David Curtis Wood 76, of Hanover, PA

David Curtis Wood, 76, of Hanover, PA, died suddenly December 12, 2004 in Baltimore from natural causes.
Born May 18, 1928 in Jackson, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Reverend William Curtis Wood and the late Lucie Mai Siler. He was the husband of Annette M. Wood for 54 years.
He was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Engineering, the class of 1949 and a member of the alumni council for the University. He retired from the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company in 1992 after working there thirty-nine years. He held a Professional Engineer License from the state of Maryland and was a life member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Active in his church at Glen Burnie Baptist, later Elders Baptist and most recently the First Baptist Church of Hanover, he served as a deacon for more than 50 years.
He and his wife enjoyed traveling the world since his retirement. In 2002 they moved to Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Sharon W. Schaeffer of Westminster, MD., Mary Jane Hilden of O’Fallen, Illinois, and Lisa W. Snyder of Leesburg, VA.; son David C. Wood II of Westminster, MD.; brothers Charles Wood of Silver Spring, MD and Dean Wood of Salisbury, MD.; and twelve grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday December 16, 2004 at Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg, MD with the Rev. Jim Edmonson officiating.
Interment Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
Family and friends may call from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM on Wednesday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School).

George Joseph Galeano, 57 of Woodbine, MD, died on Friday December 17, 2004 He was born October 28, 1946 in Washington DC the son of Olive Marie Galeano (nee Miller) and the late Charles Joseph Galeano.
Beloved husband of Catherine Ann Galeano (nee Schneiders).
Mr. Galeano was a Service Technican for MI Homes Served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1967. Member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, and enjoyed Wood Working as a hobby.
Other Survivors are his Chidren: Cynthia M. Galeano of Germantown, MD and Edward C. Galeano of Ft. Myers, FL
Sisters and Brother-in-laws Cheryl and Robert Kemp of Potomac, Tina and Charles Miller of Damascus, Jennifer and John Ferguson of Olney, Mary Ali and Delair of Garrett Park, Teresa and Robert Overly of Gaithersburg, Brother: Joseph and Susan Galeano of Silver Spring and Sister-in-law and husband Susan and John Gartner of Longs, SC. Also Survived by 30, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be said on Monday December 20, 2004 11:00 Am in Sullivan Hall at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Libertytown, MD.

Ann Lasko Hinsche, 85 of Woodlawn, MD, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Golden Age Guest Home, Sykesville, MD she was born November 3, 1919 in Uniontown, PA the daughter of the late Paul and Efrozina Lasko. She worked as a cook for Woodlawn Pharmacy before retiring. She was a member of St. Andrews Orthodox Church in Baltimore and more recently a member of the Orthodox church of St. Matthew in Columbia.
Surviving are Son William and daughter-in-law Deborah Hinsche of Westminster. Son and Daughter-in-law Paul and Shirleen Hinsche of Westminster; Son and Daughter-in-law Daniel and Sandy Hinsche of Mt. Airy. Sisters: Effie Kolick of Woodlawn, Pauline Rachuba of Dundalk Grandchildren: Dana Facius, Timothy and Adam Hinsche, Steve Alexander and Angela Stull. Great-Grandchildren: Luke and Meghan Hinsche, Reagan Facius and Zane Stull.
Preceded in death by Sisters Mary Gaglagola and Helen Lasko.
Funeral Services will be held Monday December 20, 2004 12 Noon at St. Andrews Orthodox Church in America, 2028 E. Lombard St. Baltimore, MD.
Interment will be in St. Andrews Church cemetery, Dundalk, MD

She was born May 13, 1930 in Carroll County, Maryland the daughter of the late Theodore Charles Conaway and late Callie Morris Conaway.
She was a member of Middleburg U.M. Church.
She was the wife of the late Andy Allen Woodson, Sr.
She was the mother of Judy Lee Hoffman of Union Bridge, Patsy A. Staley of Taneytown, and Andrea L. Hajzer of Keymar and Andy A. Woodson, Jr. of Middleburg.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Carrie Mae Crumbacker (nee Schellar), age 86, of New Windsor, MD, died Sunday December 1, 2002 at Sunny Woods Assisting Living in Westminster.
She was born September 25, 1916 in Frederick County, Maryland the daughter of the late Jessie Edward Schellar and the late Annie Bart Schellar.
She was a housewife.
She was the wife of the late Woodrow Francis “Jim” Crumbacker who died on Feb. 2, 2001. They were married
on Oct. 2, 1937 in New Windsor, 63 years of marriage.
She was the mother of Woodrow A. Crumbacker of New Windsor, Emerson L. Crumbacker of New Windsor, Ronnie W. Crumbacker of Westminster, Charles N. Crumbacker of Taneytown, and Anita M. Galley of Sykesville and the late Larry Crumbacker.
Sister of Florene Shipley of Thurmont and the late sisters Reinee, Ruth and Evelyn and the late brother Charles “Buck” Schellar.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Wed. December 4, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD, (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Chaplain Barbara Sears the Chaplain for Carroll Hospice officiating.

A member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church and enjoyed her family and caring for them as a homemaker.
Surviving her are Daughter Dorothy O’Brien and Husband Bill of Missouri, Daughter: Thomasine Duffield of FL, Brother: James Murphy of Baltimore, 8 grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one great-grandson, Daughter: Elenora Bly, Sister Peal Bowie, Brother Chester Murphy and Brother : Neil VanDyke.

He was born January 13, 1925 in Woodbine, MD the son of the late Walden J. Gosnell, Sr. and the late Mary Garheart Gosnell
Mr. Gosnell was a draftsman for B& O Railroad and later worked for NASA and the Applied Physics Lab.
Member of American Legion Post 31 Westminster, World War II Veteran and a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, Member of the Odd Fellows of Granite MD.
Past member of Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving besides his wife is Aunt: Margaret Day of Westminster. A Dear Niece Mary Beth Hensby of Sykesville and numerous nieces and nephews.
