FROSTBURG - Milton E. "Sonny" Walters, 53, of 5 Broadway, Frostburg, died Sunday, March 30, 1997, at his sister's residence following a short illess.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Frostburg Eagles Aerie 1273 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jimmie Blair officiating.
The body will be at the church one hour prior to serices.
Pallbearers will be Denny Ritchey, Ronnie Johnson, James Gracie, Edward Gracie, Ivan Plummer, and Ralph Murphy.
Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
GEORGE S. WARNER
CUMBERLAND - George Sherwood Warner, 74, of 1201 Virginia Ave., Cumberland died suddenly Monday, August 25, 1997 shortly after arrival at Memorial Hospital.
Born November 29, 1922 in Upper Merion Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Robert Warner and the late Sarah Ellen (Smith) Warner. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. (Thomas) Warner on Sept. 12, 1975; and a loving companion, Betty Jane Zegles. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Mr. Warner was the owner and operator of George S. Warner & Son for 47 years. He was a member of the Home Builders Association of Western Maryland and a past Exalted Ruler of the Cumberland Elks Lodge #63, and was currently serving as acting Exalted Ruler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II.
Surviving are a son, James George Warner and wife Diane, Cumberland; and four granddaughters, Jenna Warner, Ashley Warner, Michele Keller and Elizabeth Keller, all of Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, 404 Decatur St., Cumberland on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee A. McDaniel officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Cumberland Elks Lodge will hold a memorial service on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
GRACE E. WARNECK
FORT RICHEY, Fla. - Grace E. Warneck, of Liberty Drive, Fort Richey, formerly of Lonaconing, Md., died Monday, July 28, 1997, at her residence.
Mrs. Warneck was the daughter of the late Henry Brown and Mary (Brown) Brown. She also was preceded in death by her husband Frank, in Sept. 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary V. Veach, Chicago, Ill.
The body was cremated.
Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery, Lonaconing.
Local arrangements are made by the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing.
CLARA B. WARREN
CUMBERLAND - Clara B. Warren, 88, of Cumberland, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 1997, at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland.
Born Dec. 7, 1909, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Bernard J. and Cecilia V. Cejrowski. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Warren.
Mrs. Warren was a homemaker in her own home. She attended St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Cresaptown, and the Church of the Resurrection, Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Pittsburgh.
Surviving are one son, Bernard R. Warren and wife Janet, Bel Air, Cumberland; one daughter, Carolyn P. Barron and husband John, Bel Air, Cumberland; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father Regenald Russo, O.F.M., Cap., as celebrant.
Interment will be in the Resurrection cemetery, Coraopolis, Pa., at 2:30 p.m.

KATHLEEN C. WASHINGTON
CUMBERLAND - Kathleen C. Washington, 87, of Lions Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Wallace Street, Cumberland, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Oct. 20, 1909, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Francis and Frances Francis. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Herman G. Washington.
Mrs. Washington was a homemaker and a lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Paul F. Washington, Bronx, N.Y., Herman J. Washington, Elyria, Ohio; three daughters, Therese E. Holmes, Hartsdale, N.Y., Angela Tolbert, Cumberland, and Bernadette Washington, Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Virginia Ann Greene, New York, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home, 230 Baltimore Avenue, Cumberland, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. only.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Friday, June 20, 1997, at 11:30 a.m. with Father Vance Pastorius, OFM, CAP., as celebrant.
Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul cemetery, Cumberland.
The rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m.
ESTHER R. "SAM" WATSON
WESTERNPORT - Esther R. "Sam" Watson, 37, of 700-134 Willow Lake Circle, Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Westernport, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997, at the Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Born April 25, 1960, in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John P. Watson, who died in 1983, and Bonnie (Halterman) Watson, of Westernport.
Miss Watson was a registered nurse, having worked at the Virginia Beach Psychiatric Institute. She graduated from Joliet High School, Joliet, Ill., and received an associate degree in nursing from Allegany College.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving in addition to her mother is a half sister, Sheila Faye Wilson, Short Gap, W.Va.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with President Casey Ritz and Past President William Self officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, W.Va.
