HELEN L. GLASS
WESTMINSTER - Helen Louise Glass, 83, of Westminster, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998, at the Carroll County General Hospital.
Born Oct. 18, 1914, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ida Corbin Schaefer. She was the wife of the late Joseph Glass.
Before retiring she worked 38 years at Crown Cork & Seal in Baltimore.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janet S. and Harris W. LeFew of Westernport; son and daughter-in-law, James F. and Carol B. Head of Westminster; step-daughters and husbands, Patricia and Joseph Peraino of Newark, Del., and Joan and Anthony Butta of Baltimore; one brother, George C. Schaefer of Littlestown, Pa. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Oscar "Tom" Schaefer and Herschel Schaefer; and sisters, Pauline Green and Mary Schaefer.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, 2 p.m., at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, with the Rev. Roger Strait, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church, officiating. Inurnment of ashes will be in Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery in Smallwood. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

DAPHNE A. KELLER
MCCOOLE - Daphne A. Keller, 72, of 21st Lane, McCoole, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at her residence.
Born on Nov. 1, 1926, at Newark, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Laura B. (Bray) Weicht. She also was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Keller, on April 7, 1974; and by two sons, Robert James Keller and Raymond M. Keller.
Mrs. Keller was retired from Potomac Valley Hospital where she was employed in the dietary department and as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Victory Post #155, American Legion, Westernport.
Surviving are one daughter, Sharon A. Butts, Keyser; three sons, Russell W. Keller, Westernport, Md., Jerry L. Keller and Grant W. Keller, both at home; a favorite niece, Vida Cooper, Swanton, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Smith Funeral Home, Keyser, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Stottlemyer officiating. Interment will follow.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Memorial Hospital Home Hospice, 600 Memorial Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502.
FRANCES T. GLICKSMAN
CUMBERLAND - Frances T. Glicksman, 83, of Cumberland, died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998, at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
Born Sept. 1, 1915, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Rotella) Caccavano. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Sol Glicksman.
Mrs. Glicksman had been a seamstress at Peskin's. She also had done work for Sally Pallik and Footers. She had belonged to Beth Jacob Synagogue, where she was on the Women's League, Hadassah, and was a member of the Temple Sisterhood.
Survivors include her son, Ron Glicksman and wife Rosalie, with whom she had resided in Hunt Valley; one brother, Louis Caccavano, Oakdale, N.Y.; one sister, Michilina "Mickey" Dauenheimer, West Palm Beach, Fla,; two grandchildren, Michael Glicksman, Hunt Valley, and Senior Airman Nicole Glicksman, USAF, Biloxi, Miss.; several nieces and nephews including Philip Cosenza, with whom she had also resided; and dear family friends, Carol Wartzack and children Natalie, Carl and Tracy.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., corner of Greene and Smallwood streets, Cumberland, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Leonard Schwab presiding.
Interment will be in the East View cemetery.
STANLEY B. JOHNSON
CUMBERLAND - Stanley Blaine Johnson, 85, of Potomac Park, Cumberland, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at the Allegany County Nursing Home.
Born Oct. 3, 1913, in Red Creek, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jacob Boggs and Mary Jane (Wilfong) Johnson. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent, Dorsey and Daniel Johnson; and three sisters, Lena Johnson, Della Mallow and Rosie Breedlove .
Mr. Johnson was a heavy equipment operator for Cumberland Contracting and was a member of Living Stone Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Mary B. (Simmons) Johnson; one son, Stanley Marvin Johnson, Sunrise, Fla.; one daughter, Erma R. Lynch and husband, George, Elyria, Ohio; four grandchildren, William S. Coleman and wife, Angelika, Security, Colo., Joseph D. Coleman, Fitchville, Ohio, Bruce A. Johnson and wife, Julie, Uniontown, Ohio, Judy E. Grubb and husband, Brian, North Lawrence, Ohio; and nine-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Living Stone Church of the Brethren on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy L. Monn officiating. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
MARTHA I. GLOTFELTY
ACCIDENT - Martha Imogene Glotfelty, 89, of 3251 Mosser Road, Accident, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998, at her residence.
Born Aug. 31, 1908, in Hoyes, she was a daughter of the late Hamill and Sadie (DeWitt) Casteel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit S. Glotfelty.
Mrs. Glotfelty was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church and Oakland Chapter 67, Order of the Eastern Star, and had served as organist for both for many years. She was also a former member of the Maryland House of Delegates from 1962-66.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Glotfelty, Pittsburgh, Pa., Hamill Glotfelty, Accident, Kenneth Glotfelty, Carlisle, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, McHenry, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Robinson officiating.
Interment will be in the Bittinger cemetery.
Oakland Chapter 67, O.E.S. will hold a memorial service on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
MARTHA M. GOODRICH
CUMBERLAND - Martha M. Goodrich, 85, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, May 5, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1913, in Ocean, she was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary (Bush) Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Leroy Goodrich, who died July 10, 1966; and two brothers, Michael F. Hughes and Peter A. Hughes.
Mrs. Goodrich was retired from the Celanese Corporation after 48 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the church sodality. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for 17 years and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia A. Lindsay, Silver Spring; one sister, Catherine M. Winebrenner, Roseville, Mich.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Fieller, and Angela "Angie" Lindsay, both of Silver Spring; two great-grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Fieller; a special niece, Jane Rita Borland, LaVale; a special neighbor, Dottie Tabler; and several other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday at 9 a.m. with the Fr. Milton A. Hipsley as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
TERRY A. GOSS
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Terry Allen Goss, 51, of Miami Beach, formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in Miami Beach.
Born Oct. 13, 1946, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Harry Francis and Mary Frances (Hall) Goss.
Mr. Goss was a general contractor and carpenter. He was a member of the Goodfellowship Club, Cumberland.
Surviving are two brothers, John F. Goss, San Diego, Calif., and Paul E. Goss and wife Nancy, Cumberland; two sisters, Mary J. Rice and husband William "Buddy," and Kay E. Wiley and husband Joe, all of Cumberland; and special loved one, Marsha, of Miami.
At Mr. Goss' request, he was cremated.
The Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Cumberland, on Saturday, April 25, at 11 a.m.
The cremains will be interred at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
