ELOISE GILTON
LAVALE - Eloise Gilton, 71, of LaVale, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at the home of her friends Linda and Steve Snoots, at the personal care home.
Born July 27, 1926, in Kitts Hill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Franklin Brown and the late Clara (Jenkins) Brown. She also was preceded in death by her husband James Gilton in 1991.
Surviving are a son James Jay Gilton and wife Cheryl, LaVale; a grandson, Tracy Gilton; a brother, Clarence Andrew Brown, Ironton, Ohio; a stepbrother, Donald Brown, Ironton, Ohio; and two stepsisters, Sue Wheeler, Coal Grove, Ohio, and Brenda Carman, Ironton, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. John Herbst officiating.
ARDELLA B. BEELER
CUMBERLAND - Ardella M. Bosley Beeler, 71, of Cumberland, died Sunday, April 20, 1997, at the Allegany County Nursing Home.
Born May 10, 1925, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Simmons and Rosie (Keller) Simmons. She also was preceded in death by two husbands, S.O. "Jack" Bosley, and William A. Beeler.
Surviving are one son, Samuel L. Bosley, Cape Canaveral, Fla.; two daughters, Betty (Bosley) Yost, Cumberland, and Laura M. (Bosley) Lantz, Akron, Ohio; four sisters, Anna Mackley, Westernport, Virginia Grimm, Tunnelton, W.Va., Rose Sharer, Oakland, and Lona McDowell, Cumberland; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. The body will be cremated.
A private memorial service will be conducted at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home on Wednesday with Ronald G. Yost officiating.
FLOSSIE O. BEEMAN
LONACONING - Flossie Olive (Broadwater) Beeman, 88, of Knapps Meadow, Lonaconing, went home to Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997.
She personified a virtuous woman and "her price is far above rubies." "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."
Born Jan. 28, 1909, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Harmon Broadwater and the late Harriett C. (Bittinger) Broadwater. She also was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Beeman; three sisters, Nellie Llewellyn, Minnie Broadwater and Dorothy Sutherland; and one granddaughter, Donna James.
Mrs. Beeman was a member of the Dunkard Brethren Church, Broadwater Chapel, Savage River Road, for 74 years and served in various capacities.
Flossie and her husband also are the parents of the Country Gospel Singers, who ministered in the area for 24 years.
Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Oscar L. Beeman; three sons, the Rev. Homer Beeman and wife Freda, Westernport, Robert Beeman and wife Saundra, Frostburg, and Roger Beeman and wife Sandy, Springfield, Va.; three daughters, Edna Clark and husband Glen, Lonaconing, Louise Skidmore and husband Stanley, Frostburg, Lavona Sines and husband Ronnie, Frostburg; five brothers, Howard Broadwater, LaVale, Grover Broadwater, LaVale, Edward Broadwater, Corriganville, Herbert Broadwater, Chester, and Robert Broadwater, Lonaconing; seven sisters, Della Beeman, LaVale, Edith Long, Moran Manor Nursing Home, Theresa Broadwater, Westernport, Myrtle Broadwater, York, Pa., Rosella Rounds, Grantsville, Lillie Broadwater, Westernport, and Thelma Bittinger, Grantsville; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lonaconing, on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Elder Virgil Leatherman and Elder Ray Stuber officiating.
Interment will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Clark, David Beeman, Danny Beeman, Bob Beeman Jr., Nathan Beeman and Trent Beeman.
JEFFREY L. BEEMAN
BARTON - Jeffrey L. Beeman, 36, of Bartlett Run Road, SW, Barton, died Friday, March 28, 1997, at his residence.
Born Aug. 4, 1960, in Baltimore, he was a son of Joseph Junior Beeman and Wilma Jean (McGee) Beeman, of Barton. He also was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Edith L. Beeman.
Mr. Beeman was a mechanic.
Surviving are his maternal grandmother, Jessie C. McGee, Lonaconing; one sister, Wilma Jean Thorne, Winter Haven, Fla., and her son Jamie, who lives with his grandmother, Wilma Jean Beeman, of Barton; three brothers, James Beeman and wife Alice, Barton, Joseph A. Beeman and wife Veva, Short Gap, W.Va., and John E. Beeman and wife Kim, Barton; numerous aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The body was cremated.
Memorial services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Loar officiating.
Interment will be in the Green cemetery, Garrett County.
LENA C. BEEMAN
FROSTBURG - Lena Christine (Sgaggero) Beeman, 50, of Powells Lane Apartments, Apartment A8, Frostburg, went to be with the Lord, with her family beside her, on Monday, July 14, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1947, in Piedmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Phyllis (Cannon) Sgaggero.
Mrs. Beeman was employed at the Princess Restaurant, Frostburg, for 8 years before she became sick. She was a member of the God's Ark of Safety, Frostburg.
Surviving are her father Vitto Sgaggero and step mother Suanne G. Sgaggero, Finzel; her husband William Abraham Beeman, Sr., Frostburg; one daughter, Kathy Hanlin and husband Austin, Westernport; three sons, William Beeman Jr. and wife Kelly, Shaft, Steven Beeman, at home, and Joey Beeman and girlfriend Lorraine, Frostburg; seven grandchildren, Austin Jr., William, Christopher, Ryan, Scott, Nicole and James; one step grandson, Justin; three sisters, Linda Jeffry and husband Ron, Frostburg, Melinda Routhier, Frostburg, and Paula Vassalo, Cumberland; one brother, Frank Sgaggero and wife June, Lonaconing; her mother-in-law, Margaret Beeman, Detmold; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the God's Ark of Safety, Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the church on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Pastor J. Richard Greene and the Pastor Everett Spence officiating.
Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Pete Booth, Ricky Webb, Frankie Sgaggero, Anthony Vassalo, Dale Sgaggero and George Pappas. Her grandsons will be the honorary pallbearers.

THE REV. WILBUR R. ELLIOTT
LAVALE - The Rev. Wilbur Reed Elliott, 85, of Moores Drive, LaVale, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at his residence.
Born Aug. 23, 1912, in Hertford, N.C., he was the son of the late Charlie Wilson and Katie (Rogerson) Elliott.
Rev. Elliott was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God Church. He was the senior outreach pastor for the Central Assembly of God Church, Cumberland. He was the former pastor of Beth Shan Assembly of God Church and the Patterson Creek Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jerry (Athey) Elliott; a son, Curtis R. Elliott and wife Femie, Andover, Kan.; three sisters, Margaret Byrum, Norfolk, Va., Katherine King, Kitty Hawk, N.C., and Jane Hudgins, Virginia Beach, Va.; and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Central Assembly of God Church, Cumberland, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Butler, Pastor David Diehl, and Ken Burtram, Secretary/Treasurer of Potomac District Assembly of God, officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
