BLACKBURN, NADA, Age 86, of Caseville, retired Chrysler employee died Tuesday, at her home. Surviving are one son, Steven Blackburn of Grosse Pointe Park and one daughter, Myra Pierce of Chicago; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday at St. Lazarus Cathedral, Detroit, with burial in Forest Lawn cemetery, Detroit. Friends may call at the Church after 12 on Thursday.

ESSENMACHER, ELIZABETH (BETTY) HILTUNEN Succumbed to complications of surgery on July 28, 1999. She was born near Tower, MN on April 23, 1933. She was a graduate of Embarrass High School. She lived in the Detroit area for many years where she worked as a bookkeeper. In 1978, she married Rich Essenmacher and was widowed in 1994. She then moved to Ft. Meyers, FL where she was active in the Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church and Senior Friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Sophia Hilja Hiltunen, as well as her brothers Ray, Leo and Victor. She is survived by her sisters Mavis Biesanz and Mabel Bradach and by her brother, Robert. She is also mourned by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Sisu, and her many friends. Memorial services, presided over by Dr. Bruce Merton, were held at Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church. 8260 Cypress Lake Drive, Ft. Meyers, FL 33919 where donations may be sent in her memory

JANISZ, ALEXANDER F. Veterinarian. A Memorial Service will be held for Alexander Janisz, D.V.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, Saturday, August 21, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. He died in a car accident Near Fernie BC, Canada, he was 48 yrs old, he graduated from U of D High School in 1969. Received Military Engineering degree from Westpoint and his D.V.M. from Georgia State University. He was honorably discharged from the Airborne Ranger Division of the US Army in 1982 and received commendations for his Service in Korea. During his Veterinarian career he practiced in Iron Wood, Michigan; Lundar, Manitoba; Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan and Fernie British Columbia. Survivers are his mother Grace of W. Bloomfield, sister Amelia, brother Christopher, one niece and five nephews.

JARZYNSKI, HERBERT JOSEPH "SONNY" Age 61 of Plymouth, MI. Died August 17, 1999 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. Mr. Jarzynski was born on April 27, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant to Joseph John and Dorothy Mae (Gerou) Jarzynski. He married Cheryl (Leseure) Jarzynski on June 29, 1963. Sonny served in the Navy. He then worked as a millwright for Hercules Drawn Steel in Livonia for 37 years. He was a member of the UAW Local out of Detroit. Sonny liked to read, watch old movies, walk, work and make a good living. Sonny is survived by his wife Cheryl Jarzynski; Daughter: Diana Jarzynski of Plymouth; Brother: James "Butch" Jarzynski (Garnie) of Evart; Sisters: Jeanette Brown (Art) of South Lyon, and Helen Marie Deming of Mt. Pleasant. Preceded in death are his parents. Funeral service Saturday, August 21, 1999 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant with Fr. Robert Byrne officiating. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Chapel, on Thursday, August 19, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, August 20, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Wake Service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Chapel. LENIHAN, J. PHILIP, 75 of Savannah, GA, died at Memorial Health Hospital, Savannah, on August 16, 1999. The native of Derby, CN, had lived 43 years in Royal Oak and Bloomfield Hills, MI before moving to Savannah, GA in 1989. He was retired from Detroit Edison where he was a Vice-President. He was a Communicant of St. James Catholic Church in Savannah. Survivors: include his wife, Ginny Lenihan of Savannah, GA; two sons, John R. Lenihan of Tacoma, WA, Steve B. Lenihan of Cincinnati, OH; one daughter, Krysten M.
