MARY ELLEN TURNER, 49, of 441 North Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, April 25, 2005 at her home.
Born March 1, 1956 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Isaac F. Barthelow, Sr. and Ellen E. Walker Barthelow.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Turner on June 28, 1996.
She graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1973.
She was previously employed with Save-a-Lot in Hagerstown.
She is survived by two brothers, Raymond W. Barthelow, Sr. of Clear Spring, Maryland, and Isaac F. Barthelow, Jr.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Price, and one brother, Ralph Gilbert.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.

WILLIAM GILBERT SCHENSKY, 77, of 11 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Julia Manor Nursing Home.
Born September 19, 1927 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Viola Virginia Willingham Schensky.
He enjoyed full time ministry, in excess of fifty-eight years, with the Jehovah’s
Witnesses.
He is survived by one sister, Doris Myers of Hagerstown; and one niece, Debra Jane Keedy of Williamsport, Maryland.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Kingdom Hall. Richard G. Myers will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses, Kingdom Hall, 30 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.

JENNIFER MARIE MARTZ, 31, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, May 5, 2005 as a result of an automobile accident in Bryantown, Maryland.
Born November 9, 1973 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Joe and Carol Showe Cook of Hagerstown.
She graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1991.
She was employed with CHS Traffic Control Services for two years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Christopher Lynn Shanholtz, and Ryan Nathan Martz, both at home; one sister, Tami J. Cook of Hagerstown; and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Steve Shifflett will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m.
Memorial donations may be made to a Trust Fund, c/o Tami Cook, 308 Vale Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740, for the benefit of Jennifer’s children.
Flora Waneta Cushen

FLORA WANETA CUSHEN, 92, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, May 6, 2005 at Julia Manor Nursing Home.
Born April 15, 1913, she was the daughter of the late David Brodie and Carrie (Evans) Bonney.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edward R. Cushen, Sr. on December 1, 1994; an infant daughter, Barbara Jean Cushen; three brothers, Russell (Pete) Bonney, David Brodie Bonney, Jr. and Ralph Bonney; and one sister, Winona (Bonney) Henson.
She was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Hagerstown, Maryland where she sang on the choir, taught Sunday School classes, and worked with Vacation Bible School.
She taught Senior Citizen craft classes at Hagerstown Junior College for many years.
She is survived by two children, Margaret (Cushen) Trader, and husband, John S. Trader, of Hagerstown; and Edward Robert Cushen, Jr. of Frederick, Maryland; and four grandchildren, J. Scott Trader of Westminster, David Edward Trader of Hagerstown, and Julia Diane Cushen and Edward Robert Cushen, III, both of Winchester, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p. m. at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

WILLIAM JUNIOR WALLS, 74, of 11 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at his home.
Born March 28, 1931 in Big Pool, Maryland, he was the son of the late Alston W. and Bonita Calbert Walls.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Army.
He was retired from Fairchild Aircraft.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Walls; two daughters, Bonita K. Smith of Hagerstown, and Wendy Mumma of Clear Spring, Maryland; three sisters, Betty Barger and Margaret Sheppard, both of Hagerstown, and Wilma Smith of Boonsboro, Maryland; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Lloyd Allen Walls, and one sister, Shirley Knode.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Friday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard with Pastor James Hoffer officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
Grayson W. "Jake" Warrenfeltz

GRAYSON W. (JAKE) WARRENFELTZ, 95, of 33 West Maple Street, Funkstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at his home.
Born March 10, 1910 in Myersville, Maryland, he was the son of the late Wade and Sadie Delauter Warrenfeltz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Ruth Warrenfeltz on October 14, 1976.
He was employed with the Western Maryland Railroad for forty years, retiring in 1982 as an engineer.
He was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Funkstown.
He was a life member of the South Mountain Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Janice M. Bachtell, and husband, Marlin (Bud) Bachtell of Funkstown, Maryland, and Mary Whipp, and husband, James (Jim) Whipp, of Funkstown, Maryland; one sister, Vada Lantz of Frederick, Maryland; one brother, Donald Warrenfeltz of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Curtis Bachtell, Bradley Bachtell, James Whipp, II, and Kathe Whipp; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew Bachtell, Kristen Bachtell, Tais Bachtell, Nolan Bachtell, Heather Whipp, and Joshua Whipp.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Baker, Mary Gallo, and Naomi Clopper; and three brothers, Hubert Warrenfeltz, Dorsey Warrenfeltz, and Roy Warrenfeltz.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the Funkstown cemetery in Funkstown, Maryland. Rev. Timothy Close will officiate.
