Kathryn E. Jones
BOONSBORO - Kathryn Elizabeth Jones, 93, a resident of Reeders Memorial Home, and formerly of Yarrowsburg, Md., died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 1, 1904, in Yarrowsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Younkins Davidson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Samuel Jones, in 1977.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown during World War II.
She was a life member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren, where she was a member of the Golden Rule and adult Sunday school class.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Ruritan Club Auxiliary.
She is survived by one aunt, nieces and cousins.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Old Brownsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Virginia I. Hoover
Virginia Inez Hoover, 81, of 1131 Hamilton Blvd., Hagerstown, who died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, is survived by one niece, one nephew and two great-nieces.
Orphia V. Ebersole
CLEAR SPRING - Orphia Virginia Ebersole, 69, of 11513 Charles Mill Road, and formerly of Potomac Towers, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997, at Avalon Manor, Hagerstown.
Born March 30, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Craft and Minervia Virginia Robinson Durboraw.
She was employed as a cook in the cafeteria with Interstate Vending at Mack Trucks Inc., Hagerstown.
She was a member of Trinity Christian Church of God, Clear Spring.
She attended activities at Ravenwood Lutheran Village Day Care.
She was a past den mother of Boy Scout Troop 57, West End, Hagerstown.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy L. Beauford of Sharpsburg; three sons, Melvin E. Ebersole of Vienza, Italy, Paul R. Ebersole of Hagerstown and Rodney R. Yost of Clear Spring; one brother, Marshall Durboraw of Hagerstown; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Monninger; three brothers, Ellsworth Durboraw, William Durboraw and Raymond Durboraw; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. Larry E. Yost will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Donald F. Martin Sr.
Donald Franklin Martin Sr., 81, of 18026 Hollyhock Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at Avalon Manor Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 12, 1915, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late Franklin D. and Eva L. Shank Martin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Catherine Hose Martin, in 1986.
He was a retired employee of Western Maryland Railroad.
He was a member of Evangel Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Diane F. Martin; two sons, Donald F. Martin Jr. and Douglas F. Martin; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery. The Rev. Ernest W. Thompson will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

WILLIAMSPORT - Margaret Keener Wyand, 81, of Homewood Retirement Village, who died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, is survived by a brother, R.B. Keener.
Nelson H. Wilt
OAKLYN, N.J. - Nelson H. Wilt, 84, of 24 B W. Oakland Ave., and formerly of Boonsboro, died Monday, Nov. 17, 1997, at St. Agnes Burn Center, Philadelphia.
Born June 14, 1913, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mason S. and Esther E. Golden Wilt.
He owned and operated Audubon News Agency for 10 years. He later was employed as a maitre d' and had more than 30 years of restaurant experience.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served in France during World War II.
He was a member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, Boonsboro.
He was a member of American Legion Murray-Troutt Post 262 in Audubon; and National AARP.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Shifler Wilt; one sister, Marion DeFeo of Manchester, N.H.; and one brother, Mason S. Wilt of Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. John W. Zsittnik will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Wilbert D. Clinton Sr.
Wilbert D. Clinton Sr., 65, of Hagerstown, and formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born June 26, 1932, in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., he was the son of the late James Newton and Margaret Tywman Clinton.
He was a member of Dudley Baptist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Kim R. Skye and Abby D. Harrison, both of Martinsburg, Tracy L. Clinton of Atlanta, Ga., and Robin Clinton of Charles Town, W.Va.; two sons, Wilbert D. Clinton Jr. of Martinsburg and Michael Clinton of Ranson, W.Va.; one sister, Virginia Thomas of Temple Hills, Md.; eight grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina M. Clinton; a son, Randy L. Clinton; one sister, Marie Wilkinson; and three brothers, James Clinton, Austin Clinton, and Kenneth Clinton.
Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Patrick J. Walker will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will meet at the home of his daughter, Abby D. Harrison, Saturday at 2:15 p.m. before going to the funeral home.
Hilda E. Jones
WILLIAMSPORT - Hilda Elizabeth Jones, 101, a resident of Williamsport Nursing Home, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Sept. 26, 1896, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Richard Edwin and Anna Elizabeth Mayor Jones.
She was a 1914 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was employed as a secretary by A. Palmer Mitchell, U.S. Attorney General under President Woodrow Wilson in Washington, D.C. In 1921, she entered into private practice with Mitchell until her retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
She was a member of Daughters of the American Confederacy; AARP; and volunteered for Girl Scouts of Frederick, Md.
She is survived by one sister, Alta Ruth of Frederick; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Benny Jones, Walt Jones, Carlton Jones, Howard Jones, Fritz Jones and Donald Jones.
Graveside services will be today at 11 a.m. at Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md. The Rev. David M. Buchenroth will officiate.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Rosanna Shank
Rosanna Shank, 57, of 926 Salem Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 17, 1940, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ulysses Earl and Anna Lorraine Langle Roser.
Her husband, Richard K. Shank, died in 1989.
She was employed with Personal Care of Hagerstown.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
She was a former member of Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary, Hagerstown.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia S. Smoot of Hagerstown; two sons, Richard J. Shank and Tony W. Shank, both of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori J. Shank; two sisters, Dorothy Roser and Ella Tressler; and three brothers, Donald Roser, Royer Roser and Robert Roser.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Christopher J. Chantelau will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
