporation, retiring as CEO after 28 years of service. After retirement, he returned home to the family dairy farm in Utah. hEdwin was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many positions of leadership, including President of the Chicago Temple. hEdwin cherished his wife, children and grandchildren. He treasured his friends. His motto was "Live Together in Love." He leaves a legacy of work, service, and commitment to the Lord. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. hHe is survived by his wife and five children: Rick (Maggie) Jones, Kanesville; Kaplin (Lesley) Jones, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Gaye (Scott) Willis, Juneau, Alaska; Gwen (Roger) Connors, Temecula, California; Ran (Lisa) Jones, Kanesville; and 20 grandchildren. hFuneral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Kanesville Utah Stake Center. Interment Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dearest mother of Gladys Houth, Lawrence (Dorothy) Tessmer, Bernice Schultz. Grandmother of five; great-grandmother of nine; great-great-grandmother of two. Dearest daughter of Mary Simon. Dear sister of Joanne Wilczak and Joseph Simon. Also survived by six grandchildren. NIELSEN, CARL E., Age 69, died July 12, 1998. He was a retired, Detroit City Planner and architect. He was an University of Michigan Alumni.
