THELMA B. CLARK MCKENZIE
FROSTBURG - Thelma B. (Miller) Clark McKenzie, 83, of 20107 Quinn Street, Gilmore, died Nov. 3, 1997, at home.
Born March 3, 1914, at Pekin, she was a daughter of the late Lonzo and Bridgett (Fitzpatrick) Miller. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Clark; two brothers, William Miller and Ray Miller; and one sister, Nondis Sabero.
She was a member of St. Mary's of The Annunciation, Lonaconing, and the Senior Citizens of Georges Creek.
Surviving are her husband, Roy Clarence McKenzie; two sons, Leon Clark and wife, Shirley, Kansas, and Raymond Clark and wife, Shirley, Myersville; a daughter, Thelma Breightner and husband, Henry, Baltimore; eight step-children, Joann Lashbaugh and husband, Edward, Virginia, Shirley Ravenscroft and husband, John, Lonaconing, Roy McKenzie and wife LaNita, Midland, Marvin McKenzie and wife, Donna, Gilmore, Gary McKenzie and wife, Eleanor, Lonaconing, Mark McKenzie, Brooklyn Park, Lewis McKenzie and wife, Wilda, Lonaconing, Norman McKenzie, McCoole; one sister, Delores Arnold, Denver, Colo.; half-sister, Maxine Murphy, Westernport; half-brother, Rowe Miller and wife, Virginia, Vale Summit; nine grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's of The Annunciation on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with Father James Hannon, Celebrant.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.
A Christian Wake service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with Sister Marietta Culhane, OSF Pastoral Life Director.
WILLIAM B. MCKINLEY SR.
MIDLAND - William B. McKinley Sr., 75, of Midland, died Monday, March 24, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born May 30, 1921, in Midland, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Annabelle (Howat) McKinley. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Marie U. (Ricker) McKinley, on May 19, 1987; and three sisters and two brothers.
Mr. McKinley was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served from 1941 to 1947, and from 1950 to 1952. He was a member of the American Legion Post 169 John Devlin Post, Midland. He retired from PPG Industries after 20 years of service.
Survived by: children, daughter, Jacqueline Marsh and husband Thomas, Westernport, son, William B., Jr., and wife Mary Rita, Midland, daughter, Kathleen Hast and husband James, Hagerstown, and son Greg and wife Heidi, Frostburg; grandchildren, Troy Marsh and wife Stacey, Sterling, Va., Adam and Marie Marsh, Westernport, Molly McKinley, University of Maryland, Baltimore, Michael McKinley, Midland, James and Matthew Hast, Hagerstown, and Jesse, Melissa, and Nicholas McKinley, Frostburg; one brother, Andrew, Cresaptown; and special friend, Joy Broadwater, Midland.
The body will be cremated.
Memorial services will be held at Rocky Gap Veteran's Chapel on Friday at 9:30 a.m. with Sister Joan Maenner, OSF, pastoral life director, and Sister Marietta Culhane OSF, pastoral life director, officiating.
Interment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans cemetery.

MINNIE L. MCMILLAN-HELMICK
FROSTBURG - Minnie Lee McMillan-Helmick, 67, of 12300 Carlos Road, Frostburg, died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Nov. 1, 1930, in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wesley Crawford and Martha Mae (Buskirk) Crawford Thomas. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McMillan.
She is survived by three sons, Charles William McMillan, Flintstone, Stanley Robert McMillan, Vale Summit, and James D. McMillan, Cumberland; five daughters, Sylvia Platter, Cassie Lee Clise, Judy Ann Wilson, Mary Martha Riggleman, all of Frostburg, and Linda K. Frenzel, Barton; a brother, Charles W. Crawford, Frostburg; a sister, Betty Mae Szilaggi, Erie, Pa.; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Shaft United Methodist Church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Frye officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be Brian Clise, Howard Platter III, Charlie Wilson, Charles McMillan, Raymond Frenzel, James Clise, Jesse Frenzel, and Chris Frenzel.
MARY ELLEN REBAR
BLOOMINGTON - Mary Ellen Rebar, 83, a resident of Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, formerly of 68 Knight Street, Bloomington, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born June 30, 1914, in Beryl, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Leo Flynn and Dora (Davis) Flynn. She also was preceded in death by two brothers; three sisters; one son; and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Rebar was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport. She also attended Bloomington Methodist Church, Bloomington.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Fred Rebar, of Bloomington; three sons, Stan Rebar and wife, Diane, Westernport, James Rebar and wife, Florence of Goose Creek, S.C., Robert Rebar and wife, Lydia, Oceanside, Calif.; two daughters, Joanna Bever and husband, Jim, Fountain, W.Va., and Josephine Paugh and husband, Robert Lee, Westernport. She also is survived by one brother, Paul Bernard Flynn and wife, Jane, Windber, Pa.; one sister, Agnes Tibbetts of Allegany Nursing Home, Cumberland, formerly of Piedmont, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; and many, many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father James Hannon officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be in the Bloomington cemetery, Bloomington.

WILHELMINA E. MCRAE
CUMBERLAND - Wilhelmina E. "Toots" McRae, 90, of "The Chateau" and formerly of Washington Street, Cumberland, died Thursday, August 7, 1997, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.
Born February 25, 1907, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. and Margaret (Stuber) Saum. She also was preceded in death by her husband, James Lester McRae, in 1951; a brother, George O. Saum; a sister-in-law, Phyllis V. Saum; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McRae was employed for 30 years with the S.T. Little Jewelry Store. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the AARP.
Surviving are one son, Harold S. Ford and wife Rosemary, Edenton, N.C.; one daughter, Suzanne Collins and husband Thomas M., Smithsburg; one brother, Albert R. Saum and wife Bettie, Oldsman, Fla.; six grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.
At Mrs. McRae's request, her body has been cremated and there will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted at Hillcrest Burial Park on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis A. Michael officiating.
Interment will follow.
The family requests donations be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale.
AGNES C. PIPER
BALTIMORE - Agnes C. Piper, 75, of Ravenswood Nursing & Rehab Center, Baltimore, died Friday, Oct. 10, 1997.
She was born in Eckhart on Oct. 10, 1922, the daughter of the late James M. Piper, Sr. and Idella (Leake) Piper.
She is survived by two sisters, Jane L. Crowe and husband John, Frostburg, and Mary Lois Ucci and husband Pompelio, Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, James Michael Piper, Jr. and wife Virginia, Radford, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her body was donated to the Maryland Board of Anatomy. A memorial mass will be offered at a later date.
WILDA M. MEADOWS
FROSTPROOF, Fla. - Wilda M. Kenney Meadows, 83, of Frostproof, formerly of Fort Ashby, W.Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997, at the home of her daughter, Mary Lou Wagoner.
Born May 26, 1914, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of the late Luther and Bertha (Fogle) Zimmers. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, C. Edgar Kenney.
Mrs. Meadows opened the Country Roads Restaurant in Fort Ashby on March 6, 1974. She owned and operated the business until 1991. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the United Methodist Women, and she was a charter member of the Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Seth Meadows; three sons, James E. Kenney, Frostproof, K. Dean Kenney and wife Karen, Greer, S.C., and William Douglas Kenney and wife Cynthia, Fort Ashby; three daughters, W. Kay Meadows and husband Philip, Fort Ashby, Deanna L. Brandt and husband Darrell, Ridgeley, and Mary Lou Wagoner and husband Darrel, Fort Ashby; three stepsons, Philip Meadows and wife Kay, Gene Meadows and wife Betty Lou, and Wilton Meadows and wife Sheri, all of Fort Ashby; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
The body will be taken to Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday where friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dallas Forren officiating.
Interment will be in Fort Ashby cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The Fort Ashby Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m.
