Samuel D. Harrison, Jr., age 93, of Eldersburg, formerly of Catonsville, died Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Oakland Manor, Sykesville, MD.
He was born December 15, 1911 in St. Michaels, Maryland, the son of the late Samuel D. Harrison, Sr. and the late Mary A. Harrison (nee Six).
He was the husband of L. Lavice Harrison (nee Woolward).
He was a Bus Driver for the Mass Transit in Baltimore, MD for 34 years. He was a member of Wesley Memorial U.M. Church in Catonsville.
He was the father of Charles B. Harrison and wife Pat of Glen Burnie, Suzette H. Godman and husband Cody of Eldersburg and Stephen L. Harrison and wife Jackie of Eldersburg.
He was the brother of Ruth H. Campbell of Parkville
Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Ben and Paula Harrison, Jonathan and Jennifer Harrison, Andrew and Robin Harrison and Becky and Randy Eckrote, Beth and Justin King and Josh and Carla Godman; also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday June 15, 2005 at 10:00 AM, at Wesley Memorial U.M. Church, 5602 Johnnycake Road, Catonsville, MD., with the Rev. Carl Doer and Rev. Carl Synan officiating.
Interment will be in Lorraine Park cemetery, Woodlawn, MD

Beulah Irene Barnes (nee Brandenburg ), age 92, of Mt. Airy, died Monday June 13, 2005 at Lorien Nursing Home in Mt. Airy.
She was born December 2, 1912 in Mullenix, Maryland, Montgomery County, the daughter of the late William B. Brandenburg and the late Lydia Brandenburg (nee Browning).
She was the wife of the late John Donald Barnes for 62 years, who died on January 18, 2004.
She was a Sales Clerk for Hutzler’s Dept. Store in Westview Shopping Center for many many years.
Mother of the late Hammond Morgan.
Half sister of Marie Gue of Mt. Airy and the late Betty Chrouse.
Graveside funeral service will be Thursday June 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Frederick, MD with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.
No viewing.

Mary Belle Holt 80, of Lisbon, MD
1924 - 2005
Mary Belle Holt, age 80, passed away at Carroll Hospital Center Sunday morning, June 12th 2005, during a beautiful sunrise. Belle was best known as a beloved mother and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born to Wilbur and Grace (Selby) Smith on September 12, 1924 in Lisbon, Maryland.
Mrs. Holt graduated from Lisbon High School in 1942, and then attended Strayer Business College. Shortly after college, Belle briefly worked at Fidelity Trust until her marriage to Earl K. Holt on April 1, 1945 when she discovered the joys of being a homemaker and mother. She started her notable fashion retail career at Peck & Peck in 1964 until she retired from the sales staff of Miller Brothers Clothiers in 1992. After she moved to Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD in 1992, she became the manager of the Westminster Mission Store where she worked until 2001.
Belle is survived by her children Dennis and Barbara Holt of League City, TX and Marla Holt of Reisterstown, MD. She is also survived by her brothers Crawford and Rose Marie Smith of Greeneville, TN; Robert and Shirley Smith of Mt. Airy, MD; Edward and Patricia Smith of Mt. Airy, MD; her sister Margaret and Cliff Duntley of Owosso, MI. Surviving also are her three grandchildren, Zac, Jeremy and Emily Tibbels; her five step-grandchildren, Christina and Scott Jeffcoat, Holly Goldstein, Jeannie Long, and Stephen Holt; her five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl K. Holt, her parents Wilbur and Grace Smith, her brother Selby Smith, and her two grandchildren, Angel and Missy Holt. She leaves her devoted caregiver, Shirley Masemer, her beloved friends Nancy Billingslea, Lynne Gebhardt, Vince Dyer and her neighbors at the Carroll Lutheran Village community.
Funeral services will held on Friday June 17, 2005 10 Am in the Krug Auditorium and Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD

Michael Lee Cramblitt, 36 of Randallstown, MD, died Thursday June 16, 2005 in Randallstown, MD
He was born February 3, 1969 in Baltimore County MD the son of Margaret Ann Cramblitt.
He was employed by his brother at JC Painting and also worked doing home improvements. He enjoyed baseball and football; especially the Orioles, Green Bay Packers and Ravens.
Surviving him in addition to his mother are Daughter: Kelly and Son: Michael Cramblitt of Wards Chapel. Brother and Sister-In-Law: Jeffery L. and Michele Cramblitt of Littlestown, PA Nieces: Christina, Ashley Cramblitt and Brooke Tierney all of Littlestown, PA.

Albert W. Selby 85, of Eldersburg, MD

Albert W. Selby, 85, of Eldersburg, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at Continuum Care Rehabilitation Center in Sykesville.
Born December 25, 1919 in Eldersburg, he was a life-long resident of Carroll County. He was the son of the late Bessie and William Walters and was the adopted son of his maternal grand-parents, Alice and Albert O. Selby of Eldersburg. He was the husband of Joan Candy, whom he married
in 1997. He was previously married
for 50 years to the late Jean Hoffman Selby.
He is survived by two sons, Lester Selby of Eldersburg and Stephen Selby and his wife Kathleen of Westminster. He is also survived by four stepsons William Candy and his wife Brenda of South Carolina, Robert Candy and his wife Donna of Cumberland, Richard Candy and his wife Joann of Westminster, David Candy of Freeport, N.Y., and two stepdaughters, Kathleen May and husband Richard of Arnold, and Susan Candy of Eldersburg. He was predeceased by and adopted sister, Elva Alexander.
He joined his family’s construction business in 1936 before going into business for himself operating a gasoline station and also becoming an automobile dealer.
He was a dedicated worker for the Republican Party in Carroll County ever since his youth, joining the Young Republican Club as a teenager. He was a member of the Republican Central Committee for four years. He was active in community activities, volunteering at his church, Wesley Freedom Methodist Church, for many years, and also at the Carroll County Farm Museum. He helped establish and worked with The Carroll County Wine Festival. He was one of the founders of the Eldersburg Improvement Association.
He served as a member of the Carroll County Board of Zoning Appeals 1979 to 1985 and was a Judge of the Orphans Court from 1985-1998.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church, 961 Johnsville Road, Eldersburg, with the Rev. Richard McCullough of Wesley Freedom U.M. Church in Eldersburg officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Ruth Alice Reaver, 81 of Taneytown, MD, died Sunday June 26, 2005 at County Companions in Taneytown. She was born June 24, 1924 in Mount Airy, MD the daughter of the late Harry E. Reaver and the late Margaret E. Rigler Reaver.
Ms. Reaver enjoyed knitting. Ms Reaver was a former student at the MD School for the Deaf. She is survived by Sister-in-law Lilly Reaver of Walkersville, Nieces: Pat Hood of Emmitsburg and Kay Hoff of Middletown, MD

Denise Lynne Roecker, 44 of Mt. Airy formerly of Annapolis, MD, died Suddenly Saturday June 25, 2005 at her home in Mount Airy, MD. She was the spouse of James Richard Roecker. She was born February 5, 1961 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Louis F. Von Den Bosch and Patricia M. Truitt Von Den Bosch of Mount Airy.
Mrs. Roecker was an Avon Representative. She had also worked as a bank teller at MD National Bank in Arnold, MD and as a Title Researcher for Hyatt, Peters and Weber in Annapolis. She enjoyed Gardening, Cooking and Bird watching.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are Sons; James A and Matthew T. Roecker of Mt. Airy. Sister: Deborah Kraft of Millersville, Brother: Charles Robison, Jr. of Hanover, PA, Brother: Douglas Robison of West Palm, FL, Brother: Jeffrey Robison of Eldersburg, MD Sister : Rose Stewart of Rosedale, MD, Brother: Louis Von Den Bosch II of Reading, PA, Brother: Daniel Von Den Bosch of Pasadena. Preceded in death by infant daughter: Emily Elizabeth Roecker.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Weems Creek Baptist Church, 600 N. Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday July 1, 2005 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Glen Haven cemetery, Glen Burnie, MD

He was the spouse of Barbara Virginia Owens Lagle of Eldersburg...
Mr. Lagle was born January 31, 1926 in Charlotte, NC the son of the late Crea Lagle and Eulah Tillman Lagle.
Mr. Lagle was retired from Household Finance Corporation as a Supervisor. He served during WWII in the United States Navy.
Surviving besides his wife are Daughter: Debbie Lagle of Eldersburg, Son and Daughter-in-law: Butch and Kathy Lagle of Beltsville, Daughter and Son-in-law: Ginger and Bob Borie of Eldersburg. Grandchildren: Erin and Emily Lagle of Beltsville, Nicole, Robert and Troy Borie.

Robert Earle Legore, 28 of Deland, FL, died June 25, 2005 in an automobile Accident on I-95 in FL.
Rob was a proud graduate of Palm Beach Gardens High School and Florida State University. He had a great Love for his two daughters and for the ocean and surfing. He also enjoyed gardening as he had a great respect for the preservation of nature. He was an active and serving member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Melbourne.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Olivia and Genevieve of Tampa, His mother Linda Adkins of Deland and his father Robert Legore of Colchester, CT, his sister Aimee Talbot of Prosperity, SC and his grandmother, Elsie Legore of Westminster, MD

She was the spouse of the late Samuel Fertitta and also the spouse of her second husband the late Philip Smith. She was born June 10, 1923 in Cefalu, Sicily the daughter of the late Thomas and Francesca Curro Lascuola. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are Daughter: Caterina Grove of Reisterstown, Daughter: Francessca Metheny of Hanover, Daughter: Phyllis Teal of Reisterstown, Son: Phillip Fertitta of Reisterstown, Son: Thomas Fertitta of Reisterstown. Grandchildren: Janine Szokoly, Lucinda Grove, Daniel Grove, Thomas Metheny, Tara Fornaro, Jessica Teal, Ashley Fertitta, Samantha Fertitta, Brayden Fertitta, Matthew Fertitta and Rebecca Fertitta.
