Richard Lee Johe, 78, of Eldersburg formerly of Catonsville, MD, died Sunday August 14, 2005 at home. He was the spouse of Angelina Margaret Maranto Johe. He was born May 2, 1927 in Hornell, NY the son of the late Lorenzo Frank and Ilah Lee Johe
He was Sr. Vice President for USF&G Insurance for 27 years and then Michigan Mutual for 14 years. Was appointed to the US Navel Academy in 1945. Mr. Johe was a Graduate of Alfred University. Also attended Duke, Syracuse, and Dartmouth Universities. He was a member of the US Actuarial Society. He was a member of the 1st class of Permanent Deacons for the Roman Catholic Church in the United States in 1971 and was assigned to Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Randallstown.
Mr. Johe was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of American Legion. He enjoyed playing Golf and reading Military Novels and was a Historian.
Surviving in addition to his wife are Daughter and son-in-law Kathleen A. and David A. Bartholow of Sykesville, MD Son: Gary L. Johe of Hanover, PA. Brother: Donald F. Lee of Metuchen, NJ
5 Grandchildren: Jennifer, Shannon, Mylinda, Chris and Tommy 1 great-granddaughter: Taylor.
A funeral Mass will be said Thursday August 18, 2005 11:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 9533 Liberty Rd. Randallstown, MD Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD

Donald Glenn Lentzner, Sr., age 65, of Woodbine, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD.
He was born August 17, 1939 in Westminster, MD, the son of the late Sterling Walter and Emma Caroline Lentzner (nee Arnold ).
He was a carpenter, farmer and truck driver.
He was the loving husband of Patricia Ethel Lentzner (nee Franklin ), to whom he was married
for 43 years.
Devoted father of daughter Lisa Martin and husband Joe of Winfield and son Donald Glenn Lentzner, Jr and wife Toni of Taneytown.
Also survived by brother Kenneth (Bud) Lentzner and wife Amy of Union Bridge, devoted sister-in-law Doris Vicarini, and 2 grandsons, Joey & Nicholas Martin.
He was the son-in-law of the late William E. and Julia M. Franklin.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smallwood, Taylorsville Hunt Club, and the Westminster Moose #1381. He also enjoyed gardening and sports with his grandsons.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 7-9 PM, and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Saturday August 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery, Smallwood, MD.

Marjorie B. Whittington 83, of Westminster, MD

Marjorie B. Whittington (nee Buck), age 83 of Westminster, died Monday August 22, 2005 at Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster, MD.
She was born October 17, 1921 in Baltimore, MD. She was the youngest daughter of the late Dr. Anthony John Buck and the late Myrtle A. Buck (nee Andrews).
She was predeceased by Brothers Richard and Burt Buck and Sister Vera Buck Butler. She was the wife of the late Emory M. Whittington.
She was a housewife. “Marge” raised her family in Baltimore County. She was active in the Rockdale Garden Club; Randallstown Women’s Club and was well known for her home baked cookie business. She moved to Carroll Lutheran Village in 1981 and was one of the original residents. She enjoyed participation in the singing group, fund raising activities and chapel volunteer work.
Survivors include a son, John “Jack” Whittington of Union Bridge; a son Andy Whittington of Sarasota, Florida ; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday August 31, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Krug Chapel & Auditorium at Carroll Lutheran Village with Pastor Jimmie Schwartz the Chaplain of Carroll Lutheran Village officiating.

Robert Earl Jennings, age 71, of Hurlock, MD, Formerly of Winfield, died Friday, August 26, 2005, at his home.
He was born August 26, 1934 in Nyack, New York the son of the late Robert Morland Jennings and the late Susan Morgan Jennings.
He was the husband of Ly Jennings for 39 years.
He was a carpenter; millwright. He was a member of Local Union #1548 for 50 years. He was a member since 1959 of the Prudence Lodge #190 A.F. & A.M., Mt. Airy, MD.
He was the father of Eugene Jennings of Bridgeville, Delaware, Randy Jennings of Pikesville, Dale Jennings of Winfield, Tami Littleton of Hurlock, MD, Janine (Thao) Woods of Atlanta, Georgia, Hung Nguyen of Gamber and the late Scott Jennings.
Brother of Betty Hartle of Winfield.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was a college student at the University of California.
He was a computer programmer.

She was born February 2, 1946 in Leesburg, VA.
The daughter of the late Arthur Kelyon Sink and the late Odessa Linda Feazell. Sink
She worked for Computer Sciences in Rockville as an Endcoder.
She was a Born Again Christian, Avid Reader, Enjoyed playing cards, bowling and music.
Surviving are 3 sons; Philip W. Linthicum of Mt. Airy, Mark A. Linthicum of Gaithersburg and Anthony L. Linthicum of Mt. Airy. 4 Grandchildren: Alicia L. Victoria A., Philip S. and Lauren L. Linthicum. Former Husband: Philip L. Linthicum and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday September 3, 2005, 11 AM at Mount Airy Bible Church 16700 Old Frederick Rd. Mount Airy, MD 21771. with Pastor Wallace H. Webster officiating.

Lola Eileen Monahan Luers, 81 of Randallstown, MD, died Thursday September 1, 2005 at Northwest Hospital Center, Randallstown, MD
She was the spouse of Clinton Lawrence Luers of Randallstown.
She was born September 23, 1923 in Dundalk, MD the daughter of the late James “Ted” P. Monahan and late Lola Miller Monahan.
Mrs. Luers was a homemaker, and also enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Surviving in addition to her husband are Daughter and Son-in-law: Sandra Joan and Brooks H. Sparrow of Winfield, Son and Daughter-in-law: Lawrence C. and Lillian P. Luers of Randallstown, Daughter and Son-in-law Barbara Jean and Jimmy D. Skipper of Harrisonville. Also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Frank Albert Hymiller, age 72, of Sykesville, died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD.
He was born January 21, 1933 in Carroll County, Maryland the son of the late Jeremiah N. Hymiller and the late Rosie Farver Hymiller.
He was a mechanic for Mullinix Motors and Eyre Bus Service, which he retired from.
He was the husband of Genevieve P. Hymiller (nee Franklin ).
He was the father of Linda L. Ash of Hanover, PA, Cathy A. Hymiller of Sykesville, Cindy L. Burgess of Union Bridge and Ricky L. Hymiller of West Virginia.
He was the brother of Nathan R. Hymiller of Sykesville, George C. Hymiller of Mt. Airy, Jeremiah L. Hymiller of Woodbine and Helen E. Stauffer of Delaware.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
