Delbert J. Mason
GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Delbert J. "Tiny" Mason, of Gaithersburg, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998.
He is survived by two children, Delbert Mason Jr. and Ruth Ann Mason, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Tommy Mason of Frederick, Md.; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Helen Monninger.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at De Vol Funeral Home, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today one hour prior to the service.
Mary E. Sagle
KNOXVILLE - Mary Evelyn Sagle, 81, of 1630 Hoffmaster Road, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at her daughter's home.
Born Jan. 2, 1917, in Samples Manor, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Margaret Ellen Moore Myers.
Her husband, Harry Rollian Sagle, died in 1986.
She was a cook at Fahrney-Keedy Home in Boonsboro.
She was a member of Samples Manor Church of God.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Goetz of Samples Manor; seven grandchildren, Donna Sue Painter of Knoxville, Sherry Lynn Hammersla of Sharpsburg, Robin Diane Goetz of Jefferson, Md., Bonnie Jean Dorsey of Mercersburg, Pa., Linda Gale Young of Samples Manor and Brenda Dale Hooper and Terry Lynn Smallwood, both of Charles Town, W.Va.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nina Lorraine Staubs; four sisters, Lillie McCoy, Grace Knight, Lottie Knight and Glendoxra Dusing; and a brother, Mervin Willis Myers.
Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Samples Manor Church of God in Samples Manor. The Rev. Kenneth W. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home in Harpers Ferry today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Larry R. Hottinger
SMITHSBURG - Larry R. Hottinger, 54, of Douglas Court East and formerly of Kearneysville, W.Va., died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at his home.
Born Nov. 20, 1943, in Derwood, Md., he was the son of the late Loy William and Nellie Virginia Dove Hottinger.
He was a self-employed blacktop sealer.
He is survived by a sister, Edith Ritchie of Linville, Va.; a brother, William A. Hottinger of Smithsburg; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg. Pastor Mark Walters will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery in Redland, Md.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Thelma M. Morgan
Thelma M. Morgan, 86, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at City Hospital.
Born Nov. 29, 1911, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Emory S. Wigfield and Bertie A. Hartley Wigfield.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Delbert Morgan, Thomas B. Reid and Robert Leyking.
She attended Full Gospel Church at Four Mile Woods.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Jean Eisner of Summit Point, W.Va., and Lois Lee Suter of Fairfax, Va.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Whetzel, Maude Ryan and Daphne Twigg, and a brother, the Rev. Hartley L. Wigfield.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Revs. Raymond E. Jones, Oscar Motilal and Hartley L. Wigfield Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.

Ernestine F. Gordon
KEEDYSVILLE - Ernestine Ford Gordon, 79, of 44 S. Main St., died Friday, April 17, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 2, 1918, in Keedysville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Luther and Hazel R. Jones Ford.
Her husband, Robert Donald Gordon, died in 1966.
She was a teller with the Keedysville branch of Washington County Bank, retiring in 1997 after 26 years of service.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Keedysville.
She is survived by one daughter, Renee F. Waters of Keedysville; one son, Gary P. Gordon of Keedysville; four grandchildren, Wendy S. Price of Sharpsburg, Kimberly Jo Haney of Boonsboro, Amy R. Simmons of Keedysville and Chad Robert Gordon of Virginia Beach, Va.; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Kenneth Fizer Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Mary C. Keller
Mary Catherine Keller, 75, of 1119 Kuhn Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
Born July 13, 1922, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George William and Vallie Mae Wright Kearns.
She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church.
She also was a member of Pocahontas of Red Men in Williamsport.
She is survived by her husband, Lester "Pat" Keller Jr.; one daughter, Phyllis J. Huggins of Morgantown; two sisters, Emma V. Judy of Romney, W.Va., and Dorothy Harrison of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one granddaughter; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond Lytle will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Floyd E. Bingaman Sr.
Floyd Edward Bingaman Sr., 81, of 910 Chestnut St., Hagerstown, died Friday, April 17, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1916, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Clara E. Beard Bingaman.
He retired from Maryland Correctional Institution. He was previously employed by Superior Dairy Inc.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.
He attended Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church.
He was a member of Alsatia Club and Elks Lodge 378.
He is survived by his wife, Zona M. Ruth Bingaman; one daughter, Eleanora M. "Sue" Wiles of Hagerstown; three sons, Deryle E. Bingaman of Hagerstown, Robert L. Bingaman of Mount Airy, Md., and Floyd E. Bingaman Jr. of Hagerstown; one sister, Dorothy E. Grumbine of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Bingaman and Charles H. Bingaman.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Denny Brown and the Rev. Robert L. Dell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Louise E. Moser
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Louise E. Moser, 74, of Harp Hill Road in Myersville, died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 16, 1923, in Wolfsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Nellie Cartee Leatherman.
She was a member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren in Myersville.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gaither E. Moser; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Foster; two sons, Marion E. Moser of Boonsboro and Larry G. Moser of Middletown, Md.; two sisters, Ruth Smith and Catherine Harshman, both of Myersville; one brother, Robert Leatherman of Myersville; four grandchildren; a special niece, Fay Moser of Hagerstown; and a special friend, Joan Harshman of Myersville.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, 504 Main St. in Myersville. The Rev. Ronald A. Beverlin will officiate. Burial will be in Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Myersville.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Helen R. Lewis
FREDERICK, Md. - Helen Rodgers Tucker Lewis, 82, formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Saturday, April 18, 1998, at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick, where she had been a resident since 1991.
Born May 30, 1915, in Page County, Stanley, Va., she was the daughter of the late Vernon Jackson and Bessie Mae Parks Rodgers of Bardane, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Lewis.
She graduated from Charles Town High School in 1932.
She was a longtime employee of the Diana Shoppe and Interwoven Stocking Co., serving as a sales clerk with Nichols Discount Stores until her retirement in 1976.
She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Martinsburg.
She was a member of Women of the Moose, Martinsburg Chapter 738; the Shenandoah Forest and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Cedarettes 150; the Pythian Sisters; and various sales organizations.
She is survived by her twins, a daughter, Wanda Lee Keebler of Martinsburg, and a son, Wayne Rodgers Tucker of Frederick; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Margaret Rodgers of Cordova, Tenn.; a nephew; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Sheldon W. Rodgers.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Michael Davidson of People's Baptist Church of Frederick will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
