AGNES E. MINNICK
CARLOS - Agnes Elizabeth Minnick, 82, of 12507 Carlos Road, S.W., Frostburg, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 12, 1915, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Emma (Caton) Pfaff. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Hilda and Jennie; and one daughter, Judith.
Mrs. Minnick was a homemaker. She was a member of the Carlos Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, James E. Minnick; one daughter, Beverly Lowery, Carlos; one son, David Minnick, LaVale; one sister, Joyce Fisher, Frostburg; one brother, Charles Pfaff, Oakland; two grandchildren, Lora Winebrenner and Matthew Combs; two great-granddaughters, Ciara and Cenoa; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services and committal services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George A. Aist officiating.
GERALD A. PARIS
LONACONING - Gerald A. "Tuck" Paris, 86, of the Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing, formerly of 17 Douglas Avenue, Lonaconing, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Dec. 25, 1910, in Keyser, W.Va., he was a son of the late Palmer and Alice (Akers) Paris. He also was preceded in death by his wife Helen Ethel Paris, Jan. 28, 1990; and one grandchild.
Mr. Paris was retired from RPS Auto Parts. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Lonaconing, Senior Citizens of Georges Creek, and the AARP.
Surviving are one son, Robert W. Paris and wife Phyllis E., Keyser; one daughter, Geraldine S. "Gerry" Smith and husband William E., Lady Lake, Fla.; two brothers, Ellsworth P. Paris, Grottoes, Va., and Wilfred E. Paris, Hagerstown; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Mortimore officiating.
Private interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
ROBERT R. ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - Robert Randolph Robinette, 84, of Cumberland, died Friday, April 4, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1913, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Albert Marshall and Anna Pearl (Zembower) Robinette. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Anita (Steele) Robinette, in 1989.
Mr. Robinette was a superintendent for the Allegany County Sanitary Commission, retiring in 1975. He formerly was employed at Cumberland Cement and Supply. He was a 1930 graduate of Allegany High School, and was past president of the AARP.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie J. Boswell and Betsy Paye, both of Cumberland; two brothers, James Robinette, Odessa, Texas, and Ernest O. Robinette, Vista, Calif.; two grandchildren, Bradley S. Paye, Arlington, Va., and Alix N. Paye, Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home, 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Vance Pastorius officiating.
Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bradley Paye, Bob Paye, Ronald McFarland, Dennis Perrin, John Steiner and Joe Strickland.
ANNIE L. SMITH
BARTON - Annie Laura Warnick Smith, 92, of the Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing, formerly of New Georges Creek Road, Barton, died Sunday, May 11, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Sept. 11, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Mortimore Broadwater and the late Ida (Bittinger) Broadwater. She also was preceded in death by her husbands, Troxel Warnick, in 1962, and Edgar Smith, in 1982; two sons, Leonard and Roy Warnick; and one daughter, Leona Shockey.
Mrs. Smith formerly worked at Al's Restaurant in Frostburg. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing.
Surviving are four sons, Ellis Warnick and wife Edna, Barton, Leslie Warnick and wife Rae, Lonaconing, Bernard Warnick and wife Bonnie, Illinois, and Donald Warnick and wife Judy, Pontiac, Mich.; three daughters, Freda Rogers, Reading, Pa., Hazel Mason and husband Bill, Rock Hill, S.C., and Bernadine Moffatt, New Hampshire; one brother, Elbert Broadwater, Rawlings; two sisters, Margaret Green, Keyser, W.Va., and Christine Smith, Oakland; 32 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Webb officiating.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill cemetery, Moscow Mills.
WALTER G. MINNICK
FROSTBURG - Walter G. ``Blue Jay" Minnick, 82, of Frostburg, died Friday, March 28, 1997, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 29, 1914, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late James Edward and Annie (Blocher) Minnick. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Minnick and Wolford Minnick; and one grandson, John B. Stevens.
Mr. Minnick was employed by ABL; the Liquor Board as an inspector; and as Deputy Clerk of the Court. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, where he was a member of the consistory for years, and had been secretary/treasurer and a representative to Frostburg State Campus Ministry. He was a former member of Masonic Lodge 99 AF & AM, and the Frostburg Lions Club. He was one of the best athletes to graduate from Beall High School having played baseball and soccer.
Surviving are his wife, Anna (Jeffries) Minnick; three daughters, Patricia Stevens and husband John, Carolyn Barmoy and husband Gary, and Debra Brodbeck and husband John, all of Frostburg; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Patrick and Scott Stevens, Doug, Shawn and Dawn Barmoy, Amy Twigg, Lisa Jackson, Ryan Brodbeck and John Brodbeck Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Minnick and wife Agnes, Carlos.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence A. Neumark officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kevin Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Scott Stevens, Doug Barmoy, Shawn Barmoy and Ryan Brodbeck. Great-grandsons Chase Barmoy and Zachary Stevens will be honorary pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ or Beall High Athletic Association.
HARRY E. MINNICKS III
CUMBERLAND - Harry Elmer Minnicks III, 47, of 449 N. Waverly Terrace, died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at his home.
Born March 23, 1950, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Harry Elmer Minnicks Jr., and the late Clara L. (Santasanio) Minnicks. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Debra (Scharf) Minnicks.
Mr. Minnicks was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is the last surviving member of his family.
Interment will be in Maryland State Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.

EUGENE R. MINNIGH
CUMBERLAND - Eugene Richard ``Gene" ``Bud" Minnigh, 74, of Cumberland, died Saturday, April 26, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Sept. 6, 1922, in Altoona, Pa., he was the son of the late Gilbert H. and Regina Mary (Bellaire) Minnigh. He also was preceded in death by one half brother.
Mr. Minnigh was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a retired truck driver for PPG, and was self-employed in sewing machine repairs. He was a member of the Cresaptown United Methodist Church; Goodfellowship Club; Cresaptown Eagles Aerie 2883; and Oldtown VFW.
Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Esther L. (Smith) Minnigh and three loving and devoted children, one son, Richard E. Minnigh and wife Crystal, and two daughters, Barbara Jean Fair and husband Thomas, and Cathy L. Meekins and husband Donald, all of Cumberland; one brother, Gilbert H. Minnigh and wife Norma, Cumberland; one sister, Jeanette Smith, Fairfax, Va.; eight grandsons, Richard E. Minnigh Jr. and wife Ann, Alabama, Michael W. Minnigh and wife Shelley, Short Gap, W.Va., James E. Minnigh and wife Wanita, LaVale, Shayne D. Minnigh and fiancee Melissa Murry, Fort Ashby, Thomas A. Fair and fiancee Tara Deal, Sean E. Bean and wife Brenda, G. Scott Bean and wife Mary, and Jack Meekins, all of Cumberland; one granddaughter, Mandy L. Meekins, Cumberland; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at noon with the Rev. Harold McClay officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.
Military services will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
